Do NOT Use This Company
I’ve dealt with a lot of HVAC Companies in my life, but this has to be the single most miserable, condescending, passive-aggressive experience I’ve ever had with an HVAC company. The owner—let’s call her Karen because the irony is too perfect—is hands-down the most insufferable person I’ve ever had the displeasure of handing money to. (Very money hungry individual) The techs on the other hand were amazing. I really feel bad for the employees that have to be managed by such an individual. -
We had a crew of 4 or 5 people working on my steam boiler to re-establish connections to existing radiators. They were experienced, professional, knowledgeable, prompt and responsive. This was not an easy job, but I couldn’t be more pleased with the process and the results.

Switched to this company a year or two ago after using a few others and they are the best! Highly recommend. Josh came out today, and addressed an issue I’ve recently encountered. Got in the attic and everything! Terrific guy.

Routine furnace check. Everything in order, replaced filter, fast and friendly. We had an entire new system installed last spring, therefore there was no charge. Town & Country has always been easy to work with.

Town & Country Heating and Cooling was quick to respond to an issue with our furnace especially when a cold front was coming towards Kansas City. Sam was a great technician who was courteous and knowledgeable about our furnace and the company he represented. Thank you Sam for ensuring our furnace was fixed properly and it was functioning optimally!!! I highly recommend Sam and Town & Country Heating and Cooling!

My furnace went out so I called Town & Country. He came in and pinpointed the problem and cleaned a sensor and had it going shortly after he got here. Joel was a very nice guy and shook my hand and gave me estimates on other stuff. I was very pleased with their service.

I have an over 30 year old boiler system I couldn't kick on this fall. Town and Country came in with affordable maintenance and repair, their team was extremely knowledgeable and explained the system, cleaned it up and got me operating again. The maintenance plan they have is well worth it knowing I'm operating at full efficiency and safely. Thank you for the professionalism, expertise and affordability!

We recently had Town and Country replace our system. They took the time to figure out how to integrate with our existing zoning system, rather than spend another $4500 to replace it. Of the five companies that gave us proposals, they were the only ones to bring out their technical expert to figure out how to do it. The installation went smoothly, and then their senior tech came out the next day to do final adjustments and get it working perfectly. The new system is so much better; much quieter, better cooling and much more efficient. All for a relatively reasonable price. We highly recommend them.

Javier was great and did an excellent job. Our previous company we had was subpar and he was able to identify and solve issues with equipment that was not installed correctly by our previous company we had. Town and Country exceeded my expectations.

These guys are the best! They are maybe the only group in town that truly knows about residential boiler systems and how to fix them. We have a hot water radiator system and I don't trust it with anyone other than Town & Country. Can't say enough good things about their service, knowledge, and execution. 5 Stars!

Curtis was very professional and took the time to share what was being done and offered suggestions without any sales pressure. Thorough and Quality work!!! Highly recommended! Thank-You T&C

Nick Davis is the BEST! Nick arrived on time and went right to work inspecting my furnace system, making sure it was operating correctly. After completing my furnace maintenance, I asked Nick to ckeck out my outdoor AC unit for excessive noise. He tightened many loose screws on the housing which completely eliminated the noise issue. I would highly recommend Nick Davis for any HVAC service one might need. GREAT JOB!!!

Josh was incredible! Polite, well versed and had an answer to every single question I had. He was patient and beyond helpful. Without doubt will be using Town & Country services again!

Roger (Sales) and Travis (HVAC) were both professional and personable. Couldn't ask for two better guys to work with. Roger gave me confidence with his knowledge about different options, while Travis was very detailed and meticulous with the installation and testing of the furnace and heat pump. He was also very helpful in training my wife and me on the new Lennox Smart Thermostat app. Overall, we had a great experience with Town and Country Heating and Cooling. We look forward working with them going forward. Great job Roger and Travis (and team)!

