Quite an unprofessional practice by Eagle Air. They didn't show up for the appointment that they have scheduled and paid by us via AHS over a month ago. When you call and ask for clarity on their no-show, they easily label the conversation as an argument and disconnect the phone line. They will give you a date again in close to a month's time, and who knows what they will do then?? they can literally give you the same excuse and do a no-show, who knows ... My take is that they do not honor people's scheduled appointments/time/commitment and willing to prioritize on most profitable jobs by cherry-picking the jobs in an overbooked schedule. This is why this company is irresponsible and demonstrates rude behavior, and unprofessionalism, hands down!
Now I read the reviews for Eagle Air more closely, many of the folks have experienced the same poor experience and reported in many google and yelp reviews. I've noticed that most of the incidents occurred were contracted via AHS just as I have experienced.
Just like many others, AHS home warranty somehow still contracts the HVAC maintenance to this company and schedules a date month down. Their excuse was a heat emergency call or something along those lines, and have canceled the appointment with very short or no notice.
Eagle Air should understand people take time and plan for the contractors/technicians to show up in advance, they take the day or morning off to stay at home and these folks tend to think that peoples'/customers' time is not as valuable as to their time and priorities and preferences.
On AHS side, for some reason, they still continue to contract these guys and charge people for pre-season heat checks in advance, yet do not address these issues with time frames when the service is provided. If Eagle Air does this twice to a customer, their pre-season heat checkup will be done in freezing December, and we live in the midwest, ridiculous!! Disappointed.

Had my thermastate changed last year was a simple job. Used them again with my home warranty. The tech is very nice and easy to talk to. However my boyfriend who has been hvac for 15 years and in the Union had to walk this man through how to look inside the furnace. Problem is he never opened up the furnace to look. Looked confused and couldn’t answer when boyfriend threw parts at him and issues. Told me unit was over charged yet never took the Freon out. Said he changed capacitor. Which now makes me wonder if it was even bad and told boyfriend unit was not dirty a bit here n there. So new company came out. Boyfriend told tech on phone the issues and bam needed a new coil as the improper one was installed by original air unit installers who again sent out by warranty company. If I had the money I would never use a warranty company. Nice people here but they need to send thier techs to continue education or hire techs with more experiance. Always read reviews before allowing warranty company to send someone out. I’m sorry I had to write this review but I don’t want anyone else to waste money for a diog and be stuck with now heat or air.

Eagle Air was absolutely great. Not only did they come out and repair my furnace the same day, but Angie the girl in their office kept calling us to update the technicians arrival from previous jobs. When he arrived he was able to get the furnace working temporarily while let went to get a new part and then came back and replaced it the same day. All of this on the coldest day ever.

    THANK YOU EAGLE AIR '!!!!!

Would give them zero stars if I could. The worst contractor I have ever encountered. Was sent by AHS and he tried to get me to buy a new a/c unit after sending a novice technician out to fix the problem. Who despite three visits could not fix it. I called the office and tried to speak to the owner who refused to come on the phone. Finally had another company come in and fix the problem who said there was no need for any replacement. This company and owner are just out to fleece you beware! Use another Hvac company

I was given this provider thru my Home Insurance. The technician said the unit was not fixable and recommended replacing my entire unit. a bunch of add ons were sent over my insurance and a considerable amount was not covered because it was not related to my heating unit. I tried calling and asking for details given i just need my furnace fix. finally, I requested a second opinion and as it turned out my Blower was broken. it was replaced by a different company, and I did not have to pay anything. BE AWARE if you are using your insurance. they will try to scam you!!!!!

