Outstanding company beginning with the customer service personnel to the repair staff. Just excellent - I have used them for over 12 years and spent a total of almost $9,000 (new AC, new furnace, twice-yearly maintenance) and if I thought they weren't outstanding I'd never have continued to use them. When they installed the new gas furnace the cost for the specific furnace model alone was $900 less than the former HVAC company I had been with and subsequent interactions confirmed to me that they're honest, extremely knowledgeable and conscientious. You cannot go wrong with this company.

I had stopped using Polar Aire several years ago . You could not get timely service and the woman answering the phone at that time was very rude. I knew they had a new owner so I used them for a furnace repair today. First of all Mindy was very polite when I called . Tyler was here at the appointment time even a bit early. He answered all questions and did the needed repair. I will use them again .

I had to replace my Furnace and since our A/C and water heaters were old I decided to replace those as well. Travis came out and listened to me and gave me a bid based on my conversation with him. I had a couple others come out and although professional I didn’t feel they listened and in 1 case gave me a bid for what I did not want. We decided on Polar Jason and his teammate came out and performed flawless work. Everything that was promised was delivered and we are very happy with the service and products we received so far. I can’t wait for winter to see how this new modern furnace operates and heats our house. Thank you to the team at Polat - Travis, Jason and Jessica - sorry I don’t remember the other gentleman’s name but he was awesome too.

I can't overstate how great Polar Aire was to work with! Without going into too much detail, we had a bit of a heating/cooling/water heater crisis, and Scott with Polar Aire did a great job helping us explore our options. His bid was also by far the most competitive! Scott was great in helping me get the needed documentation to submit to our homeowner's insurance and to the buyer of our home. I do not recall the installer's name, but he was also great to work with.

Polar Aire have been performing a stellar job in maintaining (and fixing) my archaic HVAC system since I moved into my house. The unit was installed over 20 years ago, and still functions in tip-top shape thanks to the folks at Polar Aire. They've been reliable, professional and quite fantastic to this repeat customer. All my Thanks to the technicians and staff for being such great folks.

Tyler has been doing our twice yearly maintenance for several years now. He has always been extremely courteous, neat and best of all knowledgeable about our heat pump maintenance and repair. I am quick to recommend Polar Aire to others based on my experiences.

Excellent company and service employees. Travis gave us a great price for a new Carrier air conditioner installation. It was installed yesterday by Jason in 4 hours. Polar aire gives a lifetime warranty on the installation. Travis returned today to check on performance of the new unit and quality of Jason's work. All was perfect! I highly recommend this company and employees for all your HVAC needs.

Last week we had Polar Aire install a new furnace and AC unit. Scott was very detail oriented and did a great job answering my questions. He also provided us with a very competitive bid. Mike and Jason did a great job on the install as well as explaining the features of the system. Thanks Polar Aire!

Tyler's service was excellent - professional, informative, thorough, and effective. We appreciated how thorough he was in checking the furnace after installing the new induced draft motor.
However on Sat 12/31, Alex came out and diagnosed the problem with our furnace. We had just returned from a trip, and we could not continue with the work that evening. He said he would get the part on Monday and would call and come out to to make the repair. He did not call on Monday and did not make the repair, which was written on the Description of work. So in the afternoon, I called the office and Tyler came out and made the repair. The furnace seems to be working perfectly now.

Tyler performed a semi-annual checkup of our AC recently and was a pleasure to meet. He was on-time, friendly, thorough and professional. I couldn't ask for a better experience. We are happy with our Polar Aire service and have used them for years.

Jason did an awesome clean install of a large full replacement job. He obviously takes pride in his work. Travis was patient and worked with me for months while I tried to make a decision on the best option to install. Reasonable price for the somewhat complicated full replacement and zoning I had done.

EDITED: We have since my original review in 2018 had Polar Aire work on an issue at our home (5/2019). Tyler showed up to do an inspection and found an issue - stayed to fix it that day. Explained it to the hubby and showed him the issue. Now our bedroom is actually cool at night and our bill has already shown the repair will pay for itself in less than 12 months. AGAIN Polar Aire exceeded our expections. So impressed!

Polar Aire proved - Customer Service FOR A FAIR PRICE - IS NOT DEAD!
Waited a month to write this to ensure all went as great as originally thought - and it did! We have a rental property in Prairie Village - it is June 2018 - with heat index over 100F for days on end. Home won't cool - tenants need a new unit - ASAP. We had a maintenance agreement with a certain AC company - asked them to come out and price a new unit (basically a guaranteed sale) - but they INSISTED I be onsite as the decision maker / owner. Polar Aire said they could easily explain to me over the phone all about the new unit (size - capacity), warranties, time frame, etc. - as we were leaving on vacation. Sales person came by our house and pick up the check so we wouldn't have to delay our vacation! They replaced the unit within (3) days - right when they said they would be there - GREAT PRICE (had priced new unit 2 years prior - Polar Aire was $2k LESS) - GREAT SERVICE. Did everything they said they would do. Service manger called after to ensure we were satisfied - not only w/price but with the service as well. Tenants said installation went great - and installer was nice, clean and very professional. Have cancelled our agreement with "other company" and will only use Polar Aire for all our personal and business needs!!

