Paid for 4 hours of cleaning by a team of 2 for a 1700 square foot home that I was moving into. I honestly didn’t notice much of a cleaning compared to the carpet cleaning a d over cleaning I did myself. Shelves were still dirty when running my hand across them, cobwebs still in window blinds, Sheetrock dust still on mirrors, and a lot of debris under appliances. Not at all what I paid for and am highly disappointed.

Love my last team that came last week!! Hope to have them back next time! Sweet, personable, very thorough and were in and out quickly, due to me working from home and kids being on break.

booked them for a move-in deep clean. After the quoted 4.5 hours, they had spent an hour of that time smoking in their car, they had not touched the kitchen, including all the cabinets, fridge/freezer, and windows on lower level which had dog slobber marks all over from prior residents. Extremely disappointed.

We have had Merry Maids into our home for years and it's been a great experience. Wonderful communication, flexibility of scheduling, and our home always is cared for. Highly recommend!

One of your employees, Lena, did a rather poor job. Leslie was great. I spoke to Norma. Linda and they came over and inspected and finished the job on the following workday. They were very pleasant and understood the problems I had incurred.

Courtney and Laura are fantastic. They are sweet with my dogs and do an amazing job on my house. They do not rush, are very thorough and do an incredible Job. So happy with them!

As Kentucky's only Feng Shui Master, I teach the importance of having an orderly and clean home. I also understand that it isn't always going to happen at my house. So, I count on Merry Maids to keep me in line. I love having a clean and uncluttered place to live and work. They do a great job and the price is reasonable. I would recommend them to anyone. Things just go better when you can walk in the door, take a deep breath and say, "Gosh the house looks nice.".
July 2016: An addition...we had a slight mess here...the dishwasher decided to blow a hose and there's a ton of cleanup. Sylvia and Whitley came in and made sense of the chaos...I really appreciate that. Those girls are worth their weight in gold. The house doesn't "look nice" yet...but we did manage to organize the house so it's easier to get the work done. Thanks! I'll be calling on Merry Maids again. Great for scheduled cleanings, and those hourly emergencies!

I signed up for 20 cleanings with the promise of an initial deep clean followed by bi-monthly visits. The work quality was so poor, I felt compelled to cancel after only 2 cleanings and eat the $155 cancellation fee. They did offer to send a different team to clean, but I had already made other arrangements. I really wanted them to work out, but unfortunately it did not.

Did an amazing job. Went above my expectations.

Each of the teams I’ve had since returning have been very good. All have been flexible to meet our needs for the cleanings. They have been receptive to suggestions. We do a lot to prepare for their arrival which allows them to use their time here cleaning. I prefer having repeat teams/ individual when possible.

They always do a great job and I like being able to text and not have to call if I need to change up the schedule. Jessica and her partner (blanking on her name right now, I am the worst with names!!) are very thorough and sweet with my dogs as well.

Have used Merry Maids for many years. No major problems noted. Housekeeper very professional. Staff has always been accommodating to any issues I may have. Seems to be a little pricey for 1 & 1/2 to 2 hours of work.

I interviewed cleaning services for weeks, before I went with Merry Maids, I wasn't finding any other cleaning services that I liked. I'm very happy with Merry Maids! They are a little more expensive than some others but I assure you they are worth it. I will come home and everything is shining. Very Helpful Staff, follow up calls. I expected the home to smell very clean when I walked in even though it was being cleaned with hospital grade disinfectant, it did not. The lock box on the front door was closed but not locked. My Clients are in a rough divorce, this was an issue even though they have moved. Thank you for helping me on such short notice.

I needed help with one time cleaning after a death in the family. I called Merry Maids because I needed a cleaning service that could come in quickly and were insured and bonded. It was also right before a major holiday and I needed a lot of cleaning as I had been caring for parents who lived in another city. The consultant arrived promptly to look at my house and discuss the services I wanted. We set up a time and the cleaning team arrived promptly with all of their own supplies. The team worked quickly and efficiently. They finished in the minimum time discussed and I was very pleased with the result. The Merry Maid service definitely helped me at a very difficult time. I believe if you clearly communicate what you need done, you will be pleased with Merry Maids. The service was a good value and I am very glad I called them.

I called them out for a deep clean to see if I wanted to have them come to my grandmothers house consistently. they did not use the products I asked and left trash everywhere ( whats that about?). But thats not the real reason I felt I should leave this review. The best reason I could say for why you SHOULD NOT call these guys is I watched them from a distance. One guy they sent pretended to scrub the same spot for atleast 45 minutes. I would leave and come back and he was still pretending to clean the same spot. was really disappointed because we needed the house spotless to house relatives for my grandfathers passing.

First I want to start off by saying that the girls they send to clean are always very nice. I’m sure they are overworked and underpaid like everyone else. But, every time they leave and I look around I can’t help but cry about the money I’m wasting. I signed a contract that was for 24 cleanings I believe. I’ve been stuck in this contract for years. My house is barely 1300 square feet and they charge me 200 a month for maybe one hour of work. We work night shift so we usually have them skip an entire bedroom sometimes two! We’ve had them change our bedsheets maybe 3 times. They came today and I swear I don’t know what she did in my bathroom. There’s still scum in the bathtub. There are soap rings under all the bottles which show that they didn’t even clean the shower. They didn’t scrub the inside of the sink. They didn’t clean the inside of the toilet. She was in there for maybe 10 minutes and I honestly don’t know what she could’ve done in there. I’d welcome a supervisor to come look around. It physically pains me to basically flush 200 of my hard earned money down the toilet. Whatever you do don’t sign a contract with them. They want to charge me 400$ to get out of it.

I have been using Merry Maids for almost a year. I have been extremely happy with their service. They are very professional and timely in their responses to any questions I may have. Jennifer B is amazing and my home always looks fantastic after her visit. She treats my home and cleans it as if it were her own. I love coming home on the days she visits. Very happy and will continue to use for many years.

The maids arrived on-time and were very quick and efficient in their cleaning. I stayed home while they were there and was worried it may be awkward, it most definitely was not. They were very professional and treated my home respectfully. I will definitely be using this service again in the future.
