I wish I would have read these reviews before agreeing to use Premier Plumbing. It would have saved me a lot of time and inconvenience.

I too, was assigned Premier Plumbing through HMS Warranty Company to check out a leak at my hot water heater. Upon arrival, the technician noticed it rusting from the bottom and said it would need to be replaced. He said he would put in a request for a new unit and when it came in (within 5-7 days), they would call me to schedule installation.

I waited over 2 weeks to allow them time for the unit to come in before calling to inquire about installation. I called HMS, they said they approved the work and the plumber would call to schedule. I asked them to send a message for someone to call me, they said they would.

Two days later, still nothing from the plumber, so I called them directly. They tried to pass off the miscommunication on the warranty company, saying they never got approval (when HMS said they submitted approval weeks prior). The soonest they could schedule me was 4 days after that. I asked if there was any way to get scheduled sooner, as it had been 3 weeks since someone had been out, they told me no. I took the 8am-12pm window 4 days later. She said they would call me when they were 30 minutes out.

Fast forward to today - around 11am, I was beginning to get nervous that they forgot about me, considering the hassle I had to go through to get the appointment to begin with. She said I was still on today's schedule, but that the 8am-12pm window wasn't a guarantee, just an estimated time of arrival. Around 11:45am, I got a call from someone saying they were en route.

Hot water heater was installed, they're getting ready to leave, but tell me I still owe $122.00 for a plumbing modification fee. I told him I wasn't informed of said fee and as far as I knew, the $100 deductible was all I was going to have to pay. So, he calls HMS to find out what's going on (leaves the phone on speaker so I could hear) - and apparently, while he's trying to blame HMS for not calling me, it was Premier's fault that I wasn't informed because they never informed HMS of the additional fee. At any rate, after waiting 3 weeks to get the unit installed, I told her I felt that this fee should be waived. She said my alternative was to accept a claim credit and have my preferred contractor install the unit... small problem (as aforementioned)... the unit was already in! Tech 1 was checking for leaks while tech 2 was putting away his dolly & tools and waiting in the truck!

Tech from Premier gets back on the phone with HMS for a few moments. When he hangs up, he looks at me and says, "We're done here," as he's walking out the door. I asked if I needed to sign anything for installation and he said, "No," and walks away. No, "Thank you for your business", "Sorry for any inconvenience"... not even a "Have a nice day!". Seriously appalled by the lack of professionalism after everything I dealt with. As a property manager, had I made any of my tenants wait for 3 weeks to get a hot water heater installed, that would be grounds for them to break their lease. I'm with the rest of the reviewers - not sure how they are still in business, because this would NEVER fly in the professional world.

Was supposed to have a technician to our home between 12-4 pm. We were told specifically we would receive a call in that time frame. At 4:10 pm, having received no phone call, we reached out to our home warranty company. They contacted premier and then my phone proceeded to blow up with calls - which I couldn’t answer because I was still talking to the home warranty company. Long story short when we did connect with Premier we were basically yelled at and told we had “no idea” how service works. Sorry, but no other contractor I’ve worked with in any of my homes has treated us like that. After all this and the fact that they never provided us a service, they submitted an invoice to me (and I’m guessing the home warranty company) for $150 to repair a water heater which wasn’t even our scheduled repair. We owe zero on the repair but I’m calling the home warranty company to ensure they don’t pay for it either. Total nonsense. Call someone else.

My home warranty Place recommended this plumber. Called set up an appointment to have them come today. Called several times no one picked up. I repeat no one answers their phone. Trying to find out where the plumber was and if they were going to be able to make it. Come noon and nobody has called me to tell me what is happening I realize this is not a good company. I called another plumber and they're coming tomorrow. I repeat do not use his company it is a scam my home warranty place recommended this plumber. Called set up an appointment to have them come today. Called several times no one picked up. I repeat no one answers their phone. Trying to find out where the plumber was and if they were going to be able to make it. Come noon and nobody has called me to tell me what is happening I realized this is not a good company. After reading other reviews I am not surprised. If you are home warranty customer and your home warranty has recommended this plumber I strongly recommend you tell them no. Otherwise you're probably going to be wasting time and money that you could be using toward another plumber.

I was assigned this plumber by HMS home warranty. Additionally, I go by this "office" location every day, and it's an empty lot - don't know why there are office hours for an empty shipping container on a fenced-in lot.
I called the number supplies from my home warranty claim, and they scheduled me for Monday morning. Then the Saturday before, they called and said I needed to be scheduled. Wait... Wasn't I already scheduled? Monday morning, no call no show. I call again, speak to the scheduling department, get scheduled for Wednesday morning. Well, good thing it wasn't an urgent issue, I thought I'd use my home warranty since I have one. Wednesday morning arrives, we have a call from a plumber. We confirm to come on over. Nothing. We call back and he says he couldn't access the property and left, saying there was a gate chained shut over a drive. We live on a city street, street parking. No gates chained shut blocking your access. I confirm he's got the right address and he says he'll be right there. Several hours pass and the appointment window passes. I call the office, nobody picks up, no option for voicemail. I call the technician back, goes to voicemail. Call the office again, someone picks up. She says because I didn't answer the phone, the technician went to the next call and I'll be contacted later in the day. I explain how I was in contact and he had some wrong location and then never showed. When I ask why their address is an empty lot, she says they're building an office. I was fed up waiting and getting strung along so I asked HMS to reassign me. Looking at the other reviews I seem to have gotten off easy.

