Pete came to disassemble our sink and replace it after new countertops were installed. He was very professional, courteous and competent and took the time to explain everything. I’m extremely happy with G’s R and will continue to be a loyal customer for years.

My church's boiler wasn't working. Pete came out and diagnosed the problem. They had to order the part but as soon as it was in he came and fixed the boiler. He explained things well and was a nice guy. It took less time than estimated. Erica from the office was nice and helpful also. Both were professional, helpful and friendly. I definitely recommend G's R plumbing.

Called this morning and was able to have someone at my house within 30 mins to help with our pipe problem. Pete came in with booties, mask, and gloves on. With all the covid stuff going on this was much appreciated. Pete made sure to introduce himself to everyone in the house and had our names down instantly. He made sure that before he did anything that he explained what he would be doing and why he was doing it. Pete was extremely professional from start to finish. I even asked for him to work on something additional that wasn’t part of the original work order and he didn’t hesitate to accommodate that request. If I ever have plumbing issues again, I know exactly who I will be calling and it has everything to do with Pete and the work he did today to get all of our plumbing problems fixed. Thank you.

Pete came to the rescue today, called Gs R plumbing and they made sure somebody got out to my house today. Everything this guy did was with the upmost professionalism, and all around great experience. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of. This is the only place I will recommend to somebody, Pete was great. I got very lucky to have him come to my house. Great great company!!!!!

Had a gas line leak at a coupling and they sent Tyler out on his very first job with the company and he got it done in little over an hour. He was polite, fast, and went above and beyond other companies would. Would definitely recommend!

I called G's R Plumbing to analyze an issue pertaining to our pipe and septic tank. G's R Plumbing sent Pete to the site and it was a pleasant experience. He was timely in arrival, knowledgeable, affable, and patient in answering all of my questions (many of them dumb). G's R is a reputable company and I'm sure everyone that they dispatch to jobs is capable and knowledgeable, but I had a good experience with Pete and I will request for him specifically should we need assistance in the future. Also, as an honorable mention, kudos to the woman that answered my call and coordinated Pete's visit. She was nice, showed an appropriate level of contrition and urgency for our situation, and she was able to move some things around so that she could send someone out to us sooner than originally planned. Kicking myself that I don't remember her name.

*Note: I'm not sure what the cost of this service was, nor what the market rate is for the same service by other plumbing companies. I'm only speaking to the actual service we received and the particular person that provided it. Also, the only reason why I didn't rate it with five stars is due to a prior matter involving G's R for a completely different project. Nothing too bad, but I was gathering quotes for another project, from earlier this year, which required piping and gas; G's R was the highest quote by such a margin, that it was a complete outlier (I mean...a complete, complete outlier). I know that event has nothing to do with my recent experience with them, but it's my reason nonetheless. Fair or unfair. Still seems like a good company though.

Had a outside leak over a HOLIDAY WEEKEND 🫣 Pete was very kind and came as quickly as possible. They work was done professionally and correct. Pete was also very kind with our child who wanted to tag along the entire time!

Pete the Plumber is absolutely amazing! Fast, courteous, just a good guy, all-around. Definitely ask for him when you call. He’s happy to explain what’s happening with your plumbing and how it will be fixed. Even though he’s quick, he still plays close attention to detail and won’t leave a mess. Pete came yesterday and did a great job! He also found a defect in our toilet that could have been a much larger problem sooner than later, and helped us get what was needed for the warranty claim. We have used G’s R Plumbing for over 20 years and highly recommend them. Pete was great!

Pete is the best!
I'm a manager of a hotel and we had a big job coming up and we needed help ASAP. We had 104 vanities that were being replaced and we needed plumbing completed quickly and efficiently. We had limited time available and a lot of plumbing that needed to be done. I have dealt with numerous plumbers before and I can honestly say Pete was the best. He was willing to do whatever it took to get the job done. He arrived early, stayed late, and even worked the weekends. He was always happy and friendly. I will definitely recommend him to anyone needing plumbing services.

