I own multiple properties with many different HVAC systems including boilers. One call and these guys handle it all. Highly recommend weather your a homeowner or a landlord with multiple properties.

The AC was not working called several places but busy or no return call. I got a recommendation from Bill Rausch Heating Cooling to call Swift (Perdue). They were able to come out same day and repaired the AC. The office was wonderful to talk with and the service tech Rob was great even apologized for bill but worth it to have cool air again and relief and from the Heat inside the house.

Perdue Heating and Cooling is punctual and professional. The techs do not waste time, but they get to work on the job. They listen to concerns and clearly explain options. From the call to schedule to the techs, I feel I am their #1 job. Highly recommend.

We have used Perdue Heating and Cooling for our house's heating and air conditioning for 10 years now. We bought a new unit from them about 5 years ago and we are pleased with it and also with the zoning system that they installed.

All of the service technicians who have come to for annual inspections and to do repairs and installations have been professional, knowledgable, and nice. They listen to your concerns and answer your questions.

Today, Perdue sent us a new technician (Dustin) who we had not met before. He did a great job replacing a motor on our zoning system and worked with us to make things extra-safe during the COVID19 era. We appreciate it!

The company installed new furnace and Air conditioner in our home. They are also our providers for scheduled service and maintenance. They are very responsive and the Technicians are highly skilled. I have had really great experience with them. I would highly recommend them.

I have had a maintenance agreement with Perdue for about 15 years and through 4 different houses. The office staff and the technicians are top notch. On time, informative, efficient... can't say enough good about them.

The annual service plan is great! Technicians are very knowledgeable and friendly when they are working at the house. They take time to explain any questions you may have. I have been a customer with them for nearly ten years.

My husband and I had been without AC for about 2 weeks...since mid-July. We tried fans, small window fans and even a small window air conditioner, but we were not getting any good results. A friend of his mentioned Perdue and my husband remembered the company, so we found the website and he called and made arrangements for someone to come out and talk about our options. The man took all the measurements and explained our choices and we decided to go with them. On July 28th, the two installers, Rick and Nathan, showed up on time and got to work straight away! The were there ALL day. They were so thorough and competent...and they even went the extra mile when necessary! They impressed my husband with their attention to detail and and because they cleaned up after themselves. We would recommend them and the company to anyone who who was having trouble with their heat or air!!!

The technician Jared was one of the NICEST persons I have ever dealt with for HVAC. He was kind, considerate of our home, and knowledgeable. He went out of his way to explain every step and gave me lots of tips on how to extend the life of my system. He arrived promptly and quickly diagnosed the problem. He is an asset to your company.

Called in for service because we thought they may be a carbon monoxide leak. Tech was at home within 2hrs. Tech was very courteous and inspected everything thoroughly to ensure there was no leak. Tech ran tests and there was no leak. The unit was not running correctly so he serviced the issue and cleaned out an area that was collecting a lot of dust, hair and filth.
Very appreciative for the quick response and thorough review of the maintenance needed.

I have been using them for several years to come out twice a year and service my furnace and air. Their staff is very nice. They explain to me what's going on with my system and they are quite punctual.

Knowledgeable employees and friendly technicians in my home. What I thought was a service issue turned out to be a system replacement. I chose a system backed by a 10 year parts and labor warranty and a lifetime compressor warranty. I'm a single mom, so having peace of mind is well worth the investment. The amount of good reviews from this company are chocking to me. We had a completely new HVAC system put in by them about 5 years ago and have had nothing but issue with it. We have had them out roughly 6 months ago to fix an issue in the attic and come to find out nothing got fixed. They also did not complete the project well enough in the crawl space. We have been basically cooling and heating the crawl space and attic for now several years. A huge THANK YOU goes out to the company that has educated us and help us get the HVAC system up and running like it should.

I am a first time homeowner. When I walked into a frigid house this evening, I panicked. And then called my mom. Who recommended Purdue Heating & Cooling. The dispatch person took my information and told me I’d get a call back. I expected it to be a while, but within 5 minutes my phone was ringing. Jarrod was incredibly helpful, personable, patient, and thorough, and was able to walk me through repairing my own furnace step-by-step. Within an hour my heat was back on and didn’t cost me a penny. I am very grateful to Jarrod and Purdue Heating and Cooling for excellent assistance and customer service.

My father has had a service contract with this company for many years. However when they last came out for a winter service, the service person did not wear any covering on his workbooks and left footprints all over Dad's carpet that was layed that week!. A manager came to the home after I called them and stated they would take care of it and stating their full responsibility for the ruined carpet. THEY hired a carpet cleaner who came out, but were unable to remove the footprints. Not only have they not paid the carpet cleaner - now 6 months overdue - but the general manager after agreeing to replace the carpet for the hallway, stopped answering and returning calls. I strongly recommend never using Perdue Heating based on this experience!

Of all the companies you could hire, do not hire Perdue Heating and Cooling or Swift Air Mechanical.
Hiring them was a big mistake. During their time in our home, we experienced theft and vandalism of our equipment. The owner failed to deliver a quality design or reliable equipment, leaving us with an uncomfortable and poorly functioning system. This company operates like a fly-by-night organization and cannot be trusted to handle professional HVAC work.

We have entire systems shut off in our house this winter and the temperature continues to rise, the owner will lie to you to sell you a system. This company is built on profit before integrity, i'd hate to see someone make the same mistake I did, I trusted Alan Cox and he lied over and over.

Avoid Using SWIFT AIR MECHANICAL / PERDUE HEATING AND COOLING If You Want the Job Done Right

When Swift Air (also known as Perdue Heating and Cooling) installed my new air conditioner, they overcharged the system. This caused the unit to short cycle for several days straight (see video). They eventually returned to remove excess refrigerant, which resolved the immediate issue, but I have been concerned ever since about the wear and tear that may have caused on the system and how much it may have shortened its lifespan since it probably started and stopped thousands of times during that short timespan. During install they also remove all the trim from an access opening to my attic and never returned to repair it (see photo).

Despite this, I continued using them because new units come with a service contract. That turned out to be a mistake.

Several times during my service contact with them they have forgotten to come perform either my spring or fall maintenance. During this last spring maintenance visit, after I called to remind them to come out, they failed to reconnect a capacitor which resulted in blowing a fuse in the AC system and leaving me without air conditioning for several days. They also neglected to replace the caps on the refrigerant lines. (see photos) And now, even though I'm covered under both the Swift Air service plan and the Trane manufacturer warranty, I've been without AC for five days and counting while I wait for them to return to replace a failed Trane thermostat—something they’ve acknowledged is covered under warranty.

To make matters worse, while Penny (who answers the phone) is kind and helpful, no one from their parts department has responded to either her follow-ups or mine. I still have no idea whether the part has even been ordered or when they plan to complete the repair.

In short, if you want reliable service and a properly installed system without excess damage to your home, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

Adam was highly recommended to me for his efficient and fair service. Adam fixed my issues quickly and spent a great deal of time completing maintenance updates that my previous company did not perform. My previous company quoted me prices that were outrageous and as it turns out unnecessary. My previous company was trying to pressure me into a new furnace and air conditioner….Thankfully, Adam has my air running smoothly at a fraction of the price!

Team was on time and great communicators. Did a great job and provided more feedback on the system. Will use them again.
