I recommend this company. Before I knew of this company I had to take my Orientals to Indianapolis to be cleaned properly, now Fort Wayne has Distinctive Cleaning & Restoration. Their specialized equipment combined with attention to detail and professionalism will give you the best possible treatment and results for your carpets. The owners and staff are wonderful to work with, and will provide you the convenience of drop off and pickup. Fort Wayne needed this company, and I for one am very glad they're here. Thanks again, the carpet looks like new!

Outstanding service!! My carpet looks brand new!!! Alan and Joshua were very respectful and professional. They offered recommendations and went the extra mile to make sure our home was protected. They will be our first choice for all our cleaning needs in the future.

I was completely satisfied with the carpet cleaning services from Distinctive Cleaning and Restoration, and that's hard to say with carpet cleaning companies. (I've often heard reasons from other companies about why they can't do something with carpet cleaning, or they do the job quickly, and through the interactions, you can tell that the best effort wasn't given.) That's not true with my experience here. Distinctive prepared me for their visit thoroughly. The communication couldn't have been better. Alan was careful around the freshly painted trim and careful when cleaning the edges of the carpet, which can get so dusty. He gave his best effort with every room. I will be using them again and recommending them!

We had our carpet cleaned and spots in it from pet and they did a great job! We also had 3 wool rugs that had been pet abused cleaned and they look like new!
I highly recommend them for your cleaning needs. The price also reflects a in shop deep cleaning of our expensive wool rugs that had some pretty bad stains and odors from dogs.

Highly recommend having Alan out to clean! The tile floors in my kitchen and half bath look new again, and the grout is finally back to its original color. Audrey was great with scheduling and reaching out to make sure everything would go smoothly. Overall a great, quick and friendly experience!

Distinctive Cleaning and Restoration did an amazing job at cleaning the carpet and getting pet stains and odors out. They did a wonderful job and asked if we wanted to try cleaning on the vinyl linoleum. We were amazed as it looked brand new. We will have them come out and do the rest as it made huge difference. We would like to share our overall experience of having the tile flooring cleaned in our soon to be rental house. Our hope is that this review will not only help prospective customers, but also help the company itself to improve even more.

PROS:
~Both Alan and Audrey were very friendly and communicated well throughout our interactions with them
~They have prompt service and response time
~Alan has lifelong experience in floor cleaning as his parents owned a similar business
~The tile flooring was noticeably cleaner, especially the grout
~The pricing is fair compared to competitors
~They offer flexible options to pay, which helps immensely.

CONS:
~After specifically mentioning to them that I have OCD (Germ focused), I requested that Alan wear shoe covers in the house during cleaning/service. While he did wear them upon entering the house for the first time, I was disappointed to see that he kept the same shoe covers on while going in and out of the house. Even though the floor was getting cleaned, I felt that dirt/germs/etc were getting brought back into the home.
This could have been avoided if another worker was helping Alan with the cleaning (he was working solo at the time of cleaning).

~I also asked specifically if the equipment that they use gets cleaned regularly. While I am sure that Audrey was being honest when she said, "It does", I am not sure exactly what the procedure is for cleaning it; however, the equipment looked dirty and dusty to me, as if it wasn't cleaned that often. Again, this made me very uncomfortable.

CLOSING THOUGHT:

Overall, we were mostly satisfied with the service offered by Alan and Audrey at Distinctive Cleaning & Restoration. However, in our opinion, in order to be an outstanding business and to earn five stars, they should work harder to truly listen to the needs of their customers even if it means taking a little more time or doing things a little differently than they are used to. For us, it makes all the difference in the world.
