Extremely satisfied with my experience. My levels we between 5 and 30 depending on the weather. After my system was installed they are consistently below 1. The gentlemen that did the work were quick, efficient and very polite. Well worth the money in my opinion.

Great Lakes Radon installed an active radon mitigation system at my home today. The crew of 2 arrived promptly within their stated window. They quickly started working and completed the entire installation in less than an hour and a half. They discussed placement options with me and listened to my suggestions. My 2 suggestions for continuous improvement are:
1. Neater application of caulk to seal joints. The caulk is doing its job, but it was applied hastily.
2. Better cleanup of the worksite. Use a vacuum rather than just a broom to clean up the interior workspace, and consider a leaf blower or using a customer's garden hose to cleanup the brick dust on the exterior.

Great work, excellent customer service, radon levels have been near 0 since the installation. The crew was accommodating of my work schedule and got the job done while I was finishing my work. It was a smooth transaction, and the job was done very well.

The Great Lakes Radon team was super helpful on the phone and answered all of my questions thoroughly before I even committed to their company. They accommodated our needs. Installation team was friendly, professional, and answered all of my questions. Work was done well. The color matching was somewhat limited so I'm going to paint the piping separately, but this limitation was discussed ahead of time, so I expected it.

They were very responsive in providing us with a competitive quote and getting us on their schedule. After a scheduling mishap, they were still able to fit us in, which we really appreciate. The team was very friendly, explained what they were doing, and cleaned up before they left.

As for how well the radon mitigation system works, we’re not sure yet. They didn’t test the basement after the system was installed, but we plan to get a monitor to check the radon levels ourselves. Hopefully, the levels come back normal. If not, we trust that they will stand behind their work and return to make any necessary adjustments.

Dane and Will just left after quickly and efficiently replacing our radon fan. We couldn't be more pleased with their expertise and professionalism. And they're just super nice guys! They have our highest recommendation for all your radon needs. Count us as very happy customers!

We discovered the radon levels in my son’s new home was very high. I called Great Lakes and was provided solid information and a fair price. The staff a Great Lakes Radon were totally professional, starting with clearing keeping informed of when they would arrive, to inspecting the area inside and out for where they would do the installation, to explaining what they were doing, to telling us how to maintain the system (almost nothing to do!).

The installation looked very professional - we were very happy with the results.

The radon levels in my basement before averaged near 3.0 but periodically peaked at over 5.5. After remediation, the levels dropped to 0.3!

We had a great experience with Great Lakes Radon. Dane (owner) was friendly and professional. He asked some questions about our basement setup and was able to give me a quote over the phone. They installed the system the next day. It took about 3 hours and the team did a great job installing the exterior apparatus so it is not conspicuous and unsightly. A few days after installation we did another radon test and levels are now reduced from around 6 to almost zero. Highly recommend this company.

The guys came on time, were very pleasant and respectful and did the job quickly. We were apprehensive about the process but are relieved and happy with the results.

Very satisfied with the installation of a radon mitigation system by Great Lakes Radon! The cost was reasonable. Communication on the day of the appointment was excellent. Dalton and Logan, the installers, were professional and extremely patient answering questions and listening to concerns about outside pipe placement around a kitchen window. They explained how the radon system would work, options for where the pipes could be placed on the outside of the house, and how to read the inside gauge that shows whether or not the fan is working. They also went above and beyond after installation by asking for a vacuum cleaner and then vacuuming the area in the basement where they had been working, actually leaving the area cleaner than it was before they arrived. Logan and Dalton mentioned that they take pride in their work, and based on my experience with them and the pipe installation that addressed the concerns I had about the aesthetics and location of the outside pipe, they definitely do! Our beginning radon level was 4.6 and after four days, we are now down to 2.9. Working with Great Lakes Radon, and specifically with Logan and Dalton, exceeded my expectations!!

Quickly and effectively installed a new radon mitigation system into my home. It took a little time for the levels to drop, but drop they did. No further action was required after they finished on installation day.

I'm very impressed with their work! They came out within 2 days of me calling them, and did a highly professional job on my radon system. Everything was done with great attention to detail, they caulked around all the joints, upgraded my sump pump pit lid so everything was air tight, zip-tied the wiring neatly, strapped the plumbing to the wall securely, I'm very impressed! 10/10 would recommend! Very nice and professional crew as well.

The owner was a pleasure to work with before setting up the appointment. He always took the time to call back and answer all our questions before installation.
The crew that came out to install Dalton and Logan were absolutely fantastic. They did a wonderful job of getting my radon mitigation system up and running within a couple of hours and left the work area just as clean as it was before they started. They did a great job of custom fitting a cover for our sump area that fit around our backup water pump and we couldn’t be happier with the results so far. In less than 12 hours our levels have dropped considerably. Thanks Great Lakes Radon!
