Our HVAC blower motor stopped working last night. Called Garwoods and they had a tech out within an hour. Replaced a bad capacitor, checked refrigerant levels, and checked up on the system all for $200. Kyle, the technician, was friendly and knowledgeable.

We bought our home a little over 2 years ago. We had Garwoods here the first year to check our AC unit. It was not working correctly. We did not have to wait a week for them to come take a look. Since then we have had Garwoods do 6 month checks on our AC and Furnace. We recently needed to make a decision about our 26 year old Furnace. Shane and Joey are always informative about all options, including a wait and see approach. We had planned to add a better filtration system and while Joey was doing that we all got to talking and looking at the unit. It really was way past its prime even though it was still working at the moment. We had Joey draw up 3 different options for us. He did all the measuring and in the end we settled on a 5 stage AC and new Furnace. While it was being installed (Joey and Kytel) both Shane and Joe dropped by for a bit. Joe had worked on the unit MANY years ago. He saw it sitting out front. :) This truly is a family business. They treat us like friends of the family. Always have. From the call to Erin at the office to the job being done everyone is professional, knowledgable, and has integrity. All in a days work for Garwood's. This new unit is so much more efficient than the one we had before. It has made a huge difference during this heat both in our comfort and our power bill! We also were able to take advantage of a few rebates. We are happy to recommend Garwood's to anyone who asks us about Heating and Cooling services.

The obvious choice for HVAC in Edwardsville. I reached out to Garwood's after a couple of failed attempts at using other vendors, and I'm glad I did. For the initial inspection, Joey was very thorough and detailed, talking me through all of the issues I had with my current system, how they might affect me going forward, and what the various options were for mitigating them. He then put together four different bid proposals for me so I could pick and choose what worked best. On the installation day, each of the three service men made it a point to shake my hand and introduce themselves. The work was done the same day and everything is of high quality. My power bill dropped significantly due to the new equipment. I highly recommend Garwoods and will be using them again in the future.

Garwood's team installed a new furnace and AC unit last December, their price was reasonable - I checked online - and this week they did a follow-up on the AC unit. I highly recommend their service to anyone - a local company with technicians who know their job. They get five stars from me!

They give honest and fair assessments. Also for a very reasonable charge we get our HVAC checked before winter and summer. Garwood’s is A++!

Garwoods has taken care of our HVAC system for some time now. From the emergency AC repair of the old unit when we moved into our new home years ago to helping us choose the best size units for our heating and air conditioning needs when they had to be replaced. Now Garwoods maintains our investment with biannual check ups. Everyone at Garwoods is helpful, knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. We never have to wonder if we will get the best service possible. We know we will. Garwoods is a reliable, honest, family business. They always go the extra mile.