I had a hot water heater that needed assistance, and my home warranty company assigned me to this provider. The first experience that I had with this company went very well. He was quick to get my initial in-take taken care of quickly, and assessed that we need a new water heater. From that day forward, it was all down hill. We decided that we wanted to increase the size of our water heater from a 40 gallon to a 50 gallon water heater, and I asked if we could pay the difference. He told me that he would have an invoice over by the end of the night... 5 days later I finally got an email with the difference, and I signed it with the total stating $175 would be the total. He said he would be in contact with me about scheduling... which I never got, until the day he wanted to come install the water heater. I got a text from him stating that he couldn't come that day because the water heater wasn't available; and conveniently, less than 15 minutes later he had a new water heater replacement for $250, and said he would be over soon to replace it. A guy from the company showed up, drained my old water heater, and then turned off the water, and was waiting for over an hour in his truck doing nothing. Then another worker, the man I've worked with in the past, came and started to assist him in removing the old unit. Due to the lack of communication on when he was coming, i had to have my in-laws come to help with childcare needs due to another child needing to go to a practice. So I had to leave my house, and I asked the man if we could discuss the invoice and what would be due since my in-laws would be at my house and I wanted to take care of the cost. And then the total was almost $500, with no line-by-line explanation of what the charges were, nor was there a discussion about what the warranty company covers/doesn't cover. I told him I wasn't paying that until I had a discussion with the warranty company, and I wanted to confirm that. He got upset, told me he was offended and that I needed to find a new service provider. Meanwhile, while I was gone, my mother in law, asked him to hook the old water heater back up, which he said he would do. He turned my water back on, but didn't hook the water lines back up to the water heater, so it was literally flooding my garage, and leaking into my laundry room and closet inside. He left my water heater like that, on purpose, which shows what the character of this company is. I think this is absolutely unacceptable, and there needs to be accountability on his actions.

I'd love to give zero stars. Like most of the other reviewers, I did not select this company. They were assigned to my claim through my home warranty.

They did NOT call me in the one business day window. I had to call them myself to get a technician to my house. He spent less than 10 minutes in my house, said my thermostat was out, took my deductible, and then said he'd be back that same day with the part. I told him to call if he couldn't make it that same day. He didn't. I had to call them again the next day to schedule his second visit to actually fix the water heater. He showed up late to our appointment (past 6 pm which is just ridiculous), spent 10 minutes in the house again, apparently replaced the part, and then he told me to check in 30 minutes since it would take time to heat up the water. I did, and WE DID NOT HAVE RUNNING WATER. THIS IS WITHIN 30 MINUTES OF HIS WORK. I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO PAY A DEDUCTIBLE TO A TECHNICIAN WHO DID NOT FIX THE ISSUE.

I called them this morning to complain, and they told me I'd have to file a recall claim through my warranty claim. I asked to see a receipt of the new part they put in to my water heater. They apparently can't give me that.

I'll certainly file a formal complaint and do my best to make sure Premier Plumbing is not a continued supplier of services for the warranty company. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND INEFFICIENT TECHS. You can't take $100 and have zero regard for work quality.

This company was referred through my home warranty company to repair my hot water heater. When I called to schedule the man that answered the phone was very rude and unprofessional. Finally we scheduled a time for them to come out. They gave me a 4 hr window and said they would call a half hour before they come. No one ever called or showed up. I left a voice mail and then the same rude unprofessional man told me they canceled my service due to them having the incorrect service order number which he wrote down incorrectly. A week after first making contact with this company the same rude man told me his boss said it would be $200 for them to come out after i had already paid my deductible to the warranty company. After being talked to like a dog and being hung up on without saying bye at the end of our several conversations I refused their service and had the warranty company send another company. I was yelled at, hung up on and treated very poorly by this company. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

This plumber was assigned to us through our Home Warranty Co. Please, refuse to use this company. He did not fix the problem with out toilet and left a HUGE filthy mess for us to clean up.
He was either completely incompetent or just wanted to be done for the day. When we realized there was still nasty water leaking from our toilet later that night, we had to call the warranty co and demand someone else come and fix it. Fortunately we found our own highly reviewed plumber. Night and day difference between him and this guy.
Also, they are supposed to respond to our call within 24 hours. The first time it took them five days to contact us. The second time when we originally were going to use him again to fix the problem that he had already failed to take care of, it took another five days and then our home warranty company called them, and they still refuse to call us back. Totally unprofessional and useless.
I can honestly say this is the WORST service technician I have ever used for any problem in my home. They truly don’t deserve to be in business.

I can’t recommend Harmon enough. After a very bad experience with another big plumbing company in Indianapolis, I called Harmon for a second opinion. They cleared my sewer main for $150, whereas the other company wanted $9,500 to replace it. They said the main was in fine condition and would last indefinitely. Didn’t try to upsell me on anything and cleaned up after themselves when they were done. When I do have a major repair, these are the guys I’ll be calling.

We've used them about 2 or 3 times for drain issues and once to install a dishwasher. They do a great job getting you on their schedule as soon as possible, and they are quick.

Harmon Drain Cleaning company displayed a shocking level of negligence and incompetence during a recent service call. Despite a straightforward contract to install three new toilets, their team performed unprofessionally. They inexplicably failed to replace a minor, eighty-two-cent "beauty plate" and, with shocking carelessness, left the main meter plate discarded in my yard.
When I contacted the owner, Travis, to address these abysmal oversights, his response was an insult: he demanded an additional $75.00 fee to correct his company’s own, undeniable mistakes.
This combination of shoddy workmanship and predatory billing practices is entirely unacceptable. I strongly urge all prospective customers to exercise extreme caution and avoid hiring Harmon Drain Cleaning for any work in their homes.
