Known Mardy and John for over 10 years, they have worked on my HVAC in multiple houses. Professional, punctual, honest, and will do an amazing job.

Having previously experienced two other HVAC companies in Lexington I knew I needed to keep searching for one that I felt comfortable with when I landed on KATS. They were recommended by a neighbor. From the moment I called them, I felt confident in their expertise because one of the owners got on the phone to offer me his thoughts on my issue. They thoroughly assessed our situation when they came to our house so we’d have all the information we needed to make a big decision. They did not pressure us at all. Ultimately we ended up deciding to replace 2 AC and 2 Heating units at one time and it was a big pill to swallow. But we felt comfortable with KATS and how they would provide quality service. We are very happy with the outcome and trust them to do our maintenance from here out.

We have used KATs for 20 years and have always had prompt and efficient service. They recently replaced a furnace unit that they had noted for the last 3 years was aging and likely needing replaced at some point. They were not pushy at all during those visits but maintained it till it finally died. Great company.

KATS is a reliable, experienced and dedicated group; they take customer care seriously and have the expertise to backup the service. Mardy, John, Chris, Andrea and the rest of the crew have been with us going on 5 years, including re-ducting after remodeling. Great folks.

From start to finish, the team at KATS has been nothing short of excellent! We've worked with Chris in the past, and when our upstairs unit stopped working several weeks ago, he walked us through several repair options, knowing that a full replacement is a big investment. In the end, we opted for a new unit, and I couldn’t be happier with the entire process.

The install team came out just a few days later, and they were nothing short of professional. They took great care maneuvering the large HVAC unit into our attic, making sure not to scuff walls or floors—a level of attention to detail I really appreciate. And to top it off, they cleaned up after themselves, which is a HUGE gold star in my book!

I can't say enough great things about all the guys at KATS. Bought a house late last year with an aging gas furnace. Chris from KATS came out for some routine pre-winter maintenance and said it *might* make it through the winter if it didn't get too cold. Well, guess what. It got too cold, and the furnace gave up the ghost. Marty and his installers came out to get the new unit installed within a day and a half. Super professional, super knowledgeable, super efficient. HIGHLY recommended

Great experience from the start, Mardy came out to look at our addition and recommended a mini split system. Once the unit came in they got us scheduled! Danny & Conner were great, they made some suggestions on relocating the unit to fit our concerns and needs. They explained the system and how to operate and care for it. The install was quick and they did a great job cleaning up. I would definitely recommend KATS for your Heating & Cooling needs!!

Excellent from start to finish. We knew our furnace was nearing the end for quite some time and were nervous about such a big purchase since HVAC is not something we know much about. KATS was very accommodating and took as much time as we needed to explain everything going on. Even climbing in the attic with me to talk through everything that was done and returning two days later to install our smart thermostat.

Hi I'm Lulu. A cat who does reviews. To be honest, my human picked this place mainly because of the name. Which admittedly is a great name. They came out and to be fair they did the work and had a reasonable price. But the technician at one point asked my human if she had a husband or boyfriend who could help her maintain her AC unit and that's just not cool.

Always a great experience with KATS. They have installed 3 systems for us...most recently a mini-split for a recently enclosed back porch. Have also used them for maintenance issues as needed. Never disappointed.
