We have used Hanna for over 10 years and are very happy with their professionalism. They are all friendly and knowledgeable. We recently had Dustin come and do our spring check up and he was very thorough. We definitely recommend Hanna!!!!

It just started snowing in Wichita and, lo and behold, the furnace wasn't turning on. In about 5 minutes my technician, Adam, figured out the problem and was able to change it out within the half hour. He was incredibly friendly and, despite how annoying it may be to be asked questions, was more than willing to answer questions about what was wrong and how he was going to fix it, giving me pointers on maintenance as well. The repair was somewhat pricey however, having paid $340 for replacement of an igniter including the $98 fee for emergency service call. I would say that, for peace of mind knowing that it was done right, it was worth the cost.

We've used Hanna Heating and Air Conditioning several times for seasonal tune ups since 2012. They've always been courteous, professional and very detailed about what needs to be done and the cost/potential cost involved.
Their customer service on the phone as well as in person is a huge reason I would recommend them to anyone and everyone. -
Cesar and his crew did full central air install for me, from replacing ductwork to putting in the unit. They were friendly, professional, productive, and asked my opinion on every decision they had to make.
Danny did the quotes for both my new heater when I bought the house, and this install. Very professional and efficient. Had a good time talking to him and the crew both.
At no point did having them in my house feel awkward or uncomfortable. I could not be happier with their service. -
My experience with Hanna has been the best ! My air went out on the hottest day of the year. i had just closed on my house on 6/26/20 and five days later i needed a compressor, unfortunely it was also the week of the 4th. Mike was so sympathetic he made sure i received a portable air conditioner and they promptly installed my compressor. i highly recommend their services.

No mention of the $98 call fee just for pulling in the driveway.
I’m a DIY maintainer, and my father has been in HVAC for 35+ years, so I know my way around these systems. I also know when to call in a professional.
My evaporator coil sprung a leak on Sunday night. My dad recommended I call four reputable companies that he knew of, and Hanna was one of them. I called and left a message after hours. They were the first of the four to call me back Monday morning and said they could send a tech out at 8a. Swell!
He was prompt. So far, so good. I told him I had already diagnosed the problem, taken off the panels to expose the coil; I even had video of where the leak was. I said I didn’t want it repaired, since R22 is too expensive now, but I wanted a quote on a drop-in coil and recharge with Freon MO99; that’s what my dad recommended since my outside unit is still in good shape. The tech said they don’t do that, but he would estimate an entire system replacement. Not what I wanted, but it never hurts to have all of your options to consider. He took some measurements and pictures. At this point, he had been at my house for 5-10 minutes.
I offered to let him go to his next call — since I know that time is money in this business — and send me the estimate later in the day. He said it would only take a few minutes to write up the estimate. Okay, suit yourself.
Ten minutes later, he hands me the estimate and said, “That will be $98.” Wait, what?
He said they spend a lot of time running around these days, diagnosing old R22 systems without repairing them due to the cost of R22 now, so they are pretty much just writing estimates and not performing service, but they have to make money somehow. Hey, that sucks, but that’s not my problem. I didn’t argue with him since I knew it wasn’t his call to make, he was just doing his job. So, I paid the fee and called the office.
I explained the situation, that all I needed was an estimate for replacement, no diagnostic was done by the tech because I had already diagnosed the problem, so why do I have to pay this fee? “We don’t work for free,” was Jim’s response.
Well, I never asked you to, but no “work” was done. He was here for 15-20 minutes, the better part of that writing the estimate, and you charged me $98 for a piece of paper with some ink on it? He said that is the fee for being called out, period.
I told Jim that never have I ever had to pay for an estimate for installation of anything — fencing, plumbing, gutters, painting, windows, siding — and that, from my perspective, this was no different. He asked me what other HVAC companies were out there that I knew of that would “work for free.” Again, I said that’s not what I was asking for, but since he asked, I told him that after his tech left, I had received a FREE estimate from Aire Serv for a drop-in coil, which is what I asked for in the first place.
Jim doubled down on charging the fee because I requested someone come out, and they responded right away when I called. I told him I called the night before and that they just happened to be the first call back I received, but no mention of the fee to send the tech when they did.
“We tell everyone about the call fee, sir,” to which I responded that if I would have known they were going to charge me $98 to pull into my driveway, I would have told them not to bother.
At this point, Jim sounded pretty miffed, and after a brief hold, he hopped back on the line to tell me he was refunding the $98, but “just don’t call us again, you probably never will anyway. If you want free work, call your dad.”
Unnecessary escalation on Jim’s part, just because I knew what I was talking about and I had the nerve to call out their backdoor method of skimming $100 from unsuspecting people.
In other news, I highly recommend John and the kind folks at Aire Serv. My new coil is working perfectly, for 1/3 of the price Hanna wanted for a full system install that I didn’t need. -
Last week we had a new HVAC installed by Steve and Caesar. We’ve had a week with it and we are very happy with the installation they did. It took most of a day and they did everything we asked. Everyone we felt with seemed honest and I never felt any high pressure sales pitches. All in all I feel that they had wanted what would be best for us and talked us back from a more expensive unit because it wouldn’t pay for itself in the life of the units. I think Jason did a good job on the bids, we had 3 other vendors out and they came in under them all for what we were looking for.

