Michel’s employee’s are incredible. I will ALWAYS call these people for any plumbing problem. They showed up within 24 hours when our water heater broke (it was 23 years old, so it was time). The water heater is in the attic - very difficult job. I heard zero complaints. They went right to work draining the old water heater and dismantling it. They got it down very rickety stairs and out the door without making a mess. The really good new heater was quickly and VERY neatly installed. And, after cleaning up every speck of dirt, the team waited a good half hour or so to ensure there were no leaks and the water was heating. We are thrilled!!

Ive done kitchen and bathroom work at my condo at 1205 St. Charles with this company, they did a great job. They give good competitive prices and Master plumber Mike was professional, courteous, explaining everything to the tee. Highly recommend this company.

Dependable, Courteous & Professional! The plumbing job just completed at my house March 2025 was massive. All of the old pipes were removed and new ones installed. This job was tantamount to building a new slab house and forgetting to put in the plumbing, then calling Michel’s to fix the problem. Since it was a slab house, they had to tunnel their way under the slab to remove old broken pipes, and install new ones. When I returned home from work, I was surprised to find a pile of dirt in my patio, 6 feet high. However, the next day, the dirt seemed to have magically disappeared, my new pipes were working beautifully, my patio had been scrubbed clean, and all was right with the world. Thank you, thank you, Michel’s Plumbing and many thanks to Holly Duncan, Administrative Assistant. Holly is very knowledgeable and took charge, lining up the crew, setting up mutual times and dates to make it work with my work schedule. I don’t know what I would have done without Holly taking my many calls and just getting the job done! If you have a plumbing issue please call Michel’s - You won’t be sorry!

Ms Michel is a client of ours and we had a plumbing issue and I thought of them and gave them a shot...we do not need plumbers often but when we do they are the only company I call at this point! Always fair with us on pricing. They are busy but not too busy (which tells me alot about a company!!) and always manage to get out in a decent time frame. Between Ms. Holly and the other ladies that answer the phone to the various guys that have come out to do the work - never an issue. We have had them fix various lines, drains, fixtures and are currently doing a water heater and they have always done good work, left the place clean and did not rip us off. Thanks Michel's Plumbing!!! Hard to find good honest people out there!

I highly recommend using Michel’s Plumbing for any of your plumbing needs. They were reliable, honest and extremely professional. The crew showed up on time both days, kept the work area clean, worked EXTREMELY hard and were respectful. Holly (the office manager) stayed in contact with me during the whole process - start to finish! She explained everything clearly and worked tirelessly to help us fix our plumbing issue. She communicated with the employees at the job site to fill them in on any changes that needed to be made. After the job was completed, my yard and driveway looked like no work was ever done! They cleaned everything up so nicely! 100% recommend Michels plumbing!

Michel’s plumbing installed the plumbing for a bathroom and ran a gasline for a pool and fireplace. They did a great job and were very nice and easy to work with. Holly who schedules the work is very responsive.

Michel’s has taken on various remodeling projects with my company the past few years. The office has always been good with scheduling even when they’re super busy. Mike and Henry are the plumbers I’ve coordinated with so far and they’ve been great. Looking forward to more projects together.

My prior longtime plumber went out of business. Holly, Henry and Troy stepped in and were great to work with. They got the part to the hot water heater that was still under warranty and installed it for me in the middle of Mardi Gras season! They are now my go to plumber!

My partner and I hired Michel’s Plumbing this summer to replace the sewer line in our new home. We knew the main line needed replacement and received a quote up front. However, after digging began, we were told by the sales rep (Holly) that the rest of the branch lines also needed replacement—doubling the original cost. At that point, with the sewer line already cut and work underway, we felt we had little choice but to proceed. This left us feeling upsold and taken advantage of as first-time homebuyers.

The project itself dragged on for over two months. Communication throughout was mediocre—we often went 2–3 days without hearing back after leaving messages. Michel’s also left debris from the old sewer line piled in our driveway for over a month, creating both safety and access issues. We even had to specifically request that they obtain the proper city permit and inspection, which we expected to be handled automatically.

On the positive side, once everything was finally completed, the plumbing has been working fine. But overall, the lack of proactive communication, the surprise doubling of cost, and the poor project management left us with a very mixed experience.

