Terrible experience!! The maids arrived a hour and a half earlier than expected, with no call prior to arrival. It didn’t really bother me too much because it was a Friday and I had things to do but a call would’ve been appropriate especially for super early arrival.

Now onto my 1 bed 1 bath… as they started to clean I was trying to be out of their way as much a possible (which wouldn’t have been an issue if I received a call prior to early arrival) so I gave them the space they needed in each area so that my place could be DEEP cleaned efficiently.

The first room that was cleaned was my bed room, I went in there to see if it was to my liking and nothing was dusted, vacuumed, or swept up. I had to tell one of the maids to clean all the trophies off my dresser, to clean the baseboards (because that was what I was told was included in the deep cleaning service), to get the dust of of the corners, etc. I told them “hey could you make sure you clean the baseboards and dust off my trophies… I asked for the deep clean”.

I finally was able to get myself ready to depart from my apartment to give the maids the accessibility to my apartment without being in the way. So I left with the expectations my needs will be met.. especially for the price I was paying. ($240)

I came back after my apartment was “deeply” cleaned and I was highly disappointed!! Nothing was dusted, baseboards weren’t cleaned, shower was efficiently cleaned, DIRTY dishes were put into my dishwasher which caused the food to grow mold!! It was a terrible terrible experience!! For a small 1 bed and 1 bath my apartment should have been left SPOTLESS.

I then called to complain about the service and the maids ended up coming out to my apartment for a SECOND time. I had to leave a note and list ALL the things that needed to be clean and the concerns I had with the first service and my apartment was still not deeply cleaned. They charged me $240 for something I could’ve done.

I am very known individual in the area and I am a UK grad that runs on the track team and I will let everyone know about my experience with Molly maid! This is a shame and I have picture to prove how my apartment was left AFTER the maids “cleaned” my apartment.

This service left me in a bind and didn’t care. Set my appointment on Sunday. Confirmed on Tuesday with their confirmation email. Call to schedule on Wednesday and they say sorry we don’t have staff to do it. I cancelled three other companies for quotes. I was on business travel all week. Moving out on Saturday. No way to get someone else in there. Asked for a supervisor to call me. Still waiting it’s Friday night. Have to turn keys in tomorrow. Thanks for nothing and no care to the customer. And please save the BS AI generated response to this about how sorry you are

If they clean like they drive you better lock up your fragile items. Had one in a little blue car basically push my F150 over so they could get on the EW connector ahead of me even though they were in the turning lane that had to merge. I guess right of way and right way is foreign to them.

One star because I appreciated the ladies who cleaned my house last month.
However, I scheduled for Thursday the company agreed then rescheduled me for Friday my hands were tied bc family was coming so yes I wanted the service. Then this month, they send automated text messages to “call to schedule” it took me three phone calls to get someone. I scheduled a week in advance for a specific time and date and then sent countless emails and text confirming the service in bold warning about less than 24hour cancellation policy. Day of service I call to confirm time of arrival- no answer had to leave a voicemail. No response until I emailed hours later asking the same question. Finally I get an estimate of arrival time 3 phone calls later of them going back and forth to Ask if it’s okay the ladies come the next day instead of arranged date. I asked to cancel service and not be charged since it was not my doing. Then a 4th call to say the ladies can be there in 40mins. It’s a little too late. Don’t use this service!

Tried getting back in touch via phone with no luck.
We aren't happy with our cleaning. We paid a lot of money and left clear instructions on what to clean. We are having a party and now we have a dirty house.
Unless this is fixed, We have no choice but to leave negative reviews.

The following was done on your deep cleaning:

Toilet seat in guest room was dirty

Baseboards hadn't been cleaned

Walls were covered in dust in spots

Appliances had food and dust behind.

Cabinets hadn't been cleaned

Shower and sinks were covered in scum. Not cleaned.

We also topped each of the three ladies $20. $60 extra dollars for this. We trusted your company and we received 50% completed with a "deep clean". Looking back at our video cam... There's a lot of standing around and sitting on the couch. 2 people to clean the ceiling fans.

