Cashiers were so nice and the worker dressed as an elf who posed for a picture with my uncooperative two year old. Means the world to me that they were all so nice!

Maggie was extremely helpful in my visit to the store along with the young man who loaded and boxed up a Christmas tree I purchased.

Beautiful, diverse flower selection. Some items in the store are over-priced, but you can usually catch things at a steal after the season is over.

Amazing staff! Extremely nice and helpful and love to chit chat. My mom and I are avid plant shoppers and this place honestly is the best priced and has the best selection in pretty much all of Shreveport/bossier area. You can never go wrong plant shopping here and also don’t forget to look at the terra-cotta pots that are very well priced!

We stopped into Ellis Home and Garden to shop for Christmas decorations for my daughter’s home while we were in town. The building is a bit worn but the decorations were nicely done and the prices reasonable. The staff were friendly and helpful, recommended.

I would actually give three & a half stars if I could. We need HALF STARS PLEASE GOOGLE.
We stopped in here our last trip to Bossier City for some pumpkins & hopes that there would be some fall photo ops. And we were really hoping for some activities of some kind, for kids. At the Longview location they have quite a few really cute photo ops during the fall and pre Covid they also had some activities for kids. We were pleasantly surprised with the HUGE & wide selection pumpkins though! I could have definitely done without the female employee that constantly followed us around & everytime we told our son to not pick up a pumpkin or whatever, she felt the need to chime in! It was honestly insane & unlike anything I've ever experienced before. She is the reason I am only giving three stars. If things are different our next visit, I'll absolutely edit my review. Also, if you're looking for Christmas decorations, look no further!

Chatted with Maggie in the Christmas tree section. She was AWESOME to chat with and spent some time answering all my questions! Their trees are beautifully decorated I took lots of ideas. The great thing about their tree decorating team is no matter the angle, you’ll see something different. Don’t forget to look for the special pop up Grinch 😉

Charles In the plant section was so helpful. He stopped what he was doing to show me the location of Rosemary and lavender plants I was looking for😊. This type of service is rare nowadays, so I just wanted to send a shout out and a hats off to Charles. 😊💃

Kim was very nice and helpful. She greeted me as soon as I walked into the store.

Tons and tons of wonderful plants and garden decor to choose from. If you enjoy gardening, now is a great time to go here because they still have fully stocked shelves of plants on a deep discount. On the inside, they have plenty of indoor home decor as well. Absolutely worth a visit!

There is a lady that works in the back with an accent that is incredibly rude every time we come in the store. She is constantly running off good business and we will not be using this store any longer. She physically removed things from our cart as we were standing in line that we were going to buy without asking any questions. It is ridiculous to go somewhere and spend over 200 dollars and get that kind of service. The cashier Gracie was extremely nice though.

Walked into a clean store with store clerks walking around helping customers. Was able to find some vases and plastic flowers pretty easy. Only had a little difficulty with getting ribbons made because the individual who makes the ribbons had left for the day. But we still managed to get some ribbon and the correct pricing. This place has alot of nice gift ideas and home decor.

I really do love all the Ellis locations! Staff is great and inventory is lovely. However, one thing I don’t love so much is the amount of text messaging ads. Don’t get me wrong…I love being part of their rewards club, but getting text after text every week is too much (for me at least). I think at most they should send one text a week maximum—enough to maintain consumer engagement but not so much that it’s comes off as spammy. I hope this suggestion is taken as nothing but constructive! Thank you, Ellis, for being such a great staple in our community. 💕🌷⛲️🪏🪴
