Our home feels cleaner and more comfortable since the cleaning. The air smells fresh and pure.

Technician Jeffrey was wonderful! He was extremely professional and personable. He quickly checked out our furnace and serviced it. We are very appreciative of his work. Thank you, Jeffrey!

As a Griffith customer - Griffith has been amazing to me.

I've been with this company for over 3 years. They use to be awesome, but I don't know what changed this year. This month I needed service on my furnace as well as my outdoor a/c unit. I have the gold plan for both. They were horrible with their answering service and never returned my calls. I finally got an appointment, the technician never showed. After contacting them multiple times they came out, but we're unable to fix my unit. I had to reschedule multiple times. If they actually showed up, they were 4-8 hours late! I spoke to a manager named Melissa. I thought she was going to be helpful, however she blew me off as well. Failed to return my calls and never answered my issues about their scheduling/customer service questions. I am looking for a new company to work with.

My air-conditioning unit broke down just prior to the heat of summer. Due to the age of my system I decided to replace the gas furnace as well. I reached out to Griffith and within a day, a gentleman named Chris was at my house to get specs for a new system. Chris was very timely, thorough, and professional in every respect. When it came time for installation, Chris met two technicians at my house, Zane and Christian, and made sure they had everything needed to complete the install. Zane and Christian took it from there. Similar to Chris, Zane and Christian were true professionals. They were very polite and their work was clean and efficient. Overall, the level of service from beginning to end was nothing short of exceptional. Its been several days since install and the new system performs flawlessly. I highly recommend Griffith to anyone in need of anything heating and air-conditioning.

We had a scheduled visit with a Griffith technician to perform yearly maintenance on our furnace, air conditioning unit and heat pump. It was quick and we hope efficient. We wanted the usual paperwork confirming the visit and what was done. The technician said he did not have an operational computer/printer in his truck and would email the paperwork to us. We provided our email address but have not received anything yet.

Had Griffith out today because our oil boiler and radiator system wasn’t running. Current temps in the 20s and 30s. Had a gentleman named Michael out. He was informative, professional, friendly, and diagnosed and repaired the system quickly as well as the same day (had the aquastat on his truck). 10/10, great experience. Thank you Michael!

I just had Jeffrey from Griffith Energy (sister company of SMO) come by to do the annual tune up on my home energy sources: AC units, oil tank/furnaces and he was so thorough, took his time and discovered some items that needed attention. He was extremely knowledgeable, polite, respectful and communicated well. Thanks Jeffrey!

Not a great start. Scheduled a tank replacement, tank certification, annual service and a tank fill. The outside-tank replacement people came, but Griffith missed the other three appointments. When i called, they did not seem to care. Hoping things will improve, but I would not sign-up with them until they fix their system and level of service.

Update: after a very public apology from the owner (see below) they followed up with a Tuesday delivery after a Thu/Fri promise...4 days late, no call, nuthin!

Action speaks louder than words and their actions have demonstrated a low level of service and value to the customer.

If you are thinking about calling them, find someone else who wants your business. Dropping them from 2-stars to one.

A technician whose name was Jefferies (may not be spelled correctly) provided my annual furnace service last week. He was polite and appeared to be knowledgeable in his field. He shared with me some pointers about my chimney that I never really thought about. I feel that he is an asset to your company.

Called in on Monday as I was out of oil and needed a delivery. I was told they needed to send someone to inspect my tank (free of charge) before they can deliver, I’ve never had that happen before. I was informed the tank would be inspected that afternoon and if it passes I would receive my oil delivery on Wednesday. My tank passed the inspection, the inspector tried to sell me on him giving me 15 gallons of oil and priming my boiler, but I could wait until Wednesday, so I declined.
Here it is Wednesday, my house has plummeted to 47 degrees, I called this morning to know when to expect the delivery and was told I’m not on the schedule for oil. I have left messages for 2 people to call me back, neither have. Don’t let the cheaper prices fool you, this company isn’t worth dealing with and they don’t keep their word.
Called another company and was put on their emergency delivery and will have oil today.

Last week by coincidence the technician that came to perform the yearly checkup on my furnace and the oil delivery man arrived at my home approximately the same time. They each performed their services with no impact or inconvenience to me. I have been a customer of Griffith for a couple of years and have no complaints. I usually get the same lady (sorry I do not know her name) on the phone when I call. She is very professional and it is a pleasure dealing with her. I would highly recommend Griffith Energy Services to anyone that I know.

