Madden installed a flood control system for us when we bought our house 12 years ago. We haven’t had any water seepage or flooding issues at all. Today we had an issue with the pump and I called. They sent someone out on the same day, located the problem and replaced the pumps all within a couple of hours. Definitely recommend them.

I have used Madden Sewer and Drain many times. This last time I unfortunately had to use them for an ejector pump failure. They were amazing and so responsive. I was freaking out and they pulled a crew off another job that was not emergent and got to me within the hour. They had the problem handled and replaced the pump immediately. I asked them for a referral to a restoration company and the Madden plumber, Daniel gave me a card he had for Protech. I got an estimate from them and from one other restoration company and hired Protech. They are amazing. Superb to work with. Madden is an excellent business to work with and absolutely A+ caliber and their referral was just as good. Thank you so much, Madden!!

Kevin & Sean from Madden Sewer did a wonderful service at my house. Had to have our catch basin rebuilt. First they explained to us the reason for the basin. Other contractors just wanted to do away with it but gave no reason except it was easier for them. It took their crew 4 days to complete the job, and we couldn’t be happier with the result. Also, they did a good cleanup of the area. Highly recommend this contractor for anything related to sewer and drainage. Many thanks.

Was excited to use this company as I live a couple of blocks away. When scheduling the appointment I was feel clear about my set up and what was happening. I made it clear I was in a condo and had a vertical washer and dryer stacked upon one another. She said that is not a problem. I said I don’t want any work done just looking for an estimate. She said that is not a problem.

Day of- two guys show up. Peeked around and said they couldn’t really tell what was going on because the washer and dryer are stacked. Well…duh I shared this when I called and was told this wouldn’t be a problem. They said they can’t move it. Okay???!

They then asked for a glass of water and poured it down the drain. While they are walking out the door the guy yells “this was a service call” ummmm… no I literally asked for an estimate and got nothing but a cup of water down the pipes and still nothing fixed. They then sent me an email billing me for $125 dollars.

I called to explain what happened and I did not consent to any work….which remind you they just took a cup of water for $125.The lady said okay she will call me back. Never did and then they keep billing me.

Madden Sewer & Drain is quick to schedule visits. I use them for routine routing on my older 2 flat bldg and have depended on them for a couple of bad situations too. I believe they are very competent and honest so I appreciate working with them.

I had a fantastic experience with Madden. They came to find a sewer gas smell in my top-floor condo unit and were able to identify the source (which was on the bottom floor) and make the repair. Kevin was very knowledgeable and was able to explain things to me in an understandable way. His crew was also very kind and hard-working. Overall for the work they did, I think they were fairly reasonable.

Have a sewer gas smell in your home? Definitely hire these guys to find its source after you've exhausted making sure your p-traps are filled, etc.

Madden are amazing! I had a plumbing emergency and first called a national brand. They tried to sell me $3500-$11,000 in parts and repairs that were NOT needed. They left without doing any actual work. Madden plumbers came the next day and quickly fixed the problem for a fair price. I will always use Madden!

There is no sewer company better than Madden. We have used them for years and they are as great now as they were back then. Their prices are fair and better yet they solve the problem. Recently had a big back up in the basement of a building I own. They came out right away. Diagnosed the issue , gave me a quote and started the next day. The blockage was large and heavy over 6 feet in length. They replaced the pipe, poured more concrete and cleaned up. 2 day job In and out. I can't say enough great things about this company.

I recently hired Madden Sewer & Drain to do a "Sewer Scope" on a piece of real estate I was looking at buying. I didnt have much time, but these guys came out quick, dropped the line, and discovered a major problem. Their work prevented me from multiple thousands in undiscovered repairs. They even took a video of their work so that the person I was buying from would understand the situation. These guys are great, I recommend them to anyone.

Madden is fantastic! We've used them for our building to replace two sump pumps. They were professional and performed a high quality repair.

Madden Sewer and Drain installed flood control for two buildings. Due to a leaking foundation, our basement was flooded. From Sean's explaination of the job, I could tell they have a lot of experience. They did a great job on our drain tile system. Now the basement is dry and hasn't flooded since. Jesus and his team were very professional and did great work. Travis from service team was very polite and was very patient in answering questions. He did a very good job in service & I was very satisfied.

A drain at back of our house was backed up with sewerage. Madden came quickly, swiftly diagnosed the issue, and fixed it. The workers were polite and communicated well. Exactly what you want from a service provider. It’s hard to tell if the price was reasonable, but the cost of sewerage in my basement would have been at least 20 times higher (having dealt with a grey water flood just weeks before). For me that’s a great deal!

I was satisfied. I needed the line rodded. The last time was about 8 years ago. They did what they said they were going to do. No extra frills or strong arming me to do stuff I don't need. It is a family owned business. Three generations moving up the ranks. And peace of mind. What's not to like?

I hired Madden Sewer as result of the flooding that impacted my neighborhood July 2023. I had over 30 inches of water throughout my 1300 sq ft basement. That's a lot of water. I am very happy with the service and final results of the work they did, which involved putting in sewer check valves and 2 pumps. While I am not 100% sure how effective it will be, this option is better, cheaper and less disruptive than converting to an overhead sewer when you have a finished basement with a bathroom. I think I am ready for the next big and hard rain.

My appointment was set up a few days after I called. The team arrived on time. The technician, Austin, was personable and professional. He diagnosed the problem quickly. He rodded the cleanout sewer line, pulled out a small amount of tree roots and cleared the clog in about 20 minutes.

Cost: $475 (I would not describe the cost for a job of this size as affordable or reasonable.)
Warranty: 60 days

I thought the great reviews for Madden came from Next Door. I only mention that because I’d be more inclined to rely on what neighbors say about their experiences with service providers. For that reason, and because I was in too much of a hurry to get the clog cleared is why I did not do my normal due diligence and get estimates from other businesses. My mistake was a very costly mistake that I will not likely make in the future.

Completed the job but also accidentally disconnected our hot water on a Friday and no response to repeated outreach until Monday. Forced to scramble for a solution, and no real attempt by Madden to make it right afterward.

Madden installed our building's extensive flood control system and they service it reliably every year. It's easy to schedule the appointments and the workers are always extremely professional.
