We are very happy with the service we received from Leto Plumbing. While working with them to replace our HVAC system we had great communication and Rick answered all of our questions. He was also very real and honest with us about what we really needed and what we could pass on. He worked with us to customize the system based on our requests and the needs of our home. When our sump pump failed, and we got water in our basement, Rick sent someone out right away to help us out. His son, Chris came to the rescue. Good family run business with many years of wisdom and experience. During the install of our HVAC system things went very well. We paid exactly what our estimate was and they went out of their way to make sure we were in the best place after they were done. Highly recommend!

This company is heaven sent. My technician was a no show no call and I called this company LETO, Well not only did they show up on time but Chris was polite and knowledgeable about our dishwasher install. ALSO HE CLEANED UP EVERTHING AFTERWARDS. Chris thank you for servicing our home and we will stay a true customer..

I just want to take a moment to say how grateful I am for the help Rick from Leto Plumbing & Heating gave us. Dealing with issues like an ejector pump and water heater is not fun, but he made the whole process easy. He showed up on time (in fact sooner than expected), was super friendly, and clearly knew exactly what he was doing. I am thankful for the great service, as he made the experience a lot less overwhelming. Rick is someone you can trust, and highly recommended.

Oscar came out today to swap out a leaking kitchen faucet. This is the first time we used Leto and we are BEYOND impressed! I will be calling them for all my Plumbing and HVAC needs from now on. Had a sump pump failure on Saturday. When I realized i could not do the repair, I called Leto Plumbing on Sunday. Rick called me right back and scheduled repair the next day. Oscar V. came in the morning, removed the failed pump and replaced it, along with a new deluxe float and controller. Done in less than 2 hours. Friendly service I’ve trusted for over 25 years. Oscar was courteous and efficient. I’d highly recommend Leto Plumbing and Heating to anyone.

Chris was out today, did a great job! In addition he was knowledgeable, courteous, kind and prompt. I would highly recommend LETO Plumbing. Ask for Chris, you won’t be disappointed!

Oct 2025: Our most recent set of projects were completed on time by Chris. He helped resolve a design issue with one of the components that allowed the installation to proceed rather than searching for a more expensive solution. The service he provides continues to be fantastic. We will continue to use Leto for future plumbing and heating support!

Chris arrived at the agreed upon time and did a great job. He quickly flushed our tankless water heater and left the area dry and clean. We will have him back for future plumbing needs for sure.

July 9, 2025 Just finished a plumbing project that was completed by Oscar ( a very new tech with Leto). His installation was completed resolving a couple of issues he identified. He also double checked his work for leaks and functionality before he left. Replacing 2 toilets can be a messy job but Oscar completed the removal and replacement very cleanly. His customer service was fantastic. I will continue to use Leto for my future plumbing needs.

Just had this company come out after having reoccurring issues with our plumbing in our older home. We kept getting sitting water in our basement. I was blown away by the timeliness, quality a transparency around everything that was going to be done and what it would cost. The technician, Oscar, Was top-notch. He single-handedly has insured that you guys will have a returning customer. It was great to have someone come into my home who was personable and charismatic. I will be recommending you guys to anyone I know that needs plumbing services.! A++

Rick and his son Chris are great. They worked with my Village for main shut off so Chris could replace a leaking outdoor spigot and corroded valves. When my Mom had a leaky toilet I called again and they came out same day. Excellent work, very professional and friendly. I highly recommend Leto Plumbing!

I usually do my own repairs but had a heart procedure 2 days ago. I noticed my ejector pump wasn't working and called Leto Plumbing & Heating. After explaining my situation with the office they said Chris will be my repaiman & he will call me in approx 2-3 hrs. after he finishes the job he is on. He called me within 15 min. and said he is on his way but said he wanted to let me know the replacement cost for an ejector could cost as much as $1300. Total.
I was shocked as I always do my own work but he said he understands my situation and possibly it could be the float or an adjustment but he will do his best to limit the costs. Well, he saved the day for sure and is a VERY HONEST young man. It was the float assembly needed to be replaced which he had on the truck. All in $310. and he had it all completed in no time. I think I found my NEW Plumbing & Heating co.

Very happy with the service received by Leto plumbing. Starting with phone call made, very nice and was able to get us scheduled next day. Chris, technician, was earlier than originally expected (which was great), he explained everything, was very courteous and timely. Extremely happy with service provided and will be calling Leto for any future needs.

In February of 2026 I used Leto Plumbing & Heating on two occasions. First for an emergency after hours weekend call when my sump pump line was frozen during our recent sub-zero weather. The second was a routine maintenance call to flush my hot water heaters. Both times the individuals that came out were pros who were friendly, knowledgeable and got the job done right the first time. Would highly recommend!

Leto Plumbing has been servicing the plumbing and HVAC in our homes for many years. Rick and Chris, father and son, are amazing in every way. They are reliable, neat, courteous, and knowledgeable in all areas of plumbing and HVAC. They go out of their way to rush out to our home for needed repairs and new work.

Great company, had them come out and fix some units at our locations and did it quick without any issues! Will recommend again!

As for servicing the Commercial industry I found this company to have great communication and to be very honest. Two of the most important traits I need in companies I do business with. In my experience, I truly believe they make every effort to make it out for service the same day, which for commercial applications is very important. I need to keep my products cold or I do not make any money.

Never fixed the product and charged full price for replacement parts and labor. Then quoted the price of a new unit to 'finally fix' the unit. The labor was the drive and time spent on their cell phone. THREE SERVICE CALLS OVER A MONTH and the the unit was never fixed. Did they suggest buying another unit? No. Was told to "wait until temperature dropped". Wouldn't the technician stay until "the temperature dropped". No of course not, because that is a new service call to be charged. After replacing several other parts, the final visit they said a completely different part was the real problem. Please tell me how it took 3 different trips to know this?

Curing the problem is bad for business. I wish I could upload these invoices with the hilarious explanations. They double talked as to why. The President Dan Kelly then emailed when I refused to pay the final invoice saying that "all operations were proper at that time" which was not true because on the invoice the tech stated I needed to wait for the temp to drop. If the temp was not at the appropriate number THEN THE UNIT CANNOT BE CONSIDERED FIXED! Surprise...the temp never dropped. Then he said the unit had not been working in 3 years. Funny that was the statement they really stuck to like that was reason it wasn't working. When I finally got a good company out, they laughed and say they hear that a lot from customers that have used Triangle. They are very good at invoicing but not good at fixing issues. I never read reviews because I feel everyone's experiences are different and there are three sides to every story. But after using this company to only lose money and never have the problem fixed, I will definitely start taking a track record into consideration. They will respond with everything but an apology since they already have the money. But I figured I would take the time on this rainy sunday to warn anyone reading. I know you can feel like you're in an emergency and it is hard to find a company that doesn't charge you 30 miles because for whatever reason every technician lives in Hoffman Estates and has to drive to the city. And since HVAC work takes a ton of schooling and all the science is probably over your head when they explain the issues. But I encourage you to ask other business what their preferred service companies are and start giving money to companies that do good work and value other business dollars. Chicago gets brutally cold in the winter and super hot in the summer so the need for a good HVAC unit, coolers, and other devices are critical to a successful business. Don't let companies take advantage of your desperation and do what auto mechanics were blamed for over the generations. It's the HVAC companies that truly take advantage.
