HVAC reviews in Greenwood, Indiana

"Salestech" because you're not service techs. Complete comfort told me my system was failing, and was very dangerous to operate. I was also told the heat exchanger and burners were bad. Along with the return air was not sufficient enough for the system. My system is only 8.5 years old. I was given a quote of $6000+ for repair, or 2 quotes for complete replacement.
I reached out to a friend that owns an HVAC company, told him everything complete had told me. Turns out, the heat exchanger is not failing, but had it been failing, ITS UNDER WARRANTY!!!
Along with only being $2500. Using scare tactics and fear into customers to make them spend money on repairs that are not required, replacement of equipment that is not required, you guys are the same as criminals, i honestly don't know how any of you look at the reflection in the mirror. -
Chad came to service my furnace. He was very professional and got straight to work explained everything in detail and it was much appreciated. I definitely will be using this company again and if I could request a certain furnace inspector, I would definitely request Chad I put my furnace trust in him For sure

Just over one year ago I spent $18,000 on an HVAC system that quite frankly has not performed better than my old system. Putting that aside, my issue is the poor customer service. I received a service error on the unit that required me to call the installer.
Long story short, I spoke with two different people and requested a phone call from a tech that was able to speak HVAC language. Both people told me that would contact the manager and have someone call me and at a minimum they would call me back.
One did call back and left a message that no one would be coming out today and no one would be calling me. She said if I called back she would schedule someone to stop by tomorrow. The other “office member” never even called me back after telling me that he would call me right back.
Slick salesmen that promised me “VIP” treatment because I was buying the top of the line unit. Once the check is written that apparently changes.
I am not a Karen and rarely make these type of post, but a lack of loyalty and customer service represent the culture of the company. Shuffle through the post by incentivized new customers and read those of the long term customers before deciding who gets your money. -
Kyle Pierson just renewed my faith in Complete Comfort! He was prompt and very helpful in advising me on what was needed. I only want him coming back to service my plumbing!

Complete comfort called me to offer a “free” furnace tune up. I never called because there was an issue. They came on time but after the tech the heat was no longer working. When I called them in the morning, I was told the heat wasn’t working prior to them coming. NOT TRUE. We had 0 degree weather the week before and I definitely would notice if there was no heat. I understand after the tune up they would have suggestions to sell me something but never expected for them to not turn the heat back on and then to proceed that I needed a whole new unit. After arguing this they were not coming back out unless I bought a new unit. I called someone else immediately and they fixed it for $80, bad pressure switch hose. The new guy did tell me I will need a new one in the next year but at least he got it back on SO now I will work with him in the fall to replace this unit. The immediate pressure to buy a new unit is unethical especially when it’s cold out and there’s a cancer patient living in the house. Just turn the heat back on and then make your suggestion for a new unit. Don’t leave the heat off to make a customer think they don’t have any options. Shame

Great customer experience from the start to the end. Kept engaging me and setting good expectations on what is expected to be done. Told Quentin jokingly that I have learnt all I need to be a great hvac technician and as such don't need a school education. Overall, the experience was great

My technician, Kyle Pierson was very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. He explained the before and after work that was done and he came on time(which was important to me). Very pleasant young man.
-
Kyle was very professional and personable. He genuinely wanted to help and took the time to thoroughly investigate the problem and offer any and all assistance and guidance he could provide. He was dedicated to exceptional customer service.

This company did a bait and switch on me. They promised to upgrade my bathroom for me at a good price. Even though I insisted that I could not afford it at the time they came up with a really good deal with financing that they arranged. They were to replace my tub and my vanity top only because I had a fairly new toilet. They sent a young man out here with a toilet and a sink which he installed crooked. He then told me he couldn’t do the tub because that was beyond his scope, or words to that effect. He told me that they would send someone else to do the tub. Was then told that they would not be able to do the tub and that they would simply deduct from the price they had initially quoted. I ended up with a bill for almost $3000 for a vanity top and a toilet that I didn’t order. I have been unable to get anyone to come and straighten the vanity top. Every time I call for the manager they tell me he is unavailable but he will get back with me. The job was done in October and today is January 27th. I finally hired someone else who came in and did the job right which included replacing the flooring which was rotten around the toilet.
Use this company at your own risk. -
Peter and Patrick came out and swapped out my Daikin Motherboard because a lightning storm took it out at the end of the Summer. There were a few hiccups with the scheduling to get someone out to finally fix it. Took about a month of phone tag, but luckily it was during the winter when I didn't need A/C, but they came out and had the part swapped in quick fashion. Would recommend these guys, just wish there were less call/scheduling issues, but I'm still giving 5 stars because their crew are awesome and friendly!

Kyle was great. Very informative on both the condition of our system and the services Complete Comfort offers. He was really nice and gave us some good advice on things to look for.

Fantastic! Ramona in scheduling, Peter who did the initial “periodic inspection”, and Joe Lawson who just finished the repair on the XV20i were superb in all respects. Most appreciated was the technical discussion that Joe and I had regarding the “inner workings” of my HVAC systems. Great support from Complete Comfort.

