I can’t express how happy I am with my new chandelier installed by Richie Electric. They are such a professional company through all the steps of the project. They provided a quick but thorough detailed estimate, came on site to survey the job and then provided a clear plan on how they would get it completed. My chandelier is very high and an art design so a scaffold was needed and they worked over 6 hours straight to hang it with precision and to my specifications. They were amazing! I highly recommend Richie!!!

Got my home inspected pending a sale and needed some work done. I previously got a quote from Richie Electric to get work done where we moved to in Rockville, but at the time couldn’t pull the trigger. Even though I didn’t get the work done previously I texted him because I was in a pinch and we only had so much time to decide on what we were going to take care of from an inspection report for a house I'm selling. I reached out to him at 7:22pm. He showed up at my house by 8:00pm. He knocked out the work in less than a couple of hours for a very reasonable price. The fact that he not only showed up immediately but completed work with no notice whatsoever is truly commendable and appreciated. I'll forever save his contact information and will call him and only him moving forward.

We had an electrical fire in the wall. Mr. Richard identified the issue, corrected the problem, and clearly explained the process. He cleaned up above and beyond. I highly recommend this company.

Wilmer showed up on time. I explained to him my concerns. He listened attentively and then gave me an idea as to potential costs. After his evaluation Wilmer was very thorough and checked every issue. At the end of the visit hall the sockets were repaired and the price was right. I would use them again.

Overall, I didn’t appreciate him ripping me off, but he delivered the work as promised.

Pros: He properly installed an additional outlet in my bathroom and relocated a light switch in my hallway.

Cons: The electrician was half an hour late and still tried to charge me 2 hours for 1 hour of work. Even with commute, it was at most 1.5 hours. He charged me $60 for material costs, that actually costed $7.50, given that no additional wires or fixtures were needed. On top of it, I will still need to change out the extra outlet he installed since it doesn’t match my current one.

Great company. Reasonable prices. Did good electrical work for me a few years back. Would call for more work.
