Our AC went out this past Wednesday and I cannot say enough good things about these guys! Chris made sure all the options were given, worked with us and made sure we got our AC installed ASAP. Kobe and Alex did a fantastic job on the install, cleaned up like they’d never been here and made sure that the house was cooling before they left. Thank you guys!!! You’re the best!!

Gil was out today to do the Spring service on our a/c unit. He found an issue with the capacitor during his inspection and took care of it. He’s very knowledgeable, efficient, and the kind of person you want taking care of you and a great representative of Roth. We’ve used Roth for years, first my folks and now me, and would never consider switching.

I am so pleased to write this review about Roth Heating and Air!

I’ll start off this review by saying that the salesman we worked with, Joe Kraft, is a really good friend of mine. When our heat pump started having issues, we knew that we wanted to work with Joe and with Roth.

And I’m glad we did! Mike initially came out to service our existing pump and did a great job diagnosing and explaining the issue to me. Due to the cost of the repair my wife and I decided to replace our existing system with a new heat pump, furnace, and humidifier. Joe prepared some options for us and was both knowledgeable and helpful in aiding us to decide on the replacement.

Installation began shortly after. The installation team (Cody, Alex, and I wish I could remember the third technician’s name) was great! They took care of our home - laying out drop clothes on the carpet to protect it as they moved in and out of the house throughout the day. After the initial installation, another Roth technician who came to review the work noticed there was an issue with the computer board on the furnace and spent time trying to fix it. Eventually Jim came out and worked on it for another 2-3 hours - working even after 5 to make sure everything was in order. Jim was thorough, made sure things were working well, arranged to have an upgraded air filter system installed, and even offered to configure our humidifier to be controlled by the upstairs thermostat. Roth techs returned later to install the air filter system and Jim came back out to work on the humidifier.

The team at Roth saw the project all the way through - even when equipment and tight spaces in our basement presented challenges that required them to come out multiple times. Roth’s office staff, sales, and technicians were great to work with, and I’d highly recommend them to you for your home heating and cooling needs.

Gil was very smart and intelligent with his work. He even applied a special coupon with discount to the service he provided for my new house I bought. 5/5 customer service satisfaction from GIL!

We had duct cleaning done & had a wonderful experience. Our Roth technician, Rick, did a thorough job on our historic/vintage home that had never had prior duct cleaning in its 85 year history. He showed us before & after videos of inside ductwork. Impressive results! We noticed improved air quality right away. It has improved our family's health.

Gil at Roth, was professional and thorough. He did an excellent job and did it in a timely manner. Arrived on schedule and knowledgeable. He explained the problem and made sure it was done correctly. Will definitely ask for him again. Thank you Gil and Roth for the speedy response and amazing work.

I contacted Roth Heating & Air regarding an issue with my A/C unit (previous home owner went through them for the new system) and they were incredible! I am blown away by the responsiveness and quality of work. Not only did Rebecca work to get me scheduled within a few hours (and keep me updated), but the technician, Kobe, was phenomenal. He took the time to explain to me what the problem was and gave me several options for part replacement. He worked quickly and safely, all while answering my questions with a smile on his face and an incredibly great attitude. I may have only called Roth because it was their sticker on the side of the unit, but after dealing with them, I’m very happy and pleased that it was their sticker on the side!

Kobe was professional and excellent. He was extremely knowledgeable and fixed my grandmothers furnace during the holidays. Very thankful for for Roth Heating. Please give him a raise.

I wanted to give a huge praise to Tim the service tech who came to our home today. We have a service plan to get our unit cleaned in the spring and fall. Last spring we had a tech out who just ignored our error code in our unit. We have a $25k heat pump unit that we like to maintain to help prevent costly repairs. When Tim came out for our cleaning he noticed the code and our coils were frozen over. I let him know what has happened last year and that we just been clearing the code as the last tech suggested. Tim said oh no that’s not going to work. Even though he was only supposed to be here for an hour to do a cleaning he went above and beyond. He took the unit apart inside and out to troubleshoot it. He even called another tech Jim who’s been doing this for 40 years to confirm his diagnosis. We live in the country yet he ran back into to town to pick up the part and put everything back together in a timely manner. What only took a few hours and a couple hundred dollars just saved us thousands in future repairs. We are so thankful for Tim and also Jim for taking care of us. We highly recommend Roth!!

I have an old unit that had heating element issue. Tech couldn't find a replacement at the usual place. Said that Trane might have one. Paid $168.00 he left, no more contact. Now researching companies to put in a new unit.

Roth service our furnace today to make sure it was ready for winter and found a problem with the humidifier. Tony was our technician and did an amazing job. He took the time to explan everything to us and the process to repair our unit. Very professional and knowledgeable.

Gil showed up as scheduled, took the time to ascertain the situation and got to work.
We needed a new thermostat and after familiarizing himself with the wiring for our particular system the old thermostat was removed and the new one installed post haste! Safety protocols were used by shutting off power during installation. The new thermostat was programmed and all functions were tested. Gil took the time to explain how to operate our new device, cleaned up spare parts and tools and then went out to his service van. He returned with the invoice and made quick work of processing my payment.
Talk about professionalism, competence and customer relations - he hit all the bases!

Our heater quit working on Saturday when it was 2°. Randy, our technician was able to come out right away, got us up and running for the weekend and charged a reasonable rate. He was also extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. Will definitely be using them again.

Kobe and Christian where my technicians today and where two outstanding young gentlemen. Arrived on time and prepared to do the job assigned they where friendly every step of the way and took the time to protect my home while safely navigating all the obstacles in the way. I will be using Roth Heating and air in the future for ALL my hvac needs because of these two young gentlemen. My first experience with Roth - and it was great! They were able to come out the same day to take care of a furnace issue I was having. Kobe quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem for much less than I feared it might cost on that old of a unit. It's been working fine - which is great with the single digit forecast for the next few days. I will have them out this spring to do preventative maintenance on my a/c unit. I would highly recommend them!

Aug 1 2025 Update: Now that I’ve been able to experience the service side, I can confidently keep the five star review. Was having issues with the unit cooling, and they were ready to send someone same day, which unfortunately didn’t work with my schedule but they did come out the next day. Tim was able to quickly troubleshoot the unit and find the issue, and was able to get it working right until the replacement part can arrive. Still excellent service!

I have nothing but good to say about the service and communication we received from Roth. From the initial call to the final install everyone was friendly and professional. Joe Kraft talked over the options and gave several price quotes for the individual elements we needed to replace. Tony and Alex installed the equipment and got it taken care of in a very reasonable time. I signed paperwork on a Tuesday for financing and by Friday afternoon we had a new furnace in place of the sketchy 40 year old one, a new and upgraded air conditioner condenser and coil. Everything works right off the bat, so a win in my book! Unlike the old furnace, that I couldn’t trust to keep going as our cold season sets in, I have peace of mind our new equipment will keep us warm this winter, and the new air conditioner will actually be able to keep our house cool when summer gets here.