We had them out twice for when we had a leak coming from our attic. We used them because they were sent by our home warranty company. Never again will we use them. If our home warranty tries to send them I will request a new company. They couldn’t even figure out what the issue was they said first that if it was our condensation pipe they would have to reroute it which would be a large job. They also said it was a plumbing issue which was completely false because the only plumbing that was in the area was the drain pipe for the tube to leak into. We ended up on our own figuring out the drain tube had come out due to the company that cleaned our vents. Also out condensate pipe had insulation damaged. However I got a second opinion by an actual reputable company and another from a pipe fitter. Both told me to go to Menards and get some insulation tape to wrap it myself for the savings! I did this and I fixed the issue for $30 myself. Tony the manager at eagle air basically stated said call them back if it leaks again and they will be out again. They were out twice and both times didn’t know what they were doing. Avoid this company. I am glad I got a second opinion because I was able to fix it the same day so insurance to could pay to fix the leak damage.

Scam company. Wasn't going to be a customer to a scam.
$3150 in "modifications" to install a furnace. Installation and the furnace was 100% covered by American Home Shield but these guys wanted an extra buck, or 3 thousand.
    BE CAREFUL OF THESE GUYS
Lol 😆 you would have to have a mental issue to go with these guys 🤪

A home inspector found a water leak coming from a humidifier in our rental property. We asked Eagle Air to come out and fix the leak. We received a bill for $299.90 but they had fixed a heater that passed the home inspection! Then they charged us another $149.95 to come out again and fix the leaking humidifier.

In fairness to Eagle, they tried to make it right. Eagle also did an excellent job in diagnosing and replacing our AC unit. They would get 5 Stars for that job as they found the problem that other providers couldn't identify and provided the best value over 5 other bids to replace the unit.

My overall experience with Eagle Air Inc wasn't a good experience and I be informing AHS that won't be using this company for any future HVAC services. Arthur the tech was very rude and disrespectful to me during his service visit. He had the nerve to tell me "He was trying to get home and didn't have time to explain what was going on with the furnace." He also was more concerned with trying to convince me that my furnace had a cracked heat exchanger than trying to determine why the furnace wasn't turning on and heating our home as we had to sleep in our home the night before with NO HEAT! Even after looking at the heat exchangers with his camera and finding no cracks he still insisted that the furnace had a cracked heat exchanger because the flames were slightly rolling backwards when the burners turned on. The furnace did strangely come back on and started operating normally but this wasn't due to Arthur's HVAC diagnosis or repair service. I have no confidence in his assessment of my furnace and believe he showed a high level of incompetence his assessment and customer service skills. I would not recommend him or Eagle Air anyone.

    Update 2 days after service...
I would like to retract any positive thing I said about them.
I now have an issue with flickering lights and power surges after the technicians left my home.
2 days later I am trying to work with Eagle Air to send techs back out to my home to check furnace for loose connections or something that can be contributing to this issue that was non existent until the techs from Eagle Air serviced my furnace.
They are being totally uncooperative and refuse to help. Said I need to call out an electrician.
I now have to spend additional money to fix an issue they caused.
HORRIBLE company. WILL NEVER RECOMMEND to anyone!!!!
They are only getting one star so I can post this review !

Awesome. Thank you! The techs, Anthony & Ed, we're in and out in an hour. They were knowledgeable, professional and polite. Found the problem, fixed it, and didn't try to scam or sell me a bunch of unneeded extra parts or services.
Would and will definitely recommend Eagle Air Inc. to everyone!

This was the company my home warranty company (American Home Shield) assigned for my furnace (failure to launch) problem on this very cold February Friday in Westmont IL.
I was positively impressed by Eagle Air's responsiveness, and Brandon's efficient and correct service.
    My experience:
    (1) My initial anxious call was received by an answering service, not an answering machine. Very Good.
    (2) The call-back was prompt, and positive, in scheduling a service visit for just hours ahead. Excellent.
    (3) Best of all was the service provided by Brandon who assessed the system and correctly analyzed the failure in the launch system. A capacitor was replaced, the system tested, and the furnace operation is now normal. Rejoice.
I sure do appreciate this experience. 2/22/2021

Eagle Air is by far the most unprofessional contractor I have come across. After several attempts, Tony, never returned my calls. They all were working like a headless chicken without having a clue about the problem they are trying to fix at my home. They quoted me the job will take upto 9 hrs for replacing the Furnace whereas the contractor I got the work done did it in about 2 hours with 100% accuracy and efficacy. will NEVER recommend Eagle Air to anyone.

