Found most all the plants i wanted already growing and the others I found seeds...they have sooo many seeds super cool

Really crappy to see first hand how the rats/mice are treated. Grabbing them by their tail (which is extremely dangerous and harmful to them) just to sell it as live bait then watching the others curl up together in fear. Inhumane and absolutely disgusting.

I have regularly found staff to be unfriendly. Today when I asked to use the restroom the young man was exceptionally polite......however when i made a comment how much more polite he was than previous staff he felt it necessary to point out a sign with the assumption he was being flirted with......well child my son is about your age and my husband also doesn't appreciate that. Maybe it's unusual for a female to be polite to you..... plants and animals how could you not be happy working there?

Absolutely LOVE this store. I've gotten animal feed, plants I absolutely love!! Healthy fish and an axolotl from them. Can't wait till they get more pigeons in, mine desperately needs a friend or two. ☺️

Love this place I have many animals and I can get everything I need for them at this one store. The greenhouse always has awesome plants that probably make up 80% of the foliage in my house and tanks

Love this place, always supplies the feeders for my almost 20 reptiles and amphibians. Supplement my garden growth with nutrients and information. These people sure hire educated people to handle their animals.
UPDATE: we have made friends with the pet department manager and work with them on isopods and reptiles, love the people and the consistency, thank you for being awesome nw seed.

Love love this place! Have since I was a kid! We had our own pet store at our home when I was growing up so my parents were always here! Love seeing ruby! So beautiful and on her good days she will talk! The alligator was a huge staple in my childhood. I don’t think there is a single person who grew up in Spokane or just lived here that didn’t know about the alligator!! He was so cool! And the tortoise is just as awesome. The fish area is super neat too! Just bringing to kids here is so fun for them! I usually get our summer seeds here for our garden as well! So here is some of the sunflowers I purchased from seeds this summer!

My boyfriend and I come here to buy our cat food. We love coming here because they have so many animals to look at while you're picking up the stuff you need and they are very well taken care of. Yesterday when we were in, the lady running the checkout behind the stick bug and leaf bug enclosures showed us a baby leaf bug up close! It was so nice of her to go out of her way to teach us about them and let us look at one up close. She was very knowledgeable as well. I love how well they take care of the animals in their store, always puts a smile on my face. I wish I knew the lady's name who helped us because she deserves so much praise for how dedicated she is to her job and for her love of the creepy crawlies.

Amazing selection for all gardening and pet needs! Attentive staff, and good prices. Its always a treat coming here!

(Even the home-made candy by the check stands is just amazing!)

I was just there today getting food for a large female Mantis I brought in the house to save from freezing outside this week.
They are so helpful and friendly.
I love the giant Red Macaw, the huge stick bugs, the amazing giant tortoise, the hens and roosters, the songbirds and all the other animals in the store.
Just a fun place to shop and visit and well worth the trip from anywhere in the inland Empire.

Cruel and indifferent to the animals they sell. It's an ok place for supplies you can't find elsewhere but actually sickening when you see them grab rats by their TAIL and flick them into boxes. Absolutely disgusting behavior and if you have another option definitely use it.

Great selection of gardening supplies. Really good selection of dirt and fertilizers. Much better than the home-improvement stores. And prices were great as well. Much cheaper than the local grocery stores. Great little store with pretty much everything we need for the garden or your critters.

Have always had a positive experience here. The young man who worked in the aquatics area gave me some thorough answers about my betta so I returned when my betta stopped eating and appeared sick. There was an older lady working and I explained what my fish looked like and told her I had aready tested and cleaned the tank out but she told me to come back with a sample of water so she could test it.. I had called over the phone before heading to the store and she complained that I hadn't mentioned that or she would have told me to bring in the water sample. I told her I may have overdone the water change by replacing more than half of the old water rather than just the usual 20% and she told me now the water quality was compromised because I had "neglected my tank." At no point did I say that I had neglected cleaning my tank so that was an unnecessary, rude comment. I walked away with no solutions and imagine my betta will soon die from starvation :/

This location has the coolest little creature area. We had a lovely chat with the fish guy and he helped us know what we needed (that cool planted grass) and how much longer we need to wait before introducing the fish we want. It's a lovely store with all the things I want but dont need or cant afford atm. We will be back in a week for that fish that's for sure.

The guy who helped us sort out everything we need for our new betta tank was number one! He helped pick out plants, showed me to the sparkley mermaid rocks, and overall gave us great tips! Thanks dude!

This store is so cool. I will drive two hours to buy my pet supplies from here every chance I get. Good quality products and very knowledgeable staff!

Always one of our favorite pet stores! The selection of seed and garden supplies is excellent, and the aquarium supplies and selection (and health!) of fish in stock are fantastic. Knowledgeable staff

best place to go for critters, fish, and plants. I love the natural pet food selection, and their plant pots are always in rotation! Always friendly and welcoming, including with the pets brought into the store for socialization. It's always lovely to say hi to Gertrude and Ruby as well!

This was a great store. It os much bigger than the one off division. I do wish they had more of a selection for reptile supplies, outside of the wood it actually offered less than the smaller store. Overall though it was well put together and I like that most of the animal setups were proper. The only ones that had things in them that they shouldn't was the mice enclosure with the metal wheel( causes bumble foot and major injuries) and the chinchilla woth all the plastic items.( they will chew and ingest it, which can cause fatal internal blockages, dental damage, and choking.) Otherwise everything else was okay.

Super easy and positive experience. We got my 6 year old two rats, and she's ecstatic. My guy Evan hooked it up with some great customer service.

I had my husband go in on Friday night for fruit flies, I went to feed my jumping spiders Saturday morning and there were only 2 in the container we paid $19 for. No dead ones. No larva. Legitimately 2 fruit flies! I called this morning to see what could be done and was told nothing at all. I will make sure to never shop or recommend here again since they cant even back their products. I would have been satisfied if they even offered to take my name and exchange when they got more in instead of a refund. I was basically told too bad. $19 for an container with 2 ff and not even a good culture to start any is pretty upsetting
