Ive had 3 different plumbers over the last year come out and trouble shoot our water pressure issues. No solution offered was under $4k and some were as high as $30k+. Ive seen the Plumbing Department vehicles around and thought id try for one more opinion. The plumber who showed up was clean cut, professional in appearance and communication and went right to work to assess the possible cause. Not only did this company solve the problem in under an hour, he did it for a miniscule fraction of what ive been quoted. Honestly felt like i didnt spend anything at all. MY NEW FAVORITE! Our ejector pump was working for 20 years but we felt it was time to replace. We picked them because their offer was the cheapest. We got an open box ejector pump installed a year and a half ago. A little over a year later the pump stopped working. It was not experience we knew… This cost us another $600+. Plumbing Department came as the most expensive after all!!!
We did also noticed later that the installation bent the sump pump next to the executor pump.I assume this will negatively affect the sump pump performance and longevity.

We received a prompt touchpoint on Monday AM for an afternoon visit from Jeff. He was on time, informative, and walked us through all our options and explained ahead of time the potential costs of each. Lucky for us, the cheapest and easiest option worked and he quickly fixed our problem. We felt comfortable and confident in their approach at every step and appreciate that they didn’t just say we needed to replace the part for several hundred more dollars! Thank you team. The Plumbing Department replaced my kitchen faucet and shut off valves. The plumber called in advance of arriving and came during the scheduled window. It was easy to make an appointment online. My new faucet looks great and the plumber explained everything that he was going to do in detail. I would highly recommend!

There was a small leak in an unused sprinkler pipe outside my home; after going back and forth with other companies, The Plumbing Department came out and found a simple solution to the problem. All issues were thoroughly checked, suggestions for improvements were made, and the leak was stopped. At my request, another pipe was assessed. The company is quick to respond and the pricing is fair. The plumber (Mike) was attentive and explained everything. He even offered to help a guy fixing a flat tire on the way to his next call!. I will definitely use the Plumbing Department again.

I reached out to The Plumbing Department when we had a plumbing issue in the bathtub of a rental property/Airbnb. They were able to come out in a couple of hours, diagnosed the (somewhat complicated) issue quickly, and went to work resolving the problem. The plumbing department took care of updating a large amount of plumbing in my building efficiently and for a reasonable price.

Our condo association hired The Plumbing Department to address our kitchen stack causing a water back-up into one of the units. Communication from first contact through the day of the work being completed was excellent. The tech who came out did a very thorough job of cleaning out the pipes & doing a quick review to address another potential issue with our grease trap. When the grease trap began to cause further issues, the owner Jeff was quick to respond over the weekend & rearranged other jobs to get somebody out to our building first thing in the morning. Again, communication on this second job was excellent from start to finish. It's clear that Jeff & team take pride in their work & treat every job as if it's being done for a family member. I think we've found our go-to plumber for our association!

I live overseas and needed a gas line repaired in a property we own in Chicago. Trying to identify and contact a professional plumber was extremely difficult. After trying to deal with 5 plumbers who either didn't return my calls or said they would do the repair but didn't, I was referred to the Plumbing Dept. From my first phone call to them until the job was done, every person I spoke to was professional, friendly and responsive. They did what they said they would do WHEN they said it would be done - sounds like this isn't anything to rave about, but these days and after my experience with the other half-hearted plumbers, the Plumbing Dept's level of professionalism is notable. I am extremely grateful to them. And I would certainly use them again and recommend them to everyone. Contact them first - you won't need to contact anyone else!!!
