My 2 nd floor bath was suddenly leaking into the downstairs closet and hall. I called several plumbers and either they wanted money to just come look at my problem (What ever happened to free estimates?) or they came and asked too much. I called Pittman Plumbing and told them my problem. The plumbers came out in a few hours. Looked at the problem and gave me a quote of $990. The only other quote I got was more than twice that. Kenneth and Jamal impressed me with their knowledge of what needed doing so I hired them to do the repair. They both worked very hard for about 5 hours or so. They did a really good job and even fixed a leak I had from my sink hot water feed without being asked. This company is now my plumbers for life! Great job, guys. Thanks a bunch!

First experience and they will be our first call from now on. Our building had a sewer line backup and Hugh was able to come out with his team quickly to assess the issue. It ended up being an issue with how the sewer lines were built and while not easy to hear, Hugh laid out a detailed reasoning and plan to carefully excavate small areas inside and outside the building to uncover and fix the issue. Now we know our sewer system lines are correct and they can be serviced quickly and easily now if there is another backup (which can happen in a multi condo building). Jordan and his crew who did the work were prompt, professional, informative, and communicated often. The entire team turned our nightmare into peace of mind in only a few days. I wouldn’t call anyone else first from now on.

If I could award 6 or 7 Stars, I would -- everyone associated with the VDB team is magnificent.

We live in a 120+ year old building; last week, we experienced a leak in the drain for our washer -- and water found its way into the apartment of our downstairs neighbor.

I immediately phoned VanDerBosh, who had previously completed a project for our condo association.

The VanDerBosch team was superb. I took some photos and shared them with Hugh, who walked me through the likely and necessary repairs; I appreciated that he understood the complexity of older buildings and pipes, etc. Our appointment was scheduled for later this week. Still, the office team -- knowing that we would be without laundry service in our apartment -- phoned me late Friday to say they could make some adjustments to their schedule and could be available at 8:00 am this morning.

Andrew and Nick arrived this morning and completed the work by early afternoon. They kept me informed throughout the project, inviting me to see their steps and explaining the course of action to fix the leak in the drain line that ran from the washer to the stack. I learned a great deal as the patient walked me through each step.

The half-bath/washer room is just off my home office, so I greatly appreciated how much they covered and protected the office space during their work—superb attention to detail.

And, while undertaking this project, they noticed that the P-Trap under the sink had a crack in it -- and, as they were wrapping the project up and moving things back into place, they opened the cabinet draw and said, "we just wanted to let you know that we took care of that for you. It would have been a problem at some point." That's customer service.

Repairs are never inexpensive, and when we're all working hard for each dollar we earn, it's essential that the places we work with value this.