I called Complete Comfort Heating and AC to check a concern I had with my furnace. Quentin, was the service technician who arrived within 2 hours of my call. He was very friendly and knowledgeable, and explained everything he was doing very well. He also gave me options as to what remedies were available. Complete Comfort did not try to oversell me on anything, and I felt like I was being dealt with fairly and honestly.
Their prices are competitive and they have a very good service plan which I took advantage of. I highly recommend them for any heating or AC or plumbing needs.
Again a special thanks to Quentin for a job well done. -
I had a new condenser and duct work installed without issue. Techs were great and got it installed quickly. That is the only reason for the two stars. The scheduled maintenance is a sad joke. Complete comfort knows it’s a joke. Look at the other reviews and you will notice the same complaint. They repeatedly cancel maintenance appointments. They do not provide a time when they will arrive. There is zero communication until they call to cancel on the day of your scheduled maintenance. Do they offer to reschedule anytime soon? Nope. It’s a minimum of 3-4 weeks if you are lucky. And then it’s zero communication again until the next cancellation. Why would you want to deal with that kind of aggravation? You can find better around Indianapolis. You deserve better.

Fantastic service start to finish. Costumer service over the phone was super polite and very flexible with my busy schedule trying to get someone to come do a routine check-up on the house. The technician who came out to test the plumbing, Kyle, tested water pressure, checked for leaks, and identified a few small issues that I wouldn’t have noticed on my own. He was professional, friendly and transparent about everything he found. His explanations were easy to understand and genuinely helpful. I feel more confident about the condition of my home’s plumbing thanks to his work. Five stars, all around.

I gave this company the opportunity to keep my business because my first experience was really bad and while I thought they meant what they said I found out all they cared about was getting my money. Over $57,000 in a year’s time. They suggested a system replacement because I had a coolant leak and claimed the attic furnace unit was so old there was no make/model on it. They recommended a heat pump because it’s economical although they knew I could not access the attic due to fall risks and health. They said it was much more economical and they could put a filter access in reach. That turned out to be untrue so they put it in the ceiling requiring a step ladder and claimed they would change it for us. They said they’d throw in ductwork cleaning because they didn’t do the whole house the previous year. They charged over $6000 for that. After installing it too time before they brought the thermostat which has fewer settings than a normal one. The unit broke down- stopped working- 3 times in 3 months and I was told rudely that there is supposedly no mechanical issue just my attic isn’t insulated enough. They saw the attic before recommending and installing the heat pump. I had been told it was due to fluid buildup in the drip tray the 2 times they came out and that was supposed to happen. They adjusted the tray. I said it ran constantly and ran my light bill up to $764 despite my previous highest bill being $369 with the same insulation and old system. The tech said blowing cold air was normal. Mentioned they are economical. They refused to even look at it the third time at all with it less than 3 months old as of 12/19/25 so now I am looking for attorneys because they are the HVAC experts and refuse to make this right instead blaming me when they knew I am not able to access the attic and am not an HVAC expert. On top of that they installed a garbage disposal and it leaked. They fixed it but no concerns for water damage. Beware because they’re honey sweet to get the money then slow or no service or even flat rude. Plus they are sketchy about how little they put on their invoices. Anyone recommend attorneys or honest HVAC professionals let me know. This unit heats and cools 2 rooms. Thank goodness we have gas heat for the rest of the house but I am sorry I ever did business with this company.

Joe and Israel were the two gentlemen who came out and installed our brand-new furnace, and they did an outstanding job. I also want to give a big shout-out to their supervisor Wyatt. He came out first and did one of the most thorough inspections I’ve ever seen. He showed me pictures and videos and carefully explained how dangerous our old furnace actually was. There was carbon monoxide leaking in our home, which could explain why some of us had been feeling sick.
The best part is this inspection didn’t cost me a dime. It was completely free. Before finding Complete Comfort Heating, Air & Plumbing, I had already paid hundreds of dollars to other companies to come out and check my AC and furnace, and none of them told me anything close to what Wyatt discovered. That really showed me the difference in honesty and effort.
After the inspection they walked me through my options and helped with financing. I was approved and they were able to come out the very next day and install my new furnace.
Joe and Israel were professional, efficient, and respectful of my home. They worked hard, installed the new unit and thermostat, removed the old furnace, and cleaned everything up when they finished. I basically answered a few questions and let them handle their job.
On top of that, they even gave me a $400 gift card, which I’ll probably use toward my utility bill.
I actually found Complete Comfort Heating, Air & Plumbing while scrolling on social media, and honestly that ad might have saved my whole household because of the danger our old furnace was causing. The last three companies I had come out didn’t even put in the effort these guys did.
I truly appreciate their honesty, professionalism, and the way they took care of my family. I highly recommend them to anyone needing AC or furnace work. -
Very Professional and clean.

Awful human, awful business.
-
They kept our old furnace running until we needed a new one and then installed a new furnace and air conditioner, new plumbing in the basement and bathrooms, new water heaters etc..

Furnace shut down and wouldn’t work, they came over within 4 hrs and cleaned furnace. It works no problem and cost was minimum! Had several friends use them since.