Ben S. came to our home recently to take care of maintenance needed on our utilities. He went above and beyond what we asked of him. Not only was he professional & courteous, he was punctual and made sure that our needs were met before leaving. Ben is a great representation of the quality service that Hanna provides.

I just got a new heat and air system from Hanna. DANNY, JAMES and KIRK were wonderful. It was a complicated 2 day job, and the city inspector said they did a great job! Hanna is attentive, professional, affordable, and great to work with. Best company in Wichita! Thank you. BECKY WOLD

I had a furnace issue and Hanna Heating and Air had me back up and running in no time. They were very professional, from the office staff to the technician, and were flexible and accommodating; changing their visit time to work with my schedule. Adam did a great job fixing my system and explaining clearly what he found and how he fixed it. I would highly recommend them for any HVAC needs.

The AC went out in my home yesterday. My home owner's warranty assigned Hanna to the job. When I contacted the tech to ask what time he might be able to come out to my house, he informed me that he was putting me at the end of the line because it was a "hassle" to get paid when a customer has a home owner's warranty. He assured me that he would be out to the house today, but when he neither called nor came to my house, I called him again. He stated that his supervisor cancelled my service request because of the warranty. Please do not use Hanna for your heating/cooling needs. They are far-more interested in receiving money than in treating the customer with dignity and respect.

Hanna Heating and Air Conditioning is absolutely the best! Our unit burned up the weekend of Memorial Day. They gave us a portable unit to keep cool at night, as they were booked a week out before they could come. Steve and Cesar came and were absolutely the best, very professional and made sure I understood everything. So happy we did not go with “the guy” someone knows. We are pretty sure Hanna sent the best team they have over there. Thanks so much!!

Furnace went out the other day and I had been having to refill the refrigerant in the system as there was a slow leak in the evaporator coil, which was costing me several hundred dollars every summer. So I had to get an AC/furnace, after contacting several companies and getting their bids I found Hanna to be mid range between all of them. I chose Hanna mainly for their reputation and quality of their unit according to all of the reviews I looked through.
Everything is now installed and I would like to compliment the guys that did the install, they were very courteous and answered any and every question I put to them. I was very impressed, so thank you Steve and Ceasar. I will post another review in the summer once the air conditioner get a shot at making its presence known, I am hoping that the days of a $375 electric bill has seen its last. -
When our home air conditioner stopped working yesterday, Ben was the Hanna technician who answered the call.
> Ben’s work was accurate and complete, and his attitude was professional and friendly. He deserves to be recognized for his great customer service skills.
> Our thanks to Ben, and to Hanna Heating & Air Conditioning, for their great service. -
This company needs to do an evaluation on their employees and who’s allowed to drive. Not only that but let them take a company vehicle and purposefully park in intentions of blocking other vehicles in. This employee has been asked kindly to park in their open driveway but keeps performing these same tasks. The specific vehicle is a ram utility van numbered WMP 1 #52