Incompetent at rodding a sewer.
Note: I reached out privately to have this matter settled before posting

I first used their services 2 years ago when my sewer backed up due to roots. They came out promptly but the next day I was backed up again. They came back out and cleared my line for no additional charge. I chalked it up to maybe an apprentice being sent out the first time.

I used their rodding service again early this January. Within less than a month I was backed up again. I reached out to complain and also inquire what their actual process for rodding a sewer was. I suspected they did not use the correct size knives for root clearing. I've done service plumbing myself and I am quite familiar with how to rod a sewer. This complaint went nowhere so I called a different plumber.

This plumber not only rodded my sewer but also camera'd it for half the price G&R charged me. He was also able to confirm my suspicion that they did not use the correct size knives as he clearly saw roots that were broken but not scraped from the inside of the pipe. Rodding is service plumbing 101 if they can't manage that then I would hesitate to hire them for anything else.

To G&R if you want this review to disappear you can refund me the 539 dollars you charged me to do a job incorrectly. Get your house in order and stop embarrassing the trade.

We called on the phone and spoke with Erica initially she was very nice and helpful. She sent Jake out promptly and he was very professional and courteous and had our drawings and permit taken care of within the day. The day of the installation Pete arrived right on time and was exactly what I needed that early in the morning. He was fun, personable, knowledgeable, and kept us informed about what he was doing and why. I could not be happier with this group of people and will definitely recommend them to any of my friends for their plumbing needs. Thanks again G's R

We have used G's R for a couple of jobs with no issue. In April of 2023 they installed a $2800 high pressure water heater for us. After the plumber left I went upstairs and turned on the bathroom faucet and no water came out. I called them back and they said someone would be out the next morning. The plumber came out and unscrewed the aerator and cleaned out some sediment. He said that when they turned the water off and back on for the install the previous day the sediment was dislodged and clogged the aerator. I thanked him and he left. I later got a bill for $125 for a 5 minute fix that was caused by the work they did the day before ($2800 worth of work). When I called to ask about the bill they told me that it was not related to the water heater install. The gal told me the manager would call me. I spoke to him and he understood and said we did not have to pay the $125. Fast forward 2 years...I called to schedule an appointment today and was told they can not do any work for us until we paid the past due balance of $125 on the account. I explained that the manager I spoke to said we did not need to pay the $125 and revisited the entire situation with the gal. She said I am just doing my job and cannot schedule any work until the balance is paid. She clearly understood how unhappy I was about this but no offer was made to talk to a manager or supervisor. I assumed they stood by the manager's word 2 years ago and deleted the charge since we have not heard from them in 2 years. I suggest you get everything in writing from this company.

Pete & Darvon were my installers for a tankless hot water system and they did a great job. Their workmanship is top notch, the routing of all lines is super clean and well supported as seen in the pic. I asked them to tie in the condensate line with the existing one for the A/C and they did as requested. They routed the exhaust outlet in a manner that was visually unobtrusive on the outside which was greatly appreciated. It was clear to me in talking to them that they took great pride in their craft and the installation affirms that, which in my opinion, is uncommon these days. The icing on the cake, considering the amount of work that was involved on this install is that G’s R price was very reasonable. They will be my go to for any future work.

On 7/1/2025, I had this company send a technician (Jason N.) to check why my water heater pilot light was out. I was aware of and agreed to the $152 service charge for the visit.

The technician was only there about 15–20 minutes and admitted he had only been on the job 5–6 weeks. The company later confirmed that, but stated he has maby years of experience else where. He did not seem very knowledgeable, asked my adult sons questions instead of providing solutions, and ultimately told me that the “best option” was to replace my water heater.

Afterward, I called the company to request another technician, but communication was poor— they said, I missed a call, and when I followed up, a few days later, I was told they could have come back out. However, by then, we were able to relight the pilot for free. That was over two months ago, and my water heater is still working perfectly with no issues.

I was not offered a refund, and while I paid because that was the agreement, I honestly felt taken advantage of. The service provided did not match the fee charged, and the customer service experience left much to be desired.

Maybe this was just an off day for them, but in my opinion, I cannot recommend their services based on this experience.

The solution I would have thought was fair, would have been for them to only charge 1/2. Even thought I essentially paid for no service and incorrect information.
