Had some freezing issues with my ac until today. Called these guys around 830pm and they had a tech arrive 15 minutes later. They did a free diagnosis of my system and topped off my coolant. Had my system calibrated quickly. Everything about this experience was excellent; response time, knowledgeable tech, very informative, cost was very reasonable. I would recommend this company 100%

** New review for another experience, this time at a different property:
The tenants at our rental property reported that the A/C stopped working in the afternoon. The conditions inside became somewhat uncomfortable due to the warm and humid conditions outside. After trying some simple troubleshooting with the tenants with no success, I contacted Obsidian during the evening and they set up an appointment for the afternoon of the next day. The technicians arrived as promised. They found that there were actually two separate issues which came to a head at the same time. They quickly addressed the issues and got the A/C running again, much to the appreciation of both our tenants and us. The Obsidian technicians were friendly and professional. I was happy I hired them again, this time for a repair. (The first time was for an A/C and furnace replacement at our main property--see the below review.) Would definitely hire them again.

Our old A/C system (installed and serviced by a different company) was not cooling adequately. Called around 8 am on a Sunday morning and Dylan arrived around 1130 am. He diagnosed a coolant leak as I suspected. Given the expected cost to repair it along with the age of the system (i.e., near or past expected lifespan), we discussed A/C system replacement. Also discussed replacing our old furnace system (also installed and serviced by a different company) given its age as well as the issues we had over the past two winters. Dylan and two of his employees replaced both systems the following Thursday. Everything went smoothly. We are happy with our new A/C system. We felt the price for both the A/C and furnace systems was reasonable. We appreciated the honesty, friendliness and professionalism of Dylan and his employees. We felt they recommended only what needed to be done--without trying to up-sell. We are planning on staying with Obsidian for future checkups, service, etc. Would definitely hire them again.

I gotta be honest I’ve been doing this for a long time! And once I found these guys about four months ago, I told them I said look I’m not going anywhere else after meeting you! As a multi family complex operations manager, it’s hard to find somebody that I can trust!

Called in an emergency when furnace failed in cold weather. Dylan was out to work on it within 2 hrs. Great service

Great service, very professional, and very personable! We had some issues with our A/C not cooling & the fan on the furnace was not running properly - Josiah & Dylan came out the same night & gave it a tune up until we could get it replaced. 5 days later, they were able to get back out and replace both systems. Amazing response time & their quality was top notch! Will definitely be recommending to others!

Josiah came to look at my furnace. It was running intermittently and Josiah took his time running every test he could to find the problem. He was courteous and explained what he was doing and what it was measuring. There was no pressure to replace anything just honest answers. Will be going back if I need service again. Obsidian is great! My AC unit stopped working on a Saturday. I texted them and they came out shortly after and diagnosed and repaired the unit quickly. They always take the time to explain the issue, and repair costs are very reasonable. I’ve had them come out a couple of times for furnace maintenance as well. Great service. HIGHLY recommend.

1000000% recommend! When I talk about the Amazing service, great pricing, and just a pleasure to have around Dylan and Josiah are the best option around! I was so scared to have this happen during such a stressful time and they provided a temporary fix on our heater to provide the comfort to my family home and replaced it a few days later with a new system! They guided us with some financial options and just did such an excellent job! Very thankful for their service!

Saw lots of people mentioning this company online. Was able to get Dylan to come check out the heater in my garage next day. Immediately made some observations and recommendations for replacement sometime in the future, but going it up and running. Solid dude. Will be my guy for future HVAC business!

I called Obsidian when my Central Air unit decided its life was over. I spoke with one of the owners Dylan and he quickly responded with same day service to analyze my situation. After telling me the wonderful news of my situation, Dylan arranged his schedule to fit in the install before the upcoming 90 degree weather weekend forecast. These guys were all professional and took great pride in their work and accommodating my situation. As a veteran, I also appreciate that one of the owners is also a veteran. They helped a stranger in their time of need, so I am trying to help them with this truthful review. Do not hesitate to call these folks!

Dylan arrived on time. Was quick and efficient with his work but didn’t seem rushed while answering my many questions. He was very informative regarding the care and upkeep of my old system.
