Sam did an excellent job with my yard. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and took the time to answer all of my questions without rushing. I really appreciated how thorough he was and how clearly he explained everything. It’s obvious he cares about doing quality work and making sure his customers feel confident about the service.

Absolutely the worst experience ever
Not on time never finished the simple job that was promised Robert had a smooth way of talking to me but behind that smooth talking is nothing but a lazy guy wanting our money not recommended -
Love this place! Scott is so knowledgeable and friendly.

Don't waste your time or money on the kids activities.. I spent $40 on the terrarium project for my two girls.. they gave us plastic containers and a tiny dino you can get from dollar tree..other experiences that involved "child activities " have been cheap compared to what I spend at great big greenhouse. It is such a disappointment

Have had a great experience at the Great Big Greenhouse! I bought 5 trees and dozens of shrubs for my new house. The customer service is amazing! Annie put up with me for at least an hour one day, showing me all the things my landscaper suggested. I will definitely be returning!

Jordan helped us with a large landscape project for our house. Her and the staff did a great job of helping us with selections and coordinating with our installer to get all the plants to our house. Thanks for all your help!

Scott was absolutely incredible assisting me outside while I was looking for a new plant to add to my house! It was so hot and he kept saying we could go inside and chat if it would make me feel better. I’ve never had someone in customer service be so attentive! I am a new plant parent and his guidance and kindness made my shopping experience easier and more enjoyable. Kelly also helped me inside of the greenhouse when I was looking for some pots! She was extremely friendly and delivered invaluable advice on the importance of size and shape. Both individuals deserve a huge praise for their exceptional customer service (and patience haha). Thank you both so much! I will be coming back again soon.

Beautiful greenhouse with a vast array of plants selection. Very knowledgeable staff.

I had a wonderful shopping experience at this location recently! It really is Huge, with an amazing selection of plants and everything I needed to get them planted at home, plus they have some really cool other gift items. The atmosphere is super friendly and one young lady in particular - Leanna - was so helpful and knowledgeable about the flowers I was wanting, including tips for my deer visited yard! Her customer service level was outstanding, and all of the staff I encountered seemed friendly, which is a bit unusual in today’s world.

Mark was extremely helpful and helping my wife and I find the right outdoor shrubs. Had a very good variety.

I really do love the selection at GBG however the last two plants I’ve purchased have been infested with mealy bugs, luckily the last time I noticed them before getting it home and was able to return the plant. But for how much I’m paying for these plants they should not have mealy bugs especially not two times in a row set several months apart. Very disappointing…

Rating is from the houseplant shopping perspective. I am a houseplant collector. I like to come here and wander and see things that are on my wishlist in person. They often have an decent assortment of orchids. Some interesting philodendrons. All of the large settled plants are quite beautiful. They don't have a great selection of uncommon plants, which is what I go to hunt for. But. And this is a big but. The houseplants are absolutely overrun with mealybugs. You can see them on many many many plants. And even if you don't see them- trust me, they're there. Last time I went in, I saw them all over the fiddle leafs, orchids, hoyas, and staghorn ferns. I went in for the hoya sale and I bought one with no visible bugs and it is going to be in quarantine for quite a while- especially now two weeks later with the first mealybug sighting. Another con though not as bad, the prices are far from competitive. You can get lucky, but if you're in it for houseplants, you're likely to get a better deal and less bugs anywhere else. I've purchased plants from here a half dozen times, and I'm sure I will again, but be aware of what you're getting into if you decide to buy too!!

Very friendly and welcoming. To unload your truck, you must park in the parking lot, not in the back. You can stay overnight.

Huge variety of plants, wonderful options! Love the fall decorations, 5/5 would go again!

All I have to say is OMG, I had an AMAZING time at the greenhouse and Zoe was the best help anybody could ask for, she was vary informative on all the plants and her paintings are THE BEST. If you ever need help ask for Zoe

Indoor or outside plants and anything that pertains to them, this place has it. Even Santa Claus was there for the children. Lots of unique Christmas decorations were available and plenty of poinsettias in multiple varieties. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Everyone was covid compliant.

I have loved this place for many, many years, way before they set up shop in their current location. I always find happy, healthy plants, and the employees have always been helpful and nice.
I'm knocking one star off because holy heck, their prices have gone up, way up!
I mean, a spider plant was too rich for my blood on a recent trip.
I know, I know, I KNOW... Inflation! It's happening everywhere! But dang, it seems a little bit too extra in this case, and it breaks my heart.
Other than that, this place is absolutely fantastic, and what they sell is definitely top quality, of that there is no question. -
Nicole was fabulous! She helped me put a plan together and answered all my questions. She provided great service and was was very knowledgeable.

I'm not sure what I expected. Only one attendant actually displayed a willingness to help. I'll have to revisit just in case the vibe was off that day. Some of the proces were a bit more expensive than some of the other nurseries I've been to.

I visited for the first time today upon the recommendation of a colleague. While the plants were beautiful, the abysmal customer service made it such that I will never return.
First, a couple of individuals who appeared to work at the establishment never even acknowledged my presence as I walked around. A simple “hello” or other similar greeting can go a long way.
Second, I’m new to the plant world and the nursery is pretty intimidating. Signage explaining what the various plants were was sorely lacking.
Finally, after walking around for a bit, I asked an employee where I could find/if she could recommend indoor plants that were cat-friendly. I didn’t think that was an unusual request. She apparently wasn’t in the mood to be helpful - she basically told me to check the ASPCA website and then find those plants; couldn’t direct me to them, but as I walked away, she told me to stay away from plants that looked more like “grass.” I thanked her, left the establishment, and went to another nursery a few miles away (where I had a completely different, far superior experience).
If you have plant knowledge and require little assistance, this is the place for you. If you need guidance, I’d suggest you go elsewhere. -
When to find some June-Bearing strawberries got a bit overwhelmed trying to find them and Meg came out of nowhere and said "oh, I think we have some over on the other side .. wait right here"... disappeared for 5 min and returned with a whole flat of the exact plants I was looking for ... 5 stars