Tyler did our annual furnace check today. He was of great help last year diagnosing a furnace problem, so I was more than glad to see that he was our service technician this fall. I have always been satisfied with Polar Aire.

My experience with Polar Aire has been excellent. The salesman was very thorough and helpful during my buying process. The technicians were extremely knowledgeable, prompt and even helped me understand the issues I was having. Management and ownership seemed very dedicated to the customers needs and are willing to go the extra mile to make sure I am happy. All in all I would highly recommend Polar Aire to anyone for their HVAC needs.

We needed to get a new furnace so I got 3 estimates. Scott from Polar Aire spent the time with us and gave us multiple options that we could select from. He laid out the facts and did not try to pressure us into making a decision. He gave us a very good price and we went with Polar Aire. The installers (Keith) did an excellent job. They were very nice and kept the work site very clean. They answered all the questions we had. I could not ask for a better job from start to finish. Thanks

Last Tuesday, Polar Aire installed a new furnace and air conditioner in my house. I had asked for an estimate, and was very impressed with the detailed and well-explained talk by Scott, and the personalized data he provided. After choosing this company, I was amazed that the process was completed so swiftly and efficiently by Matt and Jason, overseen by Scott. All work was done as promised, with promptness, quietness, and professionalism. They left my house cleaner than they found it. All three were lovely, thoughtful people which I enjoyed interacting with. I am happy to have found this company and will continue to use them and recommend them!

We have overall used Polar Aire for over a decade at both our previous and current homes. We have always received prompt, professional, effective service. Most recently, we placed a call during the weekend, leaving a message with the answering. It was one of our hot summer days.. Within a very reasonable time frame, we received a call from the on-call tech, Tyler. who then gave us the opportunity to have our HVAC checked out the next day. Tyler was prompt, walked us through what he did, explained what caused the issue and what to do in order to avoid issues next time. Although weekend calls are not the cost-efficient way to go, we received peace of mind and service that was definitely worth it. Thank you!!! Chris and Gloria P.

Update; After leaving the review below, I was contacted by Polar Aire and was told they had made a mistake with my billing, then they ended up refunding the entire $178.00 for the first call and an additional $530.56 off of the second call. The entire cost to repair my furnace ended up costing me only $288.36, more than fair! Thank you for correcting the mistake!

My furnace stopped working the day with -30 windchill so I had Polar Aire come to diagnose the issue for $178.00 including $99.00 overtime fee. After one hour, the Tech diagnosed my issue as needing a new control panel but could not fix it because the supply stores were closed. He assured me that he would call me the next morning to follow up but never did. I went online and found the part number I needed for a new control panel, luckily was able to find a supplier who had it in stock, purchased it and made the repair myself (I am a licensed General Contractor). However, the furnace still did not work! I contacted Polar Aire again, so they sent another Tech (different person requested). After roughly 1.25 hours, the Tech told me I needed a new Pressure Switch and quoted me $818.92 to make the repair. In total, the Tech spent 2.25 hours from the time he arrived until the time he left and I paid them $818.92. I then went online and found the exact part number listed at an MSRP of only $68.46!!! If that's not price gouging, I'm not sure what is...Over $333.00 per hour??!! Let's not forget that I paid the first Tech. $178.00 for a misdiagnosis and spent another $220.00 for a new Control Panel that I didn't even need. Total paid to Polar Aire for 3.25 hours labor and two trips was $996.92 and all I needed was a $70.00 part!!!!

Great service for my annual inspection! Tyler is very knowledgeable and gave me some tips on how to save on my electricity bill. Also fast, on time and very reasonable cost. Office staff was great too. He also discovered my thermostat was not properly wired and was just running on batteries (and fixed). I highly recommend Polar Air.

My home air conditioner stopped blowing cold air. I called Polar Aire, and their technician, Tyler H., arrived at my house that same afternoon. Tyler had everything fixed within 30 minutes. This is the third time Tyler has fixed my air conditioner over the past couple of years. He has always been timely, professional, and courteous. I always know Tyler will correct my problem, and I'm always surprised how inexpensive the service is!!!

I had them come out and do an estimate on replacing my HVAC system. They did a great job and the prices were right on budget. We did end up going elsewhere due to a guarantee of no overages from the estimate which Polar Aire does not do. But that is more because we had previous experience with the other company.
I would recommend this company to others despite this. Their technician was open to all costs and concerns on their side and totally professional throughout. They deserve a second look from me and will get it in the future.
