Don’t bother if you have a TRANE furnace and had already called another service just to see if they could fix it during winter. If you installed the furnace 5 years ago you should fix it, I got pushed to just use the company I had initially look at it as Rob was busy. Kudos to Lenz H&C for referring me to Dayton H&C who work on TRANE furnaces and got me up and running by Monday.

Rob has supported my heating and cooling needs for over a decade. I've bought new furnace and air from him and he serviced the older units over time. He is prompt, and has come over on a weekend if needed. He is not out there to sell you but to do what makes the most sense for your situation. Have referred him to my friends as well.

Rob was quick to answer the phone when I called. He was able to come the same day. Rob was able to identify the issue quickly, had pricing on the spot, and completed the repair. At no point did he try and 'Sell' me on a new system. There was no pressure just the facts of what was needed. I would highly recommend and will contact Rob the next time I have an HVAC issues

My air conditioner went out and I called approximately 15 different places telling me they wouldn't be able to look at it for a couple of days. I called community Heating and cooling and Rob came out in 15 minutes and replaced it that night, also made sure it was done correctly and did not cut corners. Rob did an awesome job, and could not be more appreciative of the work he did. The unit he got me works great! Thanks again Rob!

Great service. They went out of their way to find the part for my very old furnace, making multiple trips to get the job done. They came the same day we called and even gave us multiple space heaters to keep the family warm while he waited for the parts to come. Very friendly and patient - I'd recommend to anyone needing their HVAC quickly repaired.

We contacted Obsidian because our upstairs was much hotter than the downstairs and we noticed some cold and hot spots in our home. They came in, gave us invaluable advice, cleaned our ac unit, and set our furnace fan to support the size of our house.

They were super friendly and informative. Fielded our questions, offered enhancements to our current system without trying to sell us new hardware.

These guys are great, they really take the time to ensure a proper job. The owner routinely goes out on service calls and you can tell he truly cares about
building a solid reputation and trust for not only his business, but the industry as a whole. They are knowledgeable and are eager to keep me informed as to the condition of our systems. I've recommended them to several friends who have all had positive experiences.

Josiah was courteous and generous with his time and service. He diagnosed the problem and had it fixed in no time. Also, they were able to come out the same day I called! I am definitely a fan of this business and plan to route all my heating and cooling business to Obsidian.

I use Obsidian for my personal home and my rental today. I had them clean/ inspect/tune up both the furnace and Central Air Conditioning at both homes. One unit is 16 years old and the the other is 21- both well beyond the average life expectancy.
In the last few years, Other companies have tried to bully/scare me into buying new HVAC systems.

Obsidean’s approach was different.
We talked about various options and made a plan for the future…. When the time to replace units is imminent.
I would highly recommend Obsidian… they are my go to moving forward.
