Unfortunately this company was one of the worst we have ever worked with for any reason on any part of our house. In total, out washer/dryer required 5 scheduled visits to diagnose and fix and then fix again because it wasn't fixed the first time. Each and everyone one, not only were they late, but I had to call to even ask when they'd be coming.
One of them, he didn't show at all because he was booked over an hour away prior to us and finished his previous job after 7pm. One visit the guy was at our house until after 9pm because he didn't show up until well after 7pm. On one of the calls, the reception person, upon telling me the repair man would not be making his scheduled window (after the window was already passed - no communication beforehand), was extremely unprofessional. He sighed audibly each time I asked a follow up question and he was extremely rude when I asked him to contact the repairman for an estimate on his arrival time (again, this is after 7pm). When I spoke to a manager and expressed my frustration about my experience the manager was also unprofessional, deflected constantly, offered no customer service, and tried to tell me it was actually my fault they were unable to fix it the first time. By the way, when he came back it wasn't "our fault" at all - he just missed the reason it was broken the first time, or second time, or third time.
In truth, the only good thing about the company was the friendliness of the repairman. He was very nice. I hope he finds a different company to work for because the one he works for now is absolute trash.

I originally had a five star review because he fixed both within a few hours and had the parts in his truck.

The tech came at the beginning of the three hour service window which was nice. We had two problems - a leak with our dishwasher and a leak with our fridge. But after his first visit, the dishwasher continues to leak. I think I paid for a part that I didn’t actually need. They have a 30 day warranty on the labor, so luckily I was able to have him come back to try again to fix the dishwasher free of charge. Buttttt even after the second visit it’s still leaking.

I paid $800 for the following description on the invoice: “ Frigidaire dishwasher water valve assembly replacement. Draine line fix. Frigidaire Refrigerator defrost sensor replacement, Drain line and evaporator deep cleaning.”

Vlad was prompt, worked quickly, identified problem with our refrigerator & returned the next day with the part & quickly he installed it. Vlad was efficient with the phone ap for
the receipt.

Repairman arrived on time. He did an excellent job of repairing our sub zero refrigerator and he was very curteous. Would definitely recommend UltraFix.

I made a call at 3:38 pm and the technician was here at 4:30. Very polite and kind. Went right to work-unfortunately the repair was expensive compared to the actual refrigerator. But had to make sure it wasn’t something simple. He was great. He spent the time to determine what the issue was. Thank you all for the great response. If I have another appliance need I will make this company my first call.

Elmir was very professional and thorough. He kept his workplace clean and was very organized. I highly recommend him.

Ali, service technician was very nitrous and professional. He quickly identified the issue with our clothes washer and gave us a repair price quote. Before we could ask him, he also gave us recommendations on a new washer. We highly recommend him.

UltraFix Appliance Repair came to fix the defrost sensor on my refrigerator. The technician was very well mannered. The charge was $440 for a sensor that cost $39. I felt I was taken advantage of.
I contacted the company and they said they would issue a refund of $99. That was 7/29/25.
In less than 30 days, my refrigerator is showing ice in the defrost line again, and I have received no refund.
Pretty sure I was taken advantage of.

Dimitri was absolutely the best. Kind, courteous and quick. He came back the next day with the parts we needed for him to finish the job and now our dryer works like new

I contacted Ultrafix on a Friday afternoon because my fridge wasn’t cooling properly. The online booking system was easy to use and I was able to get an appointment for the next morning. The technician, Alex, arrived a bit early to the appointment. He was friendly and very thorough. When he finished, he described the minor repair he had done. He also explained that if this conservative fix did not work, the next step would be much more work and maybe not cost effective. I appreciated his candidness as well as his thoughtfulness in putting everything back in the fridge. Highly recommend!

I have a 23 year old range exhaust (replacement cost about $2500). Its controls were broken. Several repair outfits came in and left without being able to help, as the replacement for the broken controller was not available (obsolete model). UltraFix sent its technician Gadzhi who researched, found a way to re- build a complex electronic controller ( about 2 hours of meticulous work), and now my 23 - year old range hood is fully functional.

Update: as of August 1st, my 3rd and final attempt I am finally seeing ice being produce. Igor didn’t look happy to coming back and after Id requested for a senior repairman instead. And yet they still sent him back. He surely wasn't please to return as he hurried in. It was a very awkward situation in the end while he exit; placing the blame instead. Overall, we got ice again.

I am resenting my previous review on July, 15, my 1st service visit. Then a 2nd service dated on July, 18 to affixed frozen ice lining and now, finally a 3rd service call made on July, 25, I still have no ice per my original request. Igor had mentioned ordering parts to replace??? It should have been mentioned during the 1st assessment evaluation. I’d reached out in regarded to this matter and via no response.

So yea, a big hesitation to not use Ultrafix. Customers be aware. I will call Sears representative directly at this point and avoid these types of local business's. I’m very weary trusting local businesses. A not so happy customer of just wanting some ice again. Time to shop for a new refrigerator.

unfortunately, his time here was very brief because it turned out that my washer was so old that there were no parts available. But he was sympathetic to my problem, and at least that made me feel better. He was courteous and worked very efficiently.

Technician came on time, was respectful of my home. He fixed my issue quickly and did a great job !

Fortunately unfortunately I needed a second repair cost. The fortunate part was that Elmir was our technician! He was extremely knowledgeable and thorough. Elmir will be our go to technician from here out.

Came out the next day for a washing machine problem. Turned out to be a simple solution of unplugging machine out of socket and back in (I tried that, ha). Sooo happy to spend $100 on that! Also, he replaced a water line hose in another area. He was super quick and courteous. Didn't speak english but it wasn't a problem since he used a good phone translator app. Only issue I had was cost of replacing the hose with a USED one. I knew before hand it would cost $100 just for them to show up. But it took longer for him to write the invoice than to replace a $20 hose. In my mind I would have paid $50 at most for that. $100 to come out and $50 on replacing a hose. Instead, I paid $200 plus tip. Considering the supply of repair companies... I'll try another one next time.