Josh was so knowledgeable and experienced and he did not mind us sitting there and learning what we could do better with our furnace and air conditioner to ensure that it didn’t break down again. He was kind he was patient and this was an emergency call and it was so reasonable And he gave us a lot of preventative tips to keep this from happening. He was just an amazing person that came out and worked. I would recommend Town & Country to anyone. I think you so much for sending Josh out. It was a wonderful experience.

Rodger came out to look at our furnace. He’s was extremely thorough and explained everything to us. He got it up and running and made sure it was running safely. Rodger is a genuinely great guy who is in hvac for the right reasons which is hard to come by nowadays. They have a new regular customer and we will recommend them to everyone.

A few years ago, I purchased an entirely new Bosch heat pump system from Town & Country. The installation was excellent and the crew was very knowledgable. I have a service contract with them and every six months they come out and service the system. I could do the service myself but I'm dealing with a health issue and if I'm unable, I don't want my wife to worry about it. As with the install, the technicians were very good.
Then, this past fall, a technician came out to service my system. The first shocker was being told that Town & Country no longer dealt in Bosch and Daikin, two of the finest brands in HVAC and were now exclusively Lennox. The technician was a relatively new hire who'd not been to my home previously. He said he'd attended HVAC school locally so I felt at ease. Then he began the servicing which brought the second shocker. He had no clue how the Bosch system operated and couldn't figure out why it wasn't working as he wanted. I gave him plenty of time to figure it out. He then called his office and the person he spoke with was equally clueless, or the tech completely misunderstood what he was being told.
A short time later he left, and I was relieved. I went back into the house and made the corrections myself. The system worked as expected.
Topping all this, Town & Country never requested feedback, something commonly done nowadays. Then, two months later, they request a review on this forum, so here it is.
It's incredibly disappointing how quickly such a good company can change and nosedive.
Choosing Town & Country is ultimately your choice. I, however, may have to search elsewhere for a qualified Bosch dealer and service company. That's sad. -
On 1/16/26 Sam Worthy (Service Technician at Town & Country Heating
& Cooling Company) performed an annual service checkup on our Lennox furnace. Sam did an Outstanding Job! Sam was courteous, polite, friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. He took his time, was very thorough, and answered all of our questions. I would highly recommend Town & Country Heating & Cooling Company if you ever need service for your furnace or air conditioner. Will came out and serviced our furnace today and I thought he as great. We very much appreciated his honesty and candor with respect to the condition of our furnace. We recently had our furnace tuned up by our normal HVAC company (or at least they used to be before today) and when they showed up the repair tech had a second person with him who was quite clearly a salesman. This was very suspect to begin with, as they had never sent a second person with their tech on any prior visits. Our suspicions were further elevated when they proceeded to find a litany of issues and recommended a new unit. Of course, having the sales guy right there was super handy and convenient for them to pitch all the options. Given how suspect this was, we sought a second opinion. We noticed Town & Country was actually the only local HVAC company with a 5 star Google rating, so we called them to come out and inspect the unit. Will seemed very thorough, advised us that he didn’t think we needed a new unit at this time, and that, while our unit was getting a little long in the tooth, there were no red flags suggesting we needed to pursue a new furnace in the immediate future. The Town & Country prices and maintenance plan they provided information on were also more reasonable than our now former provider. Needless to say, I now understand why Town & Country has a 5 star Google rating and would definitely recommend them. We immediately made the switch.

I was very impressed by Mission representative, Michael, who came on time and even on Saturday. While the job could not be finished that day, a time the following week was set to complete. I was also impressed with the courtesy and competence of Mission employees. Their initial fee to come to the home is also very reasonable. Well done!

had a new heating and air system installed in July 2022 , today my heat is out and the technician told me it was because of no ground on that circuit , and that when it was installed they just tricked the system to get it to work . I was not informed of that when the system was put in, which was in the summer now its winter and i have to get a electrician out to run a new circuit so i can have heat
