One of the ladies came to the house to do a detailed deep cleaning to get the house ready for market. We came up later to check on it and there was spilled cleaner in the kitchen floor, she hadn’t cleaned the inside of the cabinets as I was told she would.There was dirt in the floor, the grill front to the refrigerator had not been touched, and the cold air vent was still dirty. I gave 3 stars because they did send someone else out to fix it. She did work on those areas, but it still was not what I would call a detailed, deep cleaning. The second lady did clean the inside of the cabinets which looked much better, but you could still see dirt on the refrigerator vent and the cold air vent. I noticed there was dust on the walls in the den when I checked the second lady’s work, so it was obvious neither lady wiped down the walls which I was also told they would do. Certainly not worth the money.

The maids showed up and we explained what things were needing be done. This was proceeded by hardly cleaning anything in the time they were here. The checklist items they cleaned were not clean and had to be cleaned again. They took a 30 minute break to smoke after being here for around an hour. They then cleaned for a small amount of time more and left. I would never recommend this service to anyone. This sentiment would be shared by all of my family that was here to help move!

Good job but I think the price was a little high for what was performed. They vacuumed and mopped hard floors, cleaned the bathrooms and changed linens for master bedroom. Everything was perfect and I have no complaints about the two women who did the job. I just feel the service charged too much. I wonder how much of my money actually went to the workers.

The workers were professioals always coming ready to work. As they are becoming more familiar with the details, the service has become very good. As I continue to work with the services, the better the outcome has been. Hard workers and eager to listen to you for any advice, missed directed areas or just concerns. They have been leaving my home spotless and clean.

I have had our home cleaned with Merry Maid Service for several years and I have confidence in knowing when the girls are in our home the job will be done expertly and our home will be absolutely clean. The team that cleaned for me did an excellent job - they were timely, responsive to my needs and my house is sparkling.

I'm actually surprised I wasn't prepared for how disappointed I am after our service call. We used to use Merry Maids several years ago but stopped when their quality declined. Because we had a very busy month we scheduled a deep cleaning on our bathrooms and kitchen. The cleaning was neither deep nor clean.

On inspection, I found the kitchen cabinets had barely been touched. The primary maid indicated she would clean them again. I went upstarts to look at the bathrooms while she did that and was able to use my fingernails to remove some grime and soap scum from the showers. I notified the primary and she went upstairs to supervise the recleaning. I went downstairs to the kitchen and checked the cabinets. Ended up pulling out my own cleaner and a cloth and cleaned them myself. I went back up to the bathrooms and there was marginal improvement in the one bathroom. It was obvious a chemical was used in the master shower as I could see where it was sprayed... Nice clean white lines across the base where the chemical was placed, but no scrubbing was done at all. The walls still had build up. In frustration, I had them leave and ended up doing another cleaning by myself instead of focusing on other things that needed to be completed.

I waited to review because I didn't want to send the wrong message. I needn't have bothered waiting because the situation only deteriorated over the next week.

In the estimate we'd requested windows and the track on our sliding glass doors be deep cleaned. Not done. We'd asked for a thorough cleaning on the oven and stove top. On request, I even ran a self cleaning cycle on the oven. Wiped out, but still with matter remaining on the bottom and door. Wanted toilets cleaned and scrubbed to remove as much hard water stains as possible. Stains less evident, but still there. I probably should have specifically asked not to make me have to buy two new toilet seats, but the discoloration and pitting make them visually unappealing.

I paid for this service and look on it as a learning experience...I should have complained immediately (to comply with their 24-hour satisfaction guarantee) instead of waiting to cool down first. Merry Maids in O'Fallon Illinois is unreliable and not worth the expense. I learned my lesson and will never use them again for any reason and will not recommend them to anyone I know.

Bought a home and highly allergic to cats. Needed some help with a deep cleaning and their team helped me to get to the point where I can breathe. Thankful for their services.

Staff should be more knowledgeable to better understand the damage that chemicals can cause when they come in to contact with marble. Spray bottles that were used left etching rings all over marble floor.

Merry Maids have been one of the best decisions I have made. My team is wonderful and the administrative staff have been great. My house is becoming a home! The best part is I am beginning to enjoy leisure time. It’s so nice to have house caught up!

I especially like that she put on our sheets correctly. We have a California split king bed with the ability to raise and lower top and bottom of bed. I’m getting older and really can’t manage it any longer. She makes sure they are all the way on preventing them from slipping loose when we raise the bed.

We have had several Merry Maid attendants here in our office. Alii has been the easiest to work with. She is very professional and continually busy. She is awesome and our staff really like her.

Staff was professional and kind, however they missed a lot of spots and when the supervisor came to do a walk through she agreed, but didn’t have any cleaning supplies on her and tried to fix what they missed. I give them 3 stars for the attempt but after paying over $500 I am still cleaning behind them,

Since it was my first time using their services they require a deep cleaning fee, costing me $360 dollars to have each room thoroughly cleaned. Once they were done, I came home and found dust in common areas and they didn’t vacuum the dining room rug. After realizing this, I called the office and the lady I talked with was very nice and glad to hear honest feedback. She had the team sent out again. Once they left for a second time, some areas still hadn’t been dusted. I called again and the staff member was very understanding and didn’t charge me the full price. I will attempt to give their services another try since the office staff members were so understanding!
