Very lovely shop, super nice staff. Delightful atmosphere. Prices are on the high side, though the products are unusual in design.

Very large greenhouse with plenty of plants to choose from. The prices on vegetables was good and fair. They also sell pots and sculptures as well. Very nice people and good customer service.

Best nursery in Huntsville, staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Plants and trees are in terrific shape. For us it is worth the half hour drive.
-
This nursery has a great selection of plants. Their prices are not competitive with surrounding nurseries though. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable about their plants.

Everyone who works here is the best. They know so much about plants. It makes you want to buy more.
Love love. Love them -
Beautiful place to shop but be aware of the return policies before buying. Seasonal decor has to be returned no later than 3 days after purchase, and that’s at the store’s discretion.

They started by being understaffed and not being able to get a description of what they have in stock over the phone.
As a landscaper this is a huge detriment, then when I went there to look at stick in person I had to go through 3 people and start over with each one telling them what I wanted and who I was with.
When I finally found a person to help me that is a greenhouse worker we wandered around for a while and they didn’t know where the plant I was looking for was.
Then I find the plant after the greenhouse worker walks past it and doesn’t recognize it.
Then I finally get to the register and they say in order to check out and get a discount for being a landscaper I have to fax in my SLP, which I completely understand, I asked if I could email it after I leave and the employee says yes that’s fine.
I get my SLP and am emailing it and I call them to ask if they can now apply the discount to the order and they say no. They can only apply it to new orders and cannot apply the discount to an old order.
Literally I could take these plants back in there with my receipt and get a refund and then buy them again and I would get the discount.
And no other nursery in the area requires an SLP for the landscapers discount.
Any nursery can sell good plants but it takes a great nursery to have good customer service.
I will literally drive to CatBird Seat in Madison or Indian Creek Nursery on Slaughter road being 25 minutes away before I go here again.
Coming from a landscaper this place was a complete waste of time and the plants at a 20% discount still would have been more expensive then Madison local nurseries. -
I absolutely love the greenery and shop with them often. I just called to ask a couple of questions about fall plants. The young lady was so rude. I was so taken back. I have never experienced this with the greenery before.

Adorable store! Great selection of plants and gifts

Stopped in to see if they do landscape design. Were quickly dismissed with a "our designer is booked out 2 years". They acted like we were bothering them. Very offensive. Will never shop there even though they have a beautiful store. Terrible customer service.

Love going here, great selection of houseplants and ferns.
The prices are reasonable and the plants are well cared for. I don't have worry about pest or disease. -
The Greenery is a beautiful business but I recently had a very disappointing experience with them. I bought a milkweed from them and it grew very well but never bloomed the whole summer. I called and talked with them and they gave no solution. I had hoped they would replace it but they just said "well maybe it will bloom later". We discussed where I planted it and that was not the issue as it grew tall, just no blooms. In early fall it died suddenly. I have always liked the greenery for its quality of plants but I was extremely disappointed in their lack of response to my dilemma and absence of trying to satisfy or help a disappointed customer.

I've been to every nursery in NE AL. Selection, quality, resources and staff are all great. However, they will not hold up to their 1 year guarantee. I brought a plant in that had died. I bought 4 total, 1 didn't make it. The lady there quickly got on the defensive and stated, we can't take that back in a nasty and rude way. Then she proceeded to go through a list with me from planting to watering to see if she could find a reason to blame the plant's death on me. She went with improper watering schedule. I told her I have an irrigation system. She asked me how much water it is putting out, I responded, "I don't know the exact output yet, but all the other plants are doing well which is a good indication." And that was not good enough for her. So, I just gave up. It was clearly going to be an issue not worthy of the stress. BTW: If you need a tree form ligustrum, Packs Nursery has them for $30 where the Greenery was selling them for $129!!

We went to The Greenery a couple weekends ago to do the pumpkin drip painting class. We had such a great time! Monica was awesome leading the class and let us be very creative with our painting. She was very interactive with us throughout the class and even made a cool video of me doing my pumpkin. We really enjoyed ourselves and look forward to other classes they may offer in the future.

I am so happy with the level of customer service I received from Monica over the last several weeks! I called to see if there were any yellow Lady Bank roses in stock yet, but they had not arrived for the season. Monica took my name and number, and said she would call back to let me know when they arrived. Most places wouldn’t even call back, but she called me back a few days later to let me know when they would be in...then the next week or so to tell me they arrived, AND that she picked the best one for me, and put my name on it. I feel like she went above and beyond what most would do, and it meant the world to me. I specifically needed a yellow Lady Banks to replace one that we lost in a move, which was given to us in memory of our miscarriage 6 years ago. Now, I have the prettiest blooms, and am reminded of our sweet angel in heaven...and also how sweet Monica was to get me what I requested! I will keep going back there, for sure!

This place is amazing. The variety and staff are top-notch. Very friendly.
Prices are a little higher, but the quality of their plants are better than anyone else around this area. -
Huge selection at affordable prices. I got two shrubs there. Staff friendly and educational and gave me a step by step planting guide! Awesome! Lowes and home depot don’t do that!

I was visiting to check out their houseplants. I was AMAZED that I hadn't heard of them before. They have a wonderful huge selection and everything was so healthy & beautiful! Lots of plants that you cannot find at big box stores. Kudos to The Greenery!!! Thanks so much!

Top notch staff! Very knowledgeable and helpful. We recently bought several plants and they went out of their way to make sure no dirt got in our car. I would recommend the Greenery over any nursery in this area.

My wife and I love going to The Greenery. We've purchased many bushes, herbs, and potted plants from them. We love buying the unusual; beautiful large Rabbit Leg Fern, Maidenhair ferns, unusual succulents, etc. Sometimes we just go to enjoy ourselves.