My technician, Jeffrey, was very courteous, professional and thorough from beginning to end. He covered all aspects of my air conditioning system unit -- inside and outside. Jeffrey is definitely a great and outstanding asset to your company!

On 5/20/20 I signed service agreements with Griffith, one for heating at a cost of $199.95. When October rolled around and I hadn't been contacted about my fall maintenance I called and was informed it was my responsibility to contact them to establish a date which is contrary to the policy of other oil companies I've dealt with. I was informed that 12/30 was as soon as they could come out. When I arrived home on 12/23 there was a notice that they had been out at 1:00 to call the office to reschedule. Normally you get prior notification telling you if their visit will be morning or afternoon. Not only were they a week early but I didn't receive a notification as to time of day. I called the office and was informed February was the soonest that could come out. Winter will be mostly over by then and I'll be be time to schedule my A/C maintenance. This is terrible business practice and I would hardily recommend that anyone considering them go elsewhere. For all intent and purposes I'm out the $199.95.

I have recently received a bill from Griffith and I have requested a breakdown of the amount an d I have received 3 additional request for the money but they are refusing to give me a breakdown. I'm not paying until I receive the breakdown.

Out of oil for 4 days now...my husband has been on the phone with multiple people over and over again. We had to go out and buy a diesel fuel container and make several trips to the gas station to keep heat and hot water working so our pipes do not freeze. Finally, yesterday they said at 7am that delivery today was guranteed..my husband called at least 10 times confirming. At 4pm, they said we were the next stop...never came. I called at 7pm and a nice after hour lady that lives in New York still said yes, we will be getting it tonight..GUARANTEED..
iT'S 8:00 AM THE NEXT DAY AND NO OIL DELIVERY.

I called Griffith energy to get an oil furnace installed . It was a very difficult locationn to install a furnace nearly impossible. Griffith never threw in the towel. Great people
It was a bear of a job but the big dog (Griffith) won the fight !!!

I was a customer of Puggs Fuel for years until they were bought out by Griffith. First time they came out to service my furnace the tech never showed in the 3 hour window. He arrived an hour later and did the job. At the end he mentioned he placed some towels under my oil tank to make sure it wasn’t leaking. We’ve never had an issue with the tank nor had a tech do that proactively. Sure enough, a few weeks later we see a leak coming from the nozzle. I call Griffith and have a hard time getting in touch with anyone. Finally get through and the girl says “I’ll put a ticket in for it” and tries to hang up. No mention of when or how I’ll hear back or an expectation of when someone would come. I call another oil company, Corbin, who scheduled an appointment right away. I call back Griffith to cancel and they have no record of a ticket for me. Tell your phone reps to stop eating while on the phone. Stay far away from this company

You can’t go wrong working with Peter DeRosa he made my transaction smooth and I had a complete understanding of what arrangement I was getting into for my automatic delivery. It’s great to know that customer service is still alive at Griffith
Energy, especially talking to Peter DeRosa.

I’ve been a customer of theirs for almost 7 years. I’m on automatic refill for my oil and never had a problem until this week. We ran out of oil and woke up to a cold house. Called Griffith, they said they’d send someone. They sent a furnace repair man. Had to call back twice, was told my account was past due when it was not and was promised immediate delivery. No one came. Called again to the after hours emergency line and was told someone would be out ASAP. No one came. It’s now 26 hours since my first call, my house is freezing, my fish has died from cold so I called Murphy’s Oil and they will be here within 2 hours. Apparently they get a lot of calls like this from previous Griffith customers all the time, they were extremely nice and helpful. Will be cancelling Griffith service today.

Edit - the number below from Griffith’s response just takes me to customer service and no one has answered the phone today at all on the customer service nor did they answer between 3 and 5 yesterday. No worries though Murphy’s Oil was out here within two hours of me calling. My heroes!

Had a problem receiving refund. Call the area Griffith office and communicated with a nice, courteous and helpful customer service agent name Sheila. My problem was solve in a manner of 2-4 days when at first I was having a run around for 2 weeks. Your kindness and understanding Ms. Sheila was appreciated. You are an example of what good customer service looks like and I will always remember how you went to work to right the situation. Again Thanks
