I used Carriage Cleaners to take care of the cleaning of my soft goods after a fire. They did an excellent job of cleaning and packing and returning all my property, I do think I could have done this cleaning for much less money, but they did what I hired them for and I should've asked more questions about the cost prior to the service, but I had no idea how much something like this runs, it's alot. I give them 5 stars though.

Prompt, competent and personable help during a difficult time. They treated our possessions with respect and were always available to return items we needed. Highly recommend, could not have been more satisfied.

The whole staff was very professional and sympathetic to our situation after our house fire. Mike stopped by, explained what would happen very well, answered all our questions and cleaned out the house. He delivered an emergency wash load a day or so later, so we had clothes. We needed some additional items and Mike delivered them after the items were cleaned. After everything was either cleaned or marked ruined, Dave sent the invoice and list of items to our insurance and emailed us copies of both. A short time later, my wife and I decided we wanted our belongings, since we had storage room in the rental house and wanted easy access. I emailed Dave and asked for him to setup delivery whenever it was convenient. Josh called and showed up a few hours later with our belonging. The clothes, curtains, tables cloths, bed linens, etc. looked great and some items even looked new. We received three boxes of ruined items and we disposed of them after taking pictures. Thank you Carriage Cleaners, you rock!

Our house had a pipe burst on Christmas Day and Carriage Cleaners was able to be there the next day. They took way more soft sided items than I thought they would and they were so caring about our ruined items. They took the time to explain the process to me and even tried to save our dogs bed! They were hands down the best people for the job and I can not recommend them enough! I hope anyone who reads this who is on the edge of using this company it helps seal the deal because they have been awesome!

Carriage Cleaners is a phenomenal company to have by your side in times of displacement. The professionalism, caring team members and extraordinary service they provided helped beyond measure relieve a stressful situation. They went above and beyond in such short notice to help vacate my place and all my linens, clothing, personal items were returned as if I purchased brand new, packaged with care and boxes labeled with all contents inside ! I’m being generous with my rating of 4, but I believe when mistakes are made and corrected appropriately that deserves acknowledgment. I had a fire on April 17. Carriage cleaners was able to come out to the home within a few days, retrieve all “soft” items, and gave me a quote of a couple of weeks to a month for cleaning and restoration. I took PTO from work for pack out due to living with family and having to make sure our belongings were packed out and divided correctly due to different insurance. After 3 weeks, I followed up with carriage cleaners about when my belongings would be ready. I had to call a few times prior to getting an answer. I received my bill of almost $7,000 and was prepared for delivery on Friday, May 9. During my delivery, I noticed some of my belongings including 3 very large storage totes were not returned. I had to call the office and report my missing belongings. Over the course of unpacking for 3-4 days, it was realized they misplaced a LARGE portion of my belongings. Given it had been almost a month without my belongings and a multiple thousand dollar bill, I was displeased. Carriage cleaners staff were very communicative, rush cleaned all of my belongings, and returned all items within 4 business days free of charge for the missed items. It was a large mistake, but they ate the cost and got everything back in a timely manner. My belongings were all clean and I’ve had no concerns thus far with anything returned. I had a few items damaged during cleaning but that was expected given the house fire and other circumstances.

My home had a fire and everything was smoke damaged. I had a 24-year-old bear that was taken and cleaned right away. It was returned the following day without any odor. I am so grateful for the kindness, professionalism and care my home and items in my home received. Josh was the worker assigned to my home and he did a fantastic job!

After my experience with the bear, I felt so much better about watching the contents of my entire home be packed away.

Update: Items returned were NOT AT ALL cared for the way the bear was. So many items smelled bad and despite an agreement to test a purse, items were tested but not the purse. I had to call and get an update because it had been so long since my items had been taken back. Ridiculous. Save yourself $17k and go to the laundry mat with Odoban and vinegar. Several discolored and ruined items and they returned them as clean vs itemizing them as not salvageable. Not happy at all but appreciate the bear being well cared for.

Update: I saw where someone said they lost items. I had a sweater dress, matching knee high boots and a pair of Ariat leather cowboy boots in my stuff that were not ours. We are missing two pair of work boots belonging to my husband. We also had maternity pants and a teal pair of capris that were NOT ours. Things def get mixed up.

CC helped me during a recent flu fire in my home. They extended their compassionate services to me throughout the 6 month period I was not able to return to my home. They made 2 emergence deliveries right away with clothes, etc., and made other deliveries before the final delivery of my home contents. All clothing came back, cleaned, hanging, all individually covered by plastic bags. All boxes listed contents which was very helpful. Things that were not cleanable were also charted.
I highly recommend them!

Do not let them in your house or try to clean anything antique or valuable. Do not use them for flood recovery. Do not let them touch your curtains or blinds. Do not let them be unsupervised in your home or have large orders. Do not recommend at all. Heartbroken. If other customers received items that were not theirs my family would give you a list of missing things to see if any of them were ours.

If I could give 20 stars, I would! I cannot say enough about this company! After our house fire, they took absolutely everything in our home. They salvaged and cleaned what they could. But even items deemed “ruined,” were still cleaned, boxed, and returned. Everything was boxed SO neatly and carefully and every box was labeled with its contents. Nicer clothing items were hung and bagged neatly. The communication with Barbie was outstanding! So sweet and so helpful. But the young man who delivered a FULL truck load, Eric, oh my gosh! Not only was he professional, quick, and stacked everything so neatly, he was just a doll. I had told him about recently losing both of my parents and I got a bit emotional. That young man was so kind, so compassionate. And it was 100% genuine. You don’t run across many very young men who have that level of kindness and compassion these days. I told the company to give him a raise! I’m so thankful for this company. I will recommend them to EVERYONE!!!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!! THEY ARE SCAMMERS!! I HAD A FIRE I HIRED THEM TO CLEAN CLOTHES SHOES ETC. FIRST THEY DELIVERED ME SOMEONE ELSES BELONGINGS AND CHARGED ME FOR IT ALSO ADDED OTHER THINGS TO MY INVOICE THAT I DID NOT HAVE. THEY NEVER RETURNED ALL OF OUR ITEMS. THEY NEVER CALLED NEVER CALLED BACK NEVER ANSWERED EMAILS THE MANAGER AND EMPLOYEES ARE A JOKE EVERYTHING THEY DID RETURN HAD TO BE WASHED AGAIN OR THROWN AWAY BECAUSE IT STILL SMELLED JUST LIKE SMOKE THEY CASHED AN INSURANCE CHECK WITHOUT MY SIGNATURE I COULD GO ON AND ON WHAT EVER YOU DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

I want to say thank you so much my house caught on fire on 11/29/23 and when I tell you as a mother of 4 kids I didn't know what to do I met a lady name Maggie and when I tell you her and her team is wonderful l really mean it they help me with a hotel and help wash the clothes that we could save from the fire and among other things so once again I want to say thank you for being my family angle.

This company is turned out to be 100% scam artists times 10 had a fire and five star restoration apparently referred them for the clean out which did not notify me they legally entered my house taking everything even trash and charging over $20,000 for a small two bedroom house they damaged my property try to put it on the insurance company as fire damage. Literally insurance fraud!

Been trying to resolve this for months I caught them red-handed and I will not let the stand see you guys in court!

The staff at Milto was professional and patient. They worked hard to accommodate my requests, always with kindness. Their work was excellent. I just wish the distance between Cincinnati and Indianapolis was not so great.

Extremely professional and organized!! Everything returned in boxes was clearly labeled with contents. This service was the most stress free part of the restoration process after our attic fire/water damage. Everything restored looks so clean and amazing. I cannot recommend this company enough!
