Maryann was very customer friendly very informative. The plumber did not give me the same price Maryann quoted, she quoted 150.00 per hour, he wasn't even here a good 25min, and he charged me 165.00 dollars, but it is what it is. I understand that if they are here for 15min its still 150.00 dollars, but why would he charge me a extra 15.00 dollars. I've known Mr yerkes for many many years, he was always very knowledgeable, and helpful with any Diy project I was doing, by me being a female I made many mistakes, and Mr yerkes had many laughs on me, he his a great friend .I wish he still had his hardware

When we call for plumbing services we usually expect to get overcharged. After Mike and Matt came through.
They looked at the busted sewer pipe under the floor and they charged a very fair price for the repair. They also did a great and neat job cementing the hole in the floor.

Dave and Anthony were great! I was truly impressed- They are honest and have fair prices. I was really impressed by their service and work, not to mention they are forth generation. We had a problem with our basement toilet and we felt like it was impossible to fix but these two brothers worked together to find a solution and they did. They were very communicative, professional and truly honest people. We will be using them for any future plumbing issues and would highly recommend!! Thank you Yerkes for such great customer service experience.

Absolutely amazing.

We just moved in April so we were unsurprised there were plumbing issues after move in. We had a plumbing company that did other work but when they said it was 4k to fix a clogged pipe after looking at it for two minutes, my Ma suggested this company as a second opinion (she always uses them!). I was ready to pay 4k because I thought that the pipe would cost that much.

Glad I got a second opinion! Turns out they didn’t go as far as Matt did.

Matt was super professional and courteous. He went really far down the pipeline to clear debris from the previous owner and he took the time and care to make sure that was the issue. He explained everything to me and also got the job done in about two hours. Our plumbing works great now. Also, they are incredibly affordable, too. A++ 12/10 — found our permanent plumber now :)

We have been using Yerkes for years. They are always prompt, professional, and reasonably priced. Above all, we trust them! Needed them again today, and as usual, they came out did a great job at a good price. Chris was excellent. Explained everything and showed me what needed to be done. He finished and cleaned up, and we were all set. Highly recommend Yerkes!!

Matt did a great job. He was on time and very knowledgeable. Educated me on some things and the price was reasonable. I'll definitely be using Yerkes Plumbing again.

Years ago I would call and they would respond/ be out quickly. Now, in the last month I called and left several messages and even went to web site and left a request there. NO response. No calls returned, no online response. Poor business ethics. I'm sad, as I like to use local, but apparently they don't need/want my business.

To busy even to talk much less fix a problem Take your business to Walgreens..

Power provides the best and most experienced plumbing service in Chicago. I wish all service providers could be half as good as Power.

This place is a gem, and their office staff Rhea is so lovely. We had a couple big issues this summer and have been so frustrated with other providers, but this company was always quick and thorough and nice.

They saved us and fixed a drain under our house that was clogged by a root. They were out within 2 hours and everything was fixed in another 2 hours. They also explained everything to me so now we know what to do so the problem doesn't happen again!

Bob from Power Plumbing. He came out to give my condo association a comparative quote for some work on a pipe under one of the garden units. He identified the pipe might not be in use. We need to do a little further investigation, but it looks like if we don't need to get the work done, it will save the building $15k!

I had a water leak to the unit below me after 22 years of living in my condo. PATRICK, young, inexperienced plumber DID NOT try what 3 other licensed plumbers told me he should have tried to fix it (wax ring) but insteadREMOVED the cast iron flange unnecessarily which the 3 other licenced plumbers and the City of Chicago Plumbing dept (over the phone) said was placed in the right spot since I live in an older building and extensions or other means can get it the 1/4 above the tile from where it was. He has caused a very costly, complicated project for me because of his incompetence and the company not willing to keep me as a satisifed customer.
