Power plumbing came to my rescue - building drain was clogged up - so other people sink and food were coming up into our sink. Not pleasant. I called Friday evening and they were round Saturday morning to fix the problem. Professional, response, and explained everything that was happening. I will. use them again.

Power Plumbing replaced the failed wax ring which caused problems downstairs; they successfully dealt with the bad original installation of the toilet, unclogged the bathroom sink, and replaced parts which caused the toilet to run so often. I smiled as I wrote the check. Highest recommendation.

We called more than a week ago to get an appointment. Appointment day comes, appointment window closes, neither hide nor hair of anyone from this company. I tried calling them in the last 15 minutes of the appt window, and the exceedingly rude answering service simply asks, "Is your appointment window done yet?" Well no. "Then call back after it's past and no one shows up." Worthless. Call again after the window passes, I'm on hold for 10 minutes, same lady answers and tells us the service person will call. 20 more minutes he calls to tell us he never had a ticket with us. Now I have to wait until Monday for THEM to call ME back, most likely to wait another week for an appt. Nothing during the week of course because they have banker's hours and it costs time and a half for anything after 5pm, you know, when most people are home and available. The "available 24 hours" is a lie, anything outside of banker's hours will cost you an arm and a leg. Worthless. Save yourself time and frustration, find another company.

Power Plumbing was recommended to us when our normal plumber couldn't fit us in for a clogged toilet. Great service and a reasonable price. You don't get much better than that.

Ray is a great manager and Bobby is a professional plumber who knows everything about pipes, sewer, jetting, etc'. We have a problematic plumbing system in our building and they are working on the issues in the best way. We are recommending this company very much!

Highly recommend this company. Super nice and knowledgeable people. Steve was able to trouble shoot my problem over the phone with a few pictures and avoid the need for emergency service.

I don't recommend. I requested rodding service two different times about a month apart. Both times the women answering the phone said someone would get back to me to schedule a time. The first time I never heard back, the second they called about a week later after I had scheduled with another plumber.

We live in a vintage three flat that has some quirks. We had a leaky faucet that three other plumbers had no idea how to fix. James from Power was able to get creative and figure out a solution. Highly recommend their services.

Rae, Robin, Paul, Jason - they are each friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. We take our equipment to Power for the annual inspection for city approval. I couldn’t be happier with the professional service.

Angel and Nikko came through in a big way for me late in the afternoon on a Sunday. They were extremely fast at responding to my afterhours request, showed up immediately, and quickly went to work - saved me (and my neighbor downstairs) from a potentially expensive water damage repair. Hopefully I never have a plumbing issue again, but if I do, Power Plumbing will be my first call and I will ask for Angel and Nikko.

We needed to have a plumber on call for a very important event. Robin and the team were wonderful and helped us every step of the way to ensure we were ready if anything happened. I appreciate the team and will be using them again in the future.

Very quickly scheduled service and took care of the issues - well actually the plumber balked at fully investigating an issue in the basement which I thought was reasonable, a repair requested by the buyer of the condo and other findings kinda made it not necessary. I was hoping to get their invoice and findings to the buyer quickly so if they did still want it done we'd have plenty of time.

Unfortunately it is now 2+ weeks from the service and have yet to receive the invoice. Called and emailed several times to ask for it, explaining why I need the invoice. They charged my credit card and everything over a week ago.... still no invoice. Today they called and still haven't sent an invoice but tried to charge my credit card a second time for service.... At best this is a really disorganized business at worst they're operating a scam here trying to double charge people. If you did get service from them I'd check your card statements again

Power plumbing has always delivered top notch service. I feel Ray and the crew who she schedules also go out of their way to explain my options and how my plumbing systems, water heaters, etc. work. They are honest, professional and accommodating.

Warning this place charges by the hour not the job. They took advantage and charged me thousands of dollars when I needed emergency labor. Do not use them. I recently needed more plumbing work for a different non emergency project and after getting more quotes I received a free hour estimate and a reasonably fixed price for the work. when I asked them about doing work they tried to charge me extra to come out in the snow and the operator Ray was extremely rude. Please beware they are a rip off and I would def never use them again.

John from Power Plumbing did a great job in replacing a bad seal on our toilet. At first I was leery because they charge by the hour, but he fixed the toilet so quickly and also put a better/upgraded seal so this wouldn’t happen again for a long time. Our building will definitely be using them again in the future. Thanks, John!

Used yesterday 2/17/18. Second time I’ve used them and I am very satisfied. First time I had a bad seal on my toilet and the gentleman fixed in the first hour he was there. This time around I had a leak on the second floor and the plumber (Joe) showed up and helped me identify the cause of the leak in the first hour he was there. They didn’t milk the clock or up charge me and we’re honest about the solutions. They were also on time. Will definitely recommend to my friends and will also use in the future.

Fast, Knowledgeable & reliable. Jim, who fixed our spigot, was fantastic and very friendly, as well as Steven & Ray (Rachel?) who helped set the appointments up. If you want the job done right, this is it!

Paul, Mike, and other support staff from this team are INCREDIBLE. Whether you're looking for fair and reasonable pricing on a minor repair, or you need professional and prompt service for an emergency job - THIS is the team. Great communication/response times and a KNOWLEDGEABLE team.

Do not hire these people if you’re in a condo. Had a leak between units and our HOA wanted us to coordinate first. Neighbors hired them. Every interaction I had these people were off-putting. In our building the financial responsibility depends on which unit the pipe services. They were way too concerned with making sure they were getting their money. They wanted someone to pay up front. Ended up having the HOA hire someone that theyve worked with before and the HOA will charge whoever is responsible.

I was a little doubtful at first. I had reached Power Plumbing through Plumbers911, and the overnight answering service they used was unhelpful and a little rude.

Luckily when Ray called back the next day, things were dramatically better. Bob was able to help out later that afternoon and was extremely friendly and helpful. He went out of his way to explain what he was doing and instructed me on how to do some basic servicing and repairs of my own. I'm glad I was able to find them, and I'll definitely be calling them in the future with any plumbing needs.

Jason did a fabulous job today, quickly solving multiple plumbing issues. Not only did he resolve them, but he let me tag and along and watch, so I could learn.

He improved kitchen water flow by fixing a clogged diverter under the sink, he tightened down some loose fixtures that were hard to access, he un-seized a stuck shower cartridge, he diagnosed a problem with another faucet cartridge so I could order the part and fix it myself, and he answered questions about my water heater.

I fancy myself a weekend plumber, and I can replace cartridges and anode rods. So I like to think I know enough to be dangerous...and I think Jason is a great, highly professional plumber.

He made himself available before arriving for a phone consultation, so I could do some minor plumbing work myself, in preparation for his visit. (In other words, he helped me reduce the cost of the plumbing visit.) He also made me smarter by explaining additional products and techniques I should use for my own plumbing fixes.

I will definitely hire him again.