The crew arrived on time. They were polite, friendly and professional. They did an excellent job cleaning the house.

The office is pleasant to work with and they return calls promptly.

Girls did a great job! Very thorough and house was sparkling clean and smelled great!

99% of the time when I come home it is very obvious that MerryMaids has done their job well. I would recommend them if you need a helping hand keeping your home clean.

I have used Merry Maids on and off for several years. Whether it is Spring/Fall cleaning or regular maintenance I am pleased with the results. They were especially kind to me when my elderly father was living with me and chores were plentiful.

5/31 - Generally, the cleaning is very good. Two things that bother me: 1- I do not care for the floor cleaning product you are now using. It makes the floors sticky. 2 - since Leslie retired, the crews are seldom the same, and I have to supervise more. It takes time to build a trusting relationship.

My initial service was not a good experience for a deep clean, not thorough, employees brusk, etc. I called the office and they sent out a new crew the next business day and did an excellent job cleaning this time with much more friendly people and much less personal invasion. I am pleased with how the office handled the situation.

It is the whole picture. It seems very rushed and not focused on small details such as the floor boards in all the rooms. They are white and just need a quick clean each visit. The handles in the house are not cleaned. Some in the kitchen get sticky and I hope they would start cleaning them.
It is all about the details. They only mopped up to the refrigerated door so when I opened the door it was really dirty.
Sometimes I feel they are just cleaning around things. Also the coffee pots etc. on the counters were not cleaned.I am not a person who cares about THINGS. I want them to feel free to do what they need while cleaning my small apartment.I have a living room, bedroom and bathroom, it should not be too difficult please do not have them rush through it since it just small.
Also, the last visit the office let her in and she never went by to have them re-lock the door. At 4:00 the office called me and they went back up to lock it. It was unlocked all day on the 18th floor.
I appreciate you all but since this will be long term, I hope we can work out the kinks together. And I feel that for what I am paying it should be more detailed and well done.
Thank you and tell the ladies - or lady since you seem to be sending only one person, they can move anything the need - like i said if something is not in the same place or gets broken I really do not care. Stuff is stuff
and I just need detailed cleanliness - and thank you all. It will get better I hope.

The ladies are VERY professional and do wonderful work! I love how clean my house is when the come. Easy to work with when my schedule changes. Great Service!!!!

I would have preferred the shift supervisor rang the door bell instead of just walking into my home without identifying himself first. I was in my kitchen & he just walked in on me. I must say I had a second of pure fear, I had to ask him who he was. Besides that very upsetting few minutes. I was then told that the women cleaning this first time were not going to be the ones that will be back again. I made it clear on the day the sales rep came to set up my rate that I want the same people EVERY TIME. I would have given them 5 stars if not for those issues. Thier cleaning & attention to detail was very pleasing to me. Then on the next visit at 45 min. Past arrival time I called the office & was told they were running late & the reason I was not notified was because the office was very busy with 3 workers out sick. Also she didnt know when they would arrive. My lady was one of them & since I prefer to have the same person I will wait until she comes back. I was told by missy in the office that she would call me after she called my lady about her return to work. I didnt receive a call until 7 am this morning. I waisted many hours & changed my schedule now for the 3rd time. Time will tell. I hope that in the future I can give the company as a whole 5 stars in the meantime I hope they change a few things.

Every time a clearning appointments come up, I have to confirm that that house is available, but I have no idea who is coming, or at what time. Sometimes the maids come at 8am, before we are ready. Sometimes they come at noon. Sometimes one person comes, sometimes two. Sometimes they clean bathrooms. Sometimes they don't. It just isn't a reliable service.

Merry Maids are fantastic! They do such a wonderful job. 10 out of 10

Kim and Kathy are great. Down to business and very professional. They put a professional touch on everything they did. I felt like my home was an upscale hotel when they left. But the real test was with the wife and she felt like she was able to relax in her own home. Everything clean and comfortable. We really did appreciate the quick response and scheduling the service in time for our pool party. One, huge weight taken off our shoulders. We can breath easier. Thank you.
