I've been using Merry Maids for two years and am always pleased to come home to a clean house. They are always kind and pleasant, and don't mind when my cat follows them around 🙂

They were able to schedule me right away but the cleaning was just average. Came home to dusty shelves, rugs that weren’t swept, a shower that was not scrubbed and baseboards that weren’t cleaned. I expected more from a deep cleaning.

I paid $500 for the worst cleaning job I have ever seen. I was cleaning as I unpacked because there was still dust everywhere. The house wasn’t even in lo poor condition so there is no excuse for this. I asked for bathroom drawers to be vacuumed and cleaned because who wants reminded that someone else was there before you?? Not me! Had to go over it all and do it myself. And they came TWICE because I wasn’t happy the first time and the bathroom drawers still weren’t touched. Tops of doors and closets dirty. Not fluffy dust, like wipe away gray dirt dust. Had to do it all myself. They didn’t even touch the freezer because “it was on”…. What a poor excuse. I vacuumed it and cleaned it myself. My products didn’t “freeze” when I cleaned it. They are full of excuses and do a terrible job. I don’t have time to waste on bad service like this.

Kim is her name. Just ask for her. She knows what she’s doing, she takes pride in her work. She’s sweet, kind, and a really hard worker. I’ve had several other members of this team come to clean my home and by far she blows them out of the water! We love her.

Horrible cleaning service - Left our house WIDE open and doors open on a main road downtown. Unauthorized charge on our credit card for a second cleaning that was suppose to be free due to the poor nature of the first cleaning.
They will do a poor cleaning- charge your card, and stop answering your calls. STAY AWAY

The cleaning that was done this week was the most clean my house has been in years! She was thorough and worked really hard. Very impressive! She can clean my house anytime! Please send her back!

The service has been inconsistent. I’ve had three services so far and every time something is missed. Fortunately, when I provide immediate feedback, they send another maid. That’s great but it would be helpful if great job is done the first time.

Jessica takes her time and doesn’t rush! She’s amazing!

Merry Maids was sent out twice as a part of Cleaning for a Reason. Thank you for being generous in donating your services. Both ladies were kind and helpful. It was a nice experience.

I wish I could have left no stars. I don't feel I should have to clean my house after paying a cleaning service, and yet, that's exactly what I had to do. What a waste of my hard earned money.
I could not believe the attitude I got from them--They were EXTREMELY ill- mannered. I would be fired from my job for speaking to a customer in that tone of voice.
Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this cleaning service.
I would never recommend this service.

I've used merry maids Covington for 3 months and they are always on time. I do live in a 2 bedroom apartment so the cleaning process is fast there are just a couple things I wish they would hit in their cleaning routine. Such as my glass door. But I have been very pleased with it overall

Jessica did an excellent cleaning job yesterday. Would appreciate if she could come on Fridays as my regular cleaning person.

Kelly cleans our house. Kelly does an excellent job. She pays attention to detail and she checks her work.

Katherine did a fantastic job. I could tell when I walked in. It looked and smelled good. My kitchen and bathrooms looked very clean. And I always ask for the floors to be cleaned which I could tell were done. They are always on time and I appreciate that. I only had one disappointing cleaning since using their service and after I communicated this they came back the next day to make things right. Very satisfied.

If I could give ZERO stars, I would for the service I received from Merry Maids today. Shoddy work requires them to come out and clean things again. I have long silver 3 dimensional cabinet pulls that need to be cleaned of fingerprints inside. They are still dirty. In addition, one of the workers dragged my bar stool across my beautiful hardwood floor and created 2 - foot long embedded scrapes in my floor and other small scrapes all around it. I was told that because I didn't have felt on the bottom on my chairs, they would do NOTHING - not fix it or give me a discount. I was told by the person on the phone that it was customary for a person to drag chairs across a hardwood floor to move them. Yes, that's a true conversation. Even if it had felt on the bottom, there is no way I would ever drag a bar stool across a hardwood floor and they would be scratched anyway. It's common sense NOT to drag furniture across the floor. I'm extremely unhappy with the quality of work AND especially the service given this damage and how they handled it with me. Also, the procedure of hourly versus a flat fee should be discussed and explained more. I spent double the amount I did with another company a few years ago and they cleaned less space. I didn't even have the entire house cleaned. What ever happened to the customer is always right?

Disappointed in the cleaning. I made it clear that we were getting ready to sell and wanted a deep clean. I had to go back myself to clean the bathroom floor, sweep near the fridge, and noticed some of the inside cabinets were not cleaned well as discussed. It was a bigger house and only one cleaner was sent. I was impressed at how fast they responded and scheduled a cleaning.

Would not recommend. I set up a weekly clean and asked for an initial deep clean. They left our garage wide open and did not finish job the first time they came for a clean and did not do a “deep” clean like we paid for. When we called and complained they told us they would have someone come re-clean for free, but never did and then just showed up for the scheduled day, did absolutely nothing except make the bed and charged me again. Very disappointed and customer service is non responsive. I did not authorize the 2nd charge and feel it is a violation for them to use the card I provided as we had already told them we were not satisfied the first time. So much for guarantee clean

Great company and staff. I’ve experienced consistently good service over more than a year. Any concerns or suggestions I’ve shared have been addressed promptly and successfully. I would recommend this group to others in need of reliable cleaning service.
