Tim Senior Tech is great! He is very professional knowledgeable and courteous. He makes sure to explain what’s really happening and if he can actually repair your appliance. Even though my overall experience with Sears has been a Nightmare and very frustrating working with Tim to resolve the matter has helped! He did fix my refrigerator after 7 weeks of being broke!
Carl was very courteous and professional. I explained what was happening and he knew exactly what to do to correct the problem. .The only problem with this company is that you never talk to a live person. Everything is done on line. The address they list is for the old Sears building. The first appointment was canceled and I did not receive a call explaining why it was canceled. That goes with not being able to talk to anyone.
I purchased my dryer from Best Buy and when I was using it it smelled like something was on fire or there was an electrical problem. The dryer was still under warranty so I called Best Buy and they arranged for a service man from the Sears repair service. I was notified multiple times via texts and e-mails about my appointment. Doug R., the repairman, assigned to my case arrived on time and was friendly and knowledgeable. He checked the vents, interrior of the dryer and removed the top so he could see the drum. He discovered that the dyer was working fine but the 30 Amp wall receptacle that the dryer was plugged into was faulty. So the good news was that my dryer was fine but the bad news was I needed an electrician to replace the receptacle and plug. Doug shut off the circuit breaker to the dryer so there would be no chance of fire. I can highly recommend Doug as a great repair person and diagnostician.
This is the worst customer service ever. Called 5 times, had an appointment and the tech was a no show even after taking off work. Do yourself a favor and do not use this company. They know very little English and read from a script. Everytime you call you verify the same info each time and it is no sir yes sir etc. Literally reading from a script with no help. No wonder sears went out of business. Stop hiring call centers utside the US. Use American call centers so they understand what you need and can help the customer.
While my Samsung refrigerator may be no good, Douglas' service call was A++!
Joshua was prompt, friendly, professional, very knowledgeable and diagnosed our washers issue quickly. It turned out to be a plumbing problem not the washer which concludes what I already knew - Kenmore appliances are well made and dependable. While he was here, he gave the washer some TLC and everyone needs TLC from time to time, even an inanimate object. Thanks!
