Came in and got the job done! everything was cleaned the way i hoped it would be. very professional.

The owner of this company is a young women and she took pride in the services she provided for my home. She cleaned the way I expected her too and the prices was so reasonable.

Management company said the house looked fantastic after Merry Maids came in for a Move Out service. Only noted issue was a fan blade had been knocked off.

The service I receive from Merry maids is impeccable. My house looks absolutely wonderful. I have referred Merry Maids to my sister who now uses the service, and most recently. I referred my cousins as well. Nikki who cleans my house is a superstar. Merry Maids is very lucky to have her on the team

Your team that came to my rescue was excellent. Jess and her team member were great and went beyond what I asked for. The job took twice as long as anticipated due to my lack of planning but they completed the work with no complaints. Job well done

Kim and her team mate were amazing!!! when i walked into my home and saw that they had gotten all the dust off my floor and dog hair i was in shock. I cant tell you how much stress went off my shoulders just coming into a clean house. Also thank you for taking care of my leather couch and putting the leather treatment on it. Would 100% recommend this service!

You need to purchase stronger vacuum cleaners. I noticed the last time that my rugs were not as clean as they should be. Its not the girls that come to clean, it is the equipment. Please invest in stronger vacuum cleaners. Thank you. Service is always great.

The contract I signed stated I was paying for a 2 hour minimum, $75 per person. The regional manager I just spoke with on the phone said there were 2 cleaners who came & they were only there for 1 hour. She said the cleaning crew claims they cleaned the kitchen. But my roommate says the kitchen was untouched & dirty. She had to clean the living room & kitchen herself when she returned home from her travels because she had people wanting to see the place to potentially move in with her. They didn’t clean the living room or kitchen at all, & the bathroom toilet was apparently still dirty. When I first called to schedule services I spoke to the owner of the company. I told him I needed a move out cleaning, the living room & kitchen were discussed as part of those services, it is even stated on page 3 of the contract “A typical Merry Maids visit includes these services: Standard Cleaning All Rooms, Standard Kitchen Cleaning, Standard Bathroom Cleaning”. And on page 4 it states “Generally, Merry Maids will concentrate our efforts on the items below: 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, 1 kitchen, living room, study, dining room, family room, etc.” I even moved all my furniture & belongings out of the apartment to make it easier for them to clean those 5 areas, they were all empty rooms. They only cleaned half of what I had asked for & didn’t not provide the complete services that Merry Maids stated in the contract. On page 1 of the contract I clarified on the special instructions “The master bedroom/closet/bathroom is on the right side of the apt.” so they knew which bedroom to enter because my roommate took over the lease & wasn’t moving out of her bedroom. But it seems like they misunderstood & ONLY cleaned the master bedroom/closet/bathroom. I will not be using this company again, and I won’t be recommending Merry Maids to anyone I know either. I paid for a moving out cleaning & only half of what was indicated on the contract was actually cleaned, & they were only there for half the minimum time that I paid for.

This company deserves 0 stars after our nightmare of an experience. Unprofessional management that doesn’t return calls or texts when given an explanation and photos of a job not done correctly. Total waste of money for a “move in /top to bottom” cleaning. Nothing in your home will be cleaned properly and you are literally throwing your money in the trash with this joke of a company. Find a local, small business to do the job the right way and invest your money in a business that cares about their clients.

I suffer from alot of health problems. I work alot as well. I always miss the small things when it comes to the house. I was feeling guilty about evening having to hire someone. Worth every single penny. My two lady's are amazing and I feel great coming home to what they did. I can't thank you enough

Needed service in a pinch and Merry Maids came through without any issues. Their service team was fantastic and answered any questions without hesitation. They listened attentively to my concerns and handled my home with care. I would definitely recommend their services and am looking forward to using them in the future.

Merry Maids “cleaned” my three full bathrooms for a year. After being charged $198 every month (rip off) for a once a month visit that only lasted 20-30 minutes (two employees), I did not renew my contract. Twice they promised to send me a specific person who was the only one who did a thorough job. Last night I cleaned the main bathroom (after it not being cleaned for three weeks) and found they had not moved the small, tripod stool for many months (please see image). They only surfaced clean. I found so much grime left under my toilet seat. I do not understand all the great reviews on here! Very disappointed in the entire experience.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I signed a contract with them to have my place cleaned every month. They rush the cleaning each time staying for less than an hour missing critical places like cleaning the tub and basic tasks like taking out the trash ?! Not sure why I’m paying close to 200 each time for mediocre cleaning. On top of that they text me THE DAY OF THE HOUR OF to let me know when they are coming for the cleaning, and the last strike was texting my the day off to cancel because of my dog! They are beyond unprofessional and the manger DENISE is satan herself. I would not recommend them to anyone ! You’re better off cleaning your place with a q tip

I called the Essex Maryland location of Merry Maids about two weeks ago to have my house deep cleaned. My appointment was for March 28th. At 12:48 pm, March 27, I received a text from Denise , stating that they needed o reschedule my cleaning, they had several team members out sick, very understandable. They asked me to please call the office, which I did. They told me their next available date would be April 8th. This date was completely unacceptable given that my house was to be put on the market for sale. The only thing Denise could offer me was a refund of my $100 deposit. I took the refund and let them know how displeased I was. I hung up and started making phone calls to other cleaning services. I found a service that pleasantly accommodated my request for a next day cleaning and the price was a third of what Merry Maids was charging for the same service. Merry Maids was going to charge me $641, the new service was $215. At 1:52 pm, I received a call from Denise at Merry Maids stating that she had reached out to another Merry Maids office and they could accommadate my appointment. I asked Denise why this was not done first thing, instead of sending me a cancellation text. She gave a very lame answer that she was not allowed to do that. So,the new cleaning company cleaned my house, and they did an excellent job! I will never use Merry Maids. They were overpriced and did not even try to make any arrangements to clean my house until I complained and told Denise I would be writing this review. I would not recommend this location.in Essex Maryland at all. Shop around!

Never considered using a cleaning service before. Now sorry we waited so long. Extremely pleased with their services. Above and beyond results.

The team showed up and was very friendly and hard working. They put in plenty of elbow grease and got things a lot cleaner even after i initially tried to clean.

Even though mopping is clearly done, I think a better cleaning solution or mop is needed. I asked to have the bedroom mopped a second time. After they left & the floor dried, there was still appearance of old dirt on the kitchen floor. Great team, nice work, not blaming them, but I think better equipment might be needed for mopping.