Service person Anthony was curtious and explained cleaning process for hearing system.

I would strongly recommend using a different company. My experience with Eagle Air is way less than satisfactory. This company has rude technicians and owners. In my case, they failed to correctly address a repair a few months back and potentially hundreds of dollars of coolant leaked out of my AC. When I confronted the on-site technician, he lied and said the last time they came out, it was just a check up call and claimed that I declined to get a leak repaired. This was a blatant lie. Why would I decline service when my call was covered by a home warranty? When we challenged them on this, the company refused to stand behind their work, blaming us, making more false claims, and abdicating any and all responsibility for the error. If you use Eagle Air, prepare for shoddy workmanship, expect to be called a liar, when you try to discuss the matter expect them to talk over you, and then expect to be hung up on you multiple times. Then, to make matters worse, they refused to issue a refund in connection with a warranty that they sold me back in May 2020, saying that I was lying about paying for it. I not only have the invoice, but also have the cancelled check for the payment.

Another company kept saying they would come out to fix my AC during the first hot week of the season, but never did. Eagle Air promptly gave me an appointment and called before the technician arrived. Arthur was friendly and knowledgeable and quickly fixed the issue. If I have another issue in the future, I will definitely call Eagle Air first. 5 stars!

I was a little leary from the previous reviews but glad I continued with the service.I requested a furnace checkup through my home warranty and this company was dispatched. Arthur was my technician and he was amazing. Very professional and knowledgeable. He informed me of everything he was doing to my furnace and answered all my questions. He was very thorough with his inspection

Eagle Air is an awesome service group. I have a home warranty and Eagle Air was assigned to my need for repair. They responded quickly to the request made by the home warranty company. Their customer service staff was friendly and attentive. I was told I would receive a call 30 minutes prior to the service persons arrival and this happened. Their service tech "Anthony" was extremely polite and efficient. He identified the source of the malfunction of my furnace and explained the steps that would have to be taken to gain approval from the home warranty company and complete the repair. The following day I spoke with "Tony" who confirmed the repair was approved, the part was on order and repair would be made on Saturday. Again, 30 minutes prior to "Anthony's" arrival I received a call saying he was on his way. "Anthony" completed the repair and in "simple" terms explained the malfunction. He also gave me advice on proper filters, how to inspect the filter and the frequency of changing the filter. Anthony even wrote on the furnace how to properly place a filter in and what size the filter should be. Eagle Air Inc of Plainfield Illinois is a company I would highly recommend.

Business was referred through home warranty. I was a little apprehensive as I had never heard of them. Called to confirm service as I hadn't received confirmation call. Tony was beyond rude. But everything turned around when I met Arthur. He was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything. If you need service Arthur is your man! Tony, thank you for response. Angie actually did call to confirm as she had done previously as well as warranty company. My concern was appointment being rescheduled again and I was home for the day. Sorry you weren't able to understand what I was attempting to convey to you. At any rate Arthur was beyond amazing and made up for the poor interaction between you and I.

I met the company through AHS with my previous home. They were always courteous and honest which is why I continue to use them even though I no longer have a home warranty. Anthony came by recently for an AC tune up and was able to give a clean bill of health and show me a problem area that needs repair. Highly recommend their services.

Furnace went out and I called my home warranty (American Home Shield). They sent out Eagle Air and the tech found it needed to be replaced. They ordered a new unit, and came out to replace it about a week later once it arrived. The techs were friendly, professional, and kept me posted on the progress. Everyone that I had called at their office was easy to deal with as well, so really no complaints. I know that there a bunch of bad reviews on here about the company, so maybe people did have some bad experience with them, but I can't give them a low rating since they did their job and I had no issues with them. Maybe they work better with warranty situations? Not sure if that is the case, but I am satisfied and the furnace works so can't really ask for much else. Hope this helps.

Anthony did my AC install. Afterwards explained the sensor that were installed in detail. Great job!!
