We have used this company for a handful of years. Josh has been the primary tech that takes care of us. He/Sooner always has a heart to see things from the customer perspective and make sure that we receive value for each visit. They go out of their way to do the extra steps to ensure this. They are not motivated to run up an invoice but clearly want to ensure happiness and have a long-term partnership. We appreciate this and look forward to many more years of loyal service!

Great experience with the owner Jimmy and employees Josh and Dante! They truly care about their company and craftsmanship and it shows! Easy to work with and great communication. This company won’t push sales rather they just present the options available and make recommendations based on their knowledge and experience. They took the time to make sure we were happy with the installation and helped to correct some pre existing issues. I would highly recommend Sooner!

I cannot say enough great things about this company! Our furnace went out over the weekend of Thanksgiving and Sooner Heating/Cooling made sure that it was a priority for us to get heat back that Monday! Great service from Jimmy and Josh!! We will definitely be repeat customers!

I have two Geo Thermal units for over 40 years. Very difficult to find qualified technicians. I have worked with Josh now for last 5 years. He is very knowledgeable and personable. Although Josh other than Laura are my only contacts my experoence with Sooner is very positive.

The team at Sooner are awesome. I had an issue with my geothermal system, where 2 other companies told me that there was nothing that could be done and pushed me toward a new heat pump system. The owner of Sooner came out, and diagnosed the issue. He offered to repair, but my system was 20 years old so I opted to get a new geo unit. He was able to rearrange some things on his schedule to get me taken care of so I could take advantage of an expiring tax credit. He even took care of a couple unrelated issues that he noticed while he was there. His team that did the install was very professional, clean and respectful. This is great company, and I would recommend them to anybody in need of hvac services, especially geothermal.

Our 18-year old geothermal heat pump stopped producing heat and its emergency heat failed at the same time. I was totally amazed when Josh replied that he had no one to send but he drove his own car a long distance to us right away in very bad weather to fix our no heat problem because he wanted to be sure that we had heat before the bad weather due the rest of the week! He was very professional, courteous, skilled, knowledgeable and personable. Using my spare parts and his expertise he fixed both problems very quickly. We were extremely pleased with the very low cost for this service. We highly recommend Sooner for all of your HVAC installation and service needs. We plan to replace our heat pump in the near future and Sooner is at the top of our list to do that work. Thank you Josh and Sooner!

These guys are fantastic. Came out same day to diagnose, and did so quickly. Gave me all my options and made me feel like the choice was mine; there was none of that “pushy” mentality a lot of these places have when it comes to home repairs, upgrades, etc. Sooner did the work I needed done the very next day with respect to the urgency at which the work needed to be done. Got my home warm again for my family, and considering all new equipment had to be installed, was extremely clean and respectful to the house. I highly recommend giving them a call if you need an expert opinion on heating, air, and plumbing. Their service call fee is far less than any other I’ve dealt with too, so that alone is worth the phone call. Haven’t called anyone else for my personal home in the last 7 years, and this weekend’s work was the definitive proof of that being a really good decision.

Josh was wonderful! We have had just a great experience with Sooner and are so appreciative of the time they put in to making all of the plumbing in our home work effortlessly. If you need a water heater, drain clearing, soft water tank, faucet installation-you name it, they are pros and get the job done.

We were in the market for a mini-split system for our porch. In reviewing the Fujitsu website (its system is highly rated), and using its "Find a Contractor" tool, Sooner was the sole listing for Central Indiana. There are other HVAC companies in our market that install Fujitsu systems, but this was an indication that Sooner had recognized expertise. Jimmy Robinson, Sooner's owner, came out to review the project and discuss our options. Notably, in my 50 plus years as a homeowner, I have used several well known HVAC companies, but this was the first time a company's owner came out for a review and estimate. Very impressive and he gladly answered all of our questions. Sooner's estimate was a bit higher than others, but we selected them based on the Fujitsu recommendation and Jimmy's visit. The job was scheduled quickly. Josh, Anthony and Andy arrived on time and worked diligently to complete the job in one (long) day. Each one of them answered all our questions as the job progressed. They were polite and professional. Sooner gets my highest recommendation.

Aaron was great. Great communication, explained everything he was doing. Showed me how to use the new softener and water heater.

Worst experience ever had a heat pump and furnance installed on December 10 2025 since then which is now January 15 2026 they have been out for the same problem like at least 14 times fan not shutting off running all the time they said that was normal and there was nothing wrong ask them to just take it out and wash our hands of it and they said no called then on 3 different Fridays for service and was told each time they couldn't do it would have to wait till Monday and also didn't install everything the first time and still haven't installed it

Peter was very knowledgeable on the different thermostat and the wiring. Told him I had an on thermostat he used that to get my heat going again

I can't begin to say how thankful and blessed that we are to have Daniel come to our home. Thank you so much for everything you did to make this all happen. Steve came and did an amazing job. Steve worked his butt off and he knows what he is doing. Thank you so much Steve. Everyone that came to my home was very friendly. I got to meet the owner. I got a little nervous around him. I had a gentleman by the name of Cameron come out yesterday and do a maintenance checkup on my plumbing. Very professional walked me through everything he had done and found. This is the second time this company has came out to my house. Back in June, I had Miguel a HVAC technician come out and checked my air conditioning system top to bottom made sure everything was running good.
Both gentlemen were very professional explaining what they were doing and explaining things where average person can understand.

Matthew has a pleasing personality. Very professional, has a working knowledge of his profession answered questions. He is worth his salt, lol Yes I would use him again. If I had a situation or a problem. Okay

Your techs never turned my furnace back on when they left. My functioning furnace now sounds like a freight train when I turn it on and doesn't function at all. Your techs are incompetent and I have reached the end of my patience. This is third major issue i have had and this company. My house is now 64 and dropping. What kind of tech doesn’t turn a unit back on and ensure it works???? My unit kept home comfortably at 70 before they showed up!!!!

Edit - Tech came back in AM. He had forgot to plug in my capacitor. Sorry for the “rookie mistake.” My house was 58 degrees last night. I am appreciative the kid was apologetic, but pretty frustrated to have to deal with another issue. This same company also no showed me two straight days this past summer to replace a hot water heater and forced me to pay a premium to have repairs done elsewhere on weekend.

Steve and Austin came out to put in a new furance and central air. These guys was fantastic. They worked all day, doing the job professionally. They didnt rush through anything. They made this pain free for us. Cleaned up everything, explained how it all works, and answered all the questions we had. I would recommend them instantly. I won't ever use another company.Thanks guys, I really appreciate everything you did.