May 17, 2023. Contacted Hanna for a service call to inspect the furnace blower. They came out on May 16th and informed me that the repair costs t replace the fan motor and module would be $1,770 for parts and labor. I checked with Washer Specialty for parts costs and they quoted $1,000. I contacted Hanna again to see why the labor cost would be $770 and if there may be an error, but no one reached back to me. At this time I am left with the only option of finding another company to complete the repair.
May 19. Update. Had another company come out. The blower motor tested fine and did not need replaced but the module did. Total cost for repair was $750 and works like a champ. Looking forward to summer. -
Our furnace went out and our home owners contacted this company for a bid to be completed. It was initially scheduled on a day and time that was not accommodating to our work schedule. We called to reschedule this and initially when I spoke with Renee about 3-4 weeks ago she seemed very annoyed and was not pleasant on the phone. She seemed frustrated that we needed to reschedule a time that accommodated our work schedule/lives. We were able to reschedule this for today and informed them at the time of the initial call that 4 would work best for us. Coordinating with this company has not been pleasant. Fast forward to today, we experience miscommunication and unprofessionalism on Renee and the office managers part. They were very rude and seemed to place blame on us that we missed our appointment due to the fact that we were at work. They called my husband, my husband told them 4pm. They informed him that they had a guy in route. We scheduled for after work and verbalized that we had this need initially so I am not sure why they thought 2 or 3 or whenever they got here would work. We were never told initially by Renee that they do not do set times, and only can confirm an arrival time in either am or pm. When I asked why this was not initially conveyed to us, she told me she did not have an answer and made a very unprofessional comment to me. Overall, I can relate In dealing with upset customers and can take fault in my own actions, however, how I was spoken to by these women was extremely rude, unprofessional, and if I was you I would make sure you just take the day off if you go through this company because they obviously don’t care that their customers are often renters and who work during the day.

Danny and crew did an outstanding job! Full system replacement was needed because of the age of the old one. They were able to get the job done within 2 days of the estimate. The crew was very professional and completed the work within 7 hours. Thank you Danny!

Jason came out to our house to quote for a new hvac. He had a quote and stock availability within minutes and had the best price. UPDATE!!! Unit that was suggested has worked out great. We are already seeing a reduction in gas usage. Installers were great. Very professional. Tidy and courteous. Awesome experience!!

Great company! Very responsive, timely, and affordable. We needed a whole replacement of our AC and furnace, Danny came to our home and was very thorough explaining the options. The team who came out were very professional, I would recommend them to my family and friends!

I have used Hanna in the past, probably 12-14 years ago. Called them for emergency service this past Thursday. The technician that showed up did an excellent job assessing the remedy and said he'd pass it on to his management for the next day because he didn't have the tools/parts to fix on the spot. Received a call from Hanna the next morning at 8:30 am stating they were looking at parts to fix my existing system and an estimate on brand new. So I waited. Never received a call back in this God forsaken heat. I called the 24hr number this morning, and received a call back from the company. They said that "Johnny" had called me back on Friday and left me a voicemail. I told this person I didn't have a missed call nor a voicemail. He said he'd pass it along. Waited a few hours and nothing. Called the number to speak with that particular person and he said he passed the message and was sorry. Um, that speaks volumes to me. If you don't want my business, just say so. It's 100 F'IN degrees out and I just want my ac fixed. If you're too busy, just say so and I'll search elsewhere, Johnny. Worse $185 I ever spent for a 20 minute evaluation and horrible customer service.
