I would not recommend using their service for several reason and based on a recent experience I had with them:
1. The person who came to my place to help with rodding the main sewage was rude and unprofessional.
2. Although I already told him the problem and the fact that the way to get there is through the street main basin, he came over and charged me the consultation fee of 100$ just to confirm what I already told him.
3. They are not honest. He told me the city would not allow using the main basin at all and would fine me 50k$ if we do so. I called Evanston Building Department the next day and they said they usually don’t have any problem with that as long as they get a call and be informed.
4. They are not good at what they do. He didn’t check to see what the other options would be to rod the pipe. He just wanted to get the 100$ and get out ASAP. I called another company an hour later, the evaluated the sewage system in detail and determined a way to get the job done and fixed the issue on the same day (on the weekend).

They came out promptly just after a 5-6 am phone call and inspected the issue. While we get the building owners approval for repairs the plumber was kind enough to let us know which facilities we could still use. I than them for their kindness prompt response, professionalism and especially honesty. Thank you

I Needed A New Sump Pump And My Mainline Rodded Installed And A Young Plumbing Technician Came Within The Hour And Rodded My Mainline Cleared It Up And Installed A New Sump Pump By Zoller And All Pvc Pipe Installation. The Young Man Was Polite And Honest. I Love The Work He Did. I Recommend Rodding Rooter For Any Plumbing Job

Be sure and check their Better Business Bureau rating before considering using them. Since they've ignored my complaint, the BBB has advised me to seek legal representation. We'll see.

"Only Once" must refer to the number of times consumers will use them. Outrageously overpriced, and the technician upped the agreed-upon charge $100 AFTER completing the work. THEN he handed me his personal card and said, "Next time call me directly. The company charges too much. I would have charged you [significantly less]." They are borderline criminal.

Service man from Only Once Plumbing Service was very courteous, showed up on time, provided me with a variety of options, I did not feel pressured by any hard sell techniques, and answered all of my questions and addressed all my concerns. I would definitely use them again.

Service tech used a blade that was the full diameter of my sewage pipe hence it was more difficult for him to snake. But his efforts ensure that my waste line is completely cleaned out. A smaller blade would have been easier for him but he chose to do the job fully and correctly which I appreciate.

This company is a scam. The guy they sent to fix my leak came hours past the time frame I was given by their office and then the plumber said the company didn't give him the proper information to fix the issue and he left. The tech himself was very nice and professional, but now this scam of a company is trying to charge me a service fee for showing up without the proper materials and leaving right away. Nothing was even touched. I would highly NOT recommend this company.

What a wonderful experience with Francis when he came to work on our leaking problem. He immediately looked at my leaking faucet and repaired and replaced the kitchen faucet. Francis was professional, knowledgeable, and, went over and above his job and finished the job on time. Excellent service and great pricing!

Francis is the best plumber around. We are a church with old buildings and he is always there when we call weather the job is big or small. He is not only professional but quick to respond and never over charges. Would definitely recommend this company.

There is nothing as stressful as having a plumbing issue. I was having a leakage with our main inlet valve that had reduced the pressure at the taps.Francis was able to quickly diagnose the problem and quickly fixed it for hundreds less than what a competitor company had charged. I am very happy with the service offered by Francis from Only Once Plumbing Service, 6404 N Fairfield Ave. I think this is the only plumbing service company that offers same-day service in this area. I also found their prices to be favorable. The issue with our water pipes was sorted in an instant and I was left a happy customer.

Fred was amazing! I loved how knowledgeable he was. He identified the issue immediately and was able to fix it in no time. Hopefully we don't have anymore plumbing issues, but if we do we'll hire Only Once Plumbing Service again in the future. Only Once Plumbing Service is the best, 5 stars.

Francis did a fantastic job in our house. He is very professional, honest and extremely efficient. We called him at 7:00 pm and before 9:00 pm we had two major problems fixed in our house for a very reasonable cost. I would definitely keep his card around for future plumbing issues and recommend him to all my friends.
