Having previously experienced two other HVAC companies in Lexington with modest satisfaction, I knew we needed to keep searching for one that we felt comfortable with. That’s when a neighbor recommended KATS.
From the moment one of the owners (John) came out and reviewed our heat pump, I felt confident in his expertise in correctly diagnosing our HVAC problems. After Mardy conducted his review, I felt even more comfortable and confident with his recommendation that a new properly sized heat pump was needed to resolve our HVAC issues. Both John & Mardy were very thorough in their explanations that made us feel comfortable with using KATS in resolving our HVAC issues. While replacing our heat pump system was a major unplanned expense, we felt comfortable that KATS would provide quality service and stand behind their work should problems arise. The entire KATS team was super professional, knowledgeable and efficient. We are incredibly pleased with the outcome and will trust KATS for all future HVAC needs.

Very solid company. Mardy quickly came out and assessed our system. Our family has some respiratory issues and needed special filtering systems installed with the new HVAC system. He explains the solutions and options thoroughly. Pricing was reasonable compared with other companies we asked for bids . The company responds promptly to phone and email contacts. The installers were clean, efficient, and professional. Most importantly the system works well. We will use this company for maintenance and other HVAC needs into the future.

During some of the hottest days of the year, my 34 year-old Trane a/c finally bit the dust!! Having used K.A.T.S. in an office situation previously, they were my first call to replace the unit. Mardy came out, assessed the situation, and he and his crew came out Monday morning, and took care of the problem!! He and the crew were very professional and friendly. They didn’t even mind my dog barking at them the entire time!! They were clean and courteous, and I highly recommend them!!

John Liver came out and did his best to fix our 35 year old HVAC but the compressor was locked up, so time for a new unit. Mardy came out that Friday afternoon and gave us a quote to replace the whole system. It is now Tuesday and our air is working perfectly! I forgot to ask if I got a rebate of the initial service call! LOL. Great bunch of folks all around.
