I initially called a company (Goode Plumbers, I believe) due to a strong gas odor in my apartment—even my painter could smell it. They came with a detector, said all was fine, and left. But the smell persisted. That’s when I called Eddie Sandoval, and the difference was night and day.

Eddie arrived promptly and took a hands-on approach, using simple soapy water to identify the leak—which was real. He fixed the valve on the spot. Beyond that, he checked and upgraded plumbing in my bathrooms, and when the washer/dryer installers botched the vent, I called Eddie again. He returned quickly and fixed that too.

Eddie was incredibly professional, kind, and responsive—understanding the urgency of a gas leak, and going above and beyond for my home. If you want someone reliable who truly cares, call Eddie. I can’t recommend him enough!

I was in a tight spot on a Saturday afternoon with a tenant’s kitchen faucet actively leaking. I was able to rely on Sandoval Plumbing to show up before the end of the day and to fix the problem. They charged a reasonable and fair price. I will call Sandoval first the next time I have a plumbing problem. They are great.

Super fast response. My basement was flooding and they responded very quickly with a phone call as well as somebody coming out right away in the evening time. Very knowledgeable, very clean, Courteous I highly recommend!!

STAY AWAY! They will rip you off. My grandmother hired them to come unclog a drain. She paid before the plumber left, he didn't provide her with a receipt and said he couldn't provide one. Now they're calling saying she never paid. They have no morals and are scammers.

We had a very bad experience with Ashland Plumbing when Ron came out to connect a refrigerator water line and check a seal on a toilet. At Ron's suggestion we also replaced all of the inner mechanisms in the toilet tank (flappers, valves, et cetera) on two Toto toilets as a preventative maintenance measure. Turns out after connecting the fridge, Ron never turned the water back on. After we figured this out and turned the water back on, we discovered that the connection Ron made leaked. Also, the toilet that was working fine when Ron arrived, was now running non-stop since the replaced the innards. We had him come back out and he charged us for fixing his error with the refrigerator and the toilet. They also charged not just for the time he was here, but for the driving time from their shop. Less than $150 in materials and $900 in labor. When we objected to the fee for the second service trip, they were very argumentative, rude and unaccommodating. Be aware that they will start charging $166/hour when they get in their vehicle and not when they arrive.

I called Cathy about 2 weeks ago to get a rate for someone to come out to take a look at my toilet. She told me they charged $169 for the 1st 30 mins and $169/hr thereafter. However, when I got my bill, I was charged for a truck service fee and a fee for using a rod. She took off the truck fee when I complained but she said that I only asked for rates and not what it would cost when I originally asked for a guy to come out. This strikes me as not being honest about the intent of getting a price. With such an attitude towards service, I cannot recommend them any less.

The best, most experienced company in the Chicagoland area. As a former property manager, they were my go to in any and all situations, emergency or non!