Michel’s Plumbing is the only plumbing company I ever want to use!! I am a real estate broker and have plumbing issues and questions constantly. Holly is my go-to guru in all things plumbing. Michel’s will save you money, time, and worry.
When Michel’s completes a job and then leaves the site, — it will look like no one was ever there… even for huge jobs.
I have 200% no regrets ever!! And I have been working with Holly/Michel’s probably 6 times a year for many years.

This company is the most trustworthy/honest, accurate yet cautious, prompt, skilled, and clean.

I hope Michel’s is around for a long long time. They set the high bar.

The photos that are included are from today (01/21/26) that they started this morning and finished by 2:00 pm. They tunneled 33 feet, by hand, mind you, and replaced a rusted cast iron sewer line.

I have many tenants there. I braced them for days without water. It may have been 6 hours.
And this is just one of my projects in which Michel’s was a hero.

I gave them a star for response time because that was objectively good, but the rest of my experience with them was pretty disappointing. They are spectacular about communicating that your bill is due, but when it turns out their guys installed my hot water heater crooked and/or poorly, I couldn't get a call back.

eagle plumbing totally exceeded my expectations. our instant hot water heater went on the fritz and mr chris was on the case within a few hours. mr chris completed his prognosis and ordered the parts for rush delivery. two days later the parts were delivered to eagle plumbing on late saturday afternoon of labor day weekend - it was after 4:00 PM. mr chris at the end of his day, swung by the office and completed the repairs around 6:00 PM. i am a relic of the twentieth century, and i haven’t seen this level of kind, efficient and cost effective (mr chris successfully argued with my manufacturer that all the parts should be under warranty) service in quite a long time. grazie mille - a thousand thanks.

The technician was polite and friendly. However, when I first called the company, I told them the EXACT code that our RHEEM tankless hot water heater was sending. That info should have generated the actual part that was needed, and they should have brought it with them in order to repair it when they came. They charged $225 to come out and open the tankless heater box to tell me yes, it was the part the code said. RHEEM has been out of stock on this part for some time (I called a few supply companies), and, if the company was responsible and did this kind of work all of the time, they should have already known it was not available except through Amazon. They should have already had a supply of the $16 part. So, since they did not have the part, they offered to order it on Amazon and come back out to put it in for another $325!!!
I then ended up ordering a couple of the same part (to have an extra one) and cancelled them coming back. For $325, I can watch YouTube and ask a neighbor to help, too, which is what I did. I did not need them in the first place. However, if they would have brought the part with them and replaced it, I might have been better satisfied. Their wanting $550 to replace a $16 part was ridiculous.

100% recommended. Pipe burst in wall on Saturday afternoon. Eagle sent out Chris and he was outstanding! Not only was the repair completed within a few hours, he left the work area spotless. Professionalism through and through.

I had a great experience with Eagle Plumbing. Charles answered my phone call on a Saturday, and was able to set up an appointment for leak detection quickly. They also were able to do repairs on the same day the leak was detected. I really appreciate their promptness and excellent communication. Charles made many calls keeping me updated on progress. This was a huge help since I was setting up repairs remotely. I would definitely recommend Eagle Plumbing to anyone needing reliable plumbing services. They were a blessing to me.

I would give less than 1 star, if I could. They scheduled, did not show up. I called. They scheduled for the next time slot, did not show up. Got bumped to the NEXT time slot, did not show up. Meanwhile, I keep calling the call center to see what was happening. They requested I send pictures to get a quote. I did. I asked for 3 different options to compare with the other company. THEN, I get an email stating they had finished the service at my house. THEY WERE NEVER THERE!
I get an email with ONE short sentence, quoting an extremely high price, at almost double the cost of the other place, with no invoice, no phone call, no explanation.
To top that off, I then get a request to rate their service. Yeah, here is that response!!
This was one of the most unprofessional places I have ever dealt with. Extremely difficult to get the service even quoted, the call center is the only way they gave me to contact them, with nothing done, nothing quoted as requested.
DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!!!

You should have told me it was going to be a 165.00 Service fee when I asked if you could come out and give me an estimate. You plumber started looking around but did nothing but pull some grass out of a hole. I will never use your service or recommend you to anyone of the many contracting jobs I have. Stay on the south shore and please don't abuse people like you did me that day. I have had three other service people come and out give me an estimate with out charging one dime. You are done in my book. Have a nice day
