Had a leaky toilet and was told it may be the wax seal. They came out and look and initially could not find the problem. The guys, with their keen eyes, found a hairline crack in the tank, which I never would have seen. They suggested a new toilet, which was needed, and I agreed. They came back with new toilet and installed it within 15 minutes. I will recommend Acadian Plumbing to all who need service. Thanks for the prompt service.

Had a problem with an older pipe leak in the wall of of our bathroom. Worn out fixtures too! Response was in just a few hours (same day). Very satisfied! Plumbers were experienced, knowledgeable, explained all of the process to us, and came at a fair price. Will def use if needed in the future & highly recommend!

Acadian Plumbing met and exceeded our expectations. For integrity and high quality call Acadian. My husband and I typically work on projects in Saint Louis over the last decade. I wish this company could be transplanted to my hometown!!!

I needed to replace two 17-year-old hot water heaters in a rental property. My long-time plumber gave me an outrageous price, so I put a post on Reddit. Several people recommended Acadian Plumbing, then I got a message directly from Eric, the owner. I called and Eric came over the next day. He gave me a much better price and some good suggestions on moving the upstairs water heater to a more accessible place.
I accepted the bid, and they came right out to complete the work. Eric was detailed, honest and sincere. He got the work done efficiently, and for a reasonable price. The suggestions he gave me to help keep the cost down was very much appreciated and one of the reasons I'm recommending Acadian Plumbing.
Tina, the receptionist is also sweet and pretty funny too.
All in all, a good experience.

They were truly awesome! I’ve had plenty of people do repairs on my house. However, they were the best. The plumbers were extremely friendly and professional. Moreover, they fixed a broken pipe in the ceiling that some other companies might have overcharged. I will certainly use them for all my future plumbing needs. I highly recommend them.

1) $75 + cc fee to come quote. Strange, two other licensed plumbers did for free, but ok, I agreed. 2) They instead charged me $129 without disclosing (I only realized by seeing my CC statement). And let me know they can't do anything and to call SWBNO. They didn't actually provide a quote. They then snail mailed the info that I needed ASAP to restore water from SWB. 3) Another reputable licensed similarly sized plumbing company quoted the same day (for free) and is ready to start work immediately, and engage SWBNO for the repair. 4) Afterwards, when I questioned the charge, admin said "oh it's $75 for a quote and $50 if they actually do something." OK... 5) Owner is extremely knowledgeable and seems like a nice enough guy, but told me this was all okay because "it was justified." 6) I would have agreed to the extra $50 had I been asked - but it is never okay to say one price and charge something else without it being authorized. 7) Not a company to trust your credit card number with or that I will ever engage again.

8) I've gone ahead and changed my review from 2 to 1 star. Here's why:
9) No, the owner did not apologize as he stated multiple times in his lengthy reply here. Instead when I brought up the additional charge, he firmly doubled down in a raised voice that the undisclosed charge was "justified" and that "Xxxx told me" (she didn't - she quit literally said she thought the owner told me). At that time, I figured it best to part ways and engage a plumber that knows how to work w SWB rather than tell it's customer to "call SWB." (Yes, they exist, and they clearly aren't Acadian.) 10) No invoice has been received to date. No previous explanation of "it might be more to screw a gauge on the spicket" was ever provided previously. 11) It's really sad that this company has internal communication issues, blames its customers for them, and then insinuates the customer is lying about it. 12) Again, this review is not about the price charged - which I'm fine with. It's about being told one thing, then being charged something different, and then the company reiterating multiple times that it's okay without any remorse or apology, but instead blaming it on me. 13) I asked the owner, "did you want to quote repair to the SWB whip." Text attached. I did not ask him to "change the city whip." Cool, another lie. Way to go Acadian! 14) James, your expertise is absolutely worth the rate - but your need to be right and distort truths earned you this 1-star review.

I found Acadian Plumbing via Reddit and I am sure glad I did. They were polite and professional. They remedied the issue right away and I'm certain they left the area cleaner than how they found it.
