Manny, Manny, and Jose(?) came at 6:00 this evening and installed a garbage disposal in the sink and fixed a bathroom pipe leak. They were all three polite, friendly, and easy to visit with. They finished the jobs in less than an hour and left the work areas clean and uncluttered. They seem to enjoy their work and take pride in their work, and I appreciate their efficiency. Oh, and they like sugar cookies!

The installer arrived on time and worked quickly, which I appreciated. However, for a $6,800 job, the quality was disappointing: one living room register was missing, airflow was uneven, a rough hole was cut, registers were left dangling, no covers were installed, and debris remained. Overall, the work is sloppy, unfinished, and not industry standard.

AIrtech is the best company we have ever worked with for repairing, purchasing, or servicing AC / Furnace units. I was referred to Ryan at Airtech after getting competing bids from Overland Park Heating & Cooling and KB Complete for our new AC and Furnace units. Airtech saved us thousands in cost for the exact same model #'s the other companies bid!! Airtech exceeded our expectations and the entire project was completed in one day !! I will recommend Ryan and Airtech to everyone I know as he is HONEST, PROFESSIONAL, HARDWORKING AND DOES AN ABSOLUTE FANTASTIC JOB!! Derek and OPHC are amazing. They are clear and concise, take time to answer my questions, and discuss relevant options. OPHC is the only company I use for my HVAC.

Last winter I used Overland Park Heating & Cooling for some minor furnace work.
I recently used them again for an issue with our whole house humidifier. With our manual humidistat set at 45, I was not seeing water empty out the drain hose. I checked the saddle valve, water panel and water line feed tubes coming in & out of the solenoid valve. Having good water pressure with no blockages, I replaced the solenoid valve. Still not seeing water empty out the drain hose, I suspected the issue was the humidistat. I couldn’t find a YouTube video on how the humidistat was wired inside the plenum, so I called O.P. Heating & Cooling.
The serviceman came out, diagnosed the issue as the humidistat. He said he had a manual humidistat in his van and asked if I wanted him to replace it. I told him that there was the exact manufacturers humidistat on Amazon for $48.00 but I didn’t know how to access the two wires that connect to the terminals. He said “yes it can be kind of tricky to access them”. He said it would be $147 for the new humidistat. And of course, $109 for the service call. I agreed to have him replace it.
When he pulled the old humidistat out the two wires that connect it were right there in the plenum opening behind the humidistat. I certainly didn’t expect him to offer to pull out the humidistat and show me how it was wired before I agreed to have him replace it. However, I do think it would have been more than reasonable if he had just told me that the wiring is accessed in the plenum opening. I would have gladly paid the service fee and told him I’ll see him next time.
I get that some people do very little home repairs. I prefer to do what I feel I can. If I don’t think I have the expertise to do a repair, then I have no problem calling a professional.
Locating and attaching the two low-voltage wires to the two screws (terminals) is not at all “tricky”!
O.P. Heating & Cooling made the “sale” but they surely did not keep a repeat customer.

I have had Overland Park Heating & Cooling work on my HVAC for around a decade and I couldn't be more impressed with their most recent service, particularly the expertise and dedication of Doug Crews. Our AC unit had a leak that another company couldn't identify, but Doug's meticulous approach and thorough inspection uncovered the issue. Doug, along with his colleague Dan, were both great to work with and came up with a comprehensive plan for the fix. Would highly recommend them for their exceptional service and for their expertise and dedication.

OP Heating and Cooling are always great. We have used them for the better part of 10 years for ALL our a/c and furnace stuff, for installing and maintaining our whole house humidifier, and also for major plumbing like replacing our main line shut-off valve. They also amended a major issue with our hot water heater caused by our home warranty company's bad installation. Highly recommend.

Dan is our guy for our regular furnace/AC/humidifier servicing, and he's always very friendly, and makes sure we're in good shape for the season. Excellent service every time, and remembers details about some specific needs of our system without any reminders.

Derek took care of inspecting and cleaning our A/C quickly and in a professional manner.

I called on a Saturday in a snowstorm and they came out, diagnosed, and fixed the problem with my furnace all within 2 hours of my initial call! So impressed with their service, especially our tech Derek. He was helpful, knowledgeable, and fixed my issue really quickly!

Our air conditioning stopped working on Wednesday evening and I called Overland Park heating and air Wednesday evening very late and they called me back first thing Thursday morning at 8 AM. A technician was at our house by 9:30 and our AC was working again so quickly this morning! The service guy is awesome and we’ve met him before! Highly highly recommend this company – they’re awesome!
