I’ve had good experiences with Dalton. Always on time and able to fix what needs fixing! Henry always explains what he is going to do and what the charges will be, so never any surprises. Very satisfied.

Originally called clog busters and they wanted to charge me before they even showed up. I said no I’ll call somebody else. Called these guys and they were awesome. Billy got the clogs and was really professional. Very clean also. Will use them in the future!

The membership is definetly worth it as you get free inspections throughout the year so that problems are caught before it's super cold/hot. The yearly membership is about the same price as calling them for an ad hoc inspection as well.

Henry and Steve showed up at 8 am to begin installing my new HVAC system and a new hot water heater. These two guys know their stuff and they are very professional. They completed the install by 4 pm and to my satisfaction. I use Dalton for all of my HVAC, plumbing, and electrical needs and I recommend you do too.

Repair of the furnace boiler’s water pipe for radiant heat involved cutting a section of the pipe, fusing and soldering the parts together to the pipe. The repair also entailed making sure that the furnace had no air in those pipes at the completion of the repair work. And of course, all the water had to be turned off while the repairs were being made to the water boiler. The detailed, specialized repair was done with the upmost professional courtesy, and demonstrated a highly, knowledgeable effective procedure to make the repairs. And planning ahead, he brought the requisite tools and equipment to complete the repairs successfully. In addition, after a review of the repair work, there was a diligent review of the heating system to ensure that there was no inappropriate air in the pipes going out to the supply registers with its radiant heat. At the completion of this task, he diligently cleaned the area of the inadvertent spills on the floor and furnace, as well as taking with him the numerous variety of tools and equipment used in the detailed work for the repairs to his van. I am exceedingly pleased for all that was accomplished by the highly effective and knowledgeable work accompanied with his superb customer service by Henry Thompson!

Henry was very professional and friendly. I was happy with his work. We called many heating companies that said they were 24 hrs. But couldn't come. Yours was the only one that did. We were so glad we found you. We will definitely call on you company again.

I used Dalton for a check-up on my furnace and air conditioner, as well as a check-up and cleaning of my two fireplaces. Great communication, professional and courteous technician (Henry), who was great about answering all of my questions. I used Dalton when I lived in Cedar Falls, and I am happy to use them now that I live in Des Moines. Highly recommend!

I contacted Dalton after some appliance installers told me they couldn't hook up my new washing machine because the shutoff valve for the hot water supply wouldn't close properly. A plumber came out and looked at it for a few minutes and found the problem right away - the valve just needed to be shifted to the right a little bit so the handle could be turned all the way. I had initially asked for it to just be replaced, but he took the time to analyze the situation and I only ended up paying for the trip charge, which was a pleasant surprise considering replacement pricing would have been in the hundreds.

Needed maintenance done on my gas fireplace, which hadn’t been serviced in quite some time. Henry from Dalton was our tech he showed up on time was very pleasant and helpful, cleaned and maintained our fireplace. Provided me with detailed information about how our gas fireplace works and did an excellent job of cleaning and ensuring our fireplace is safe. It was an awesome experience. reasonable price.

Ben was the serviceman who carefully completed the project of disassembly of our Casablanca ceiling fan to install a new operating system, receiver board, and electronic wall switches requiring the determination of how to achieve the correct multi-functions of the fan/lighting and subsequent reassembly. This took some time and thought to achieve these goals and Ben was patient, thorough, and gentle with our equipment.
Ben then also installed a new 240 volt recessed socket connected to the power line secured through the outside wall to the inside and this task was also well planned and completed.
We appreciated the fine service provided.

I have had various heating and cooling companies come out to check my furnace for the season. They have been adequate. This year it got past me. I just received a flyer in the mail with a good/great price to perform a furnace and gas fireplace check from Dalton Plumbing, Heating, Cooling, Electrical, & Fireplaces . Henry T. their technician called me earlier than scheduled to see if he could start early. Henry did a very thorough job on the furnace check/tune up. What I was most impressed with was the job he did on our gas fireplace check up. The fireplace had not been serviced in over 15 years because it is hard to find a company to do it in the Metro. Henry was amazing. He took the fireplace apart to check everything out. Cleaned and adjusted it. Cleaned the fog off the glass and made it sparkle. I am so impressed with the service, professionalism, and pricing I received from Dalton and especially Henry T. 5 stars is not enough in my opinion. I highly recommend this company for your furnace and fireplace needs. I double recommend the gas fireplace service (10 stars). Dalton will always be my fireplace service company going forward!
