I would not use this company again- they will charge you more than they quote you.

The 2 men who assisted in my move were fantastic!! However, their customer service is lacking. I was quoted a price that was rather typical for moving a one bedroom and comparable to other companies in the area. I was only moving a one bedroom apartment and had sold majority of my furniture, so my large furniture only included a bed, bed frame and 2 night stands, hardly to be considered a full 1 bedroom apartment move. The rest of the move consisted of boxes, approximately 20. I originally was given a range of pricing for a 5 hour move with 1 hour travel time. At the end of the move, including travel time, it only took 4 hours and I was somehow being charged approximately $100 over my quoted range.
When I spoke with customer service she was extremely rude and suggested to me that I was not paying over my quoted range, citing the fact that I had been given a discount (approx $30 for leaving a positive Yelp review before being asked to pay and the deposit I put down that went to the total price). To suggest that my deposit amount was evidence that I was not being charged over my quoted amount is completely ridiculous. This move took below the estimated move time range and the customer service was completely unwilling to work with me or adequately explain how this pricing made any sense at all. In fact, part of customer service's argument was becuase the movers needed to box up items and a mattress cover/tv cover were used (keeping in mind that these items were already estimated and included in my original quote).

My first apartment was 3rd floor and no elevator. The men loaded up 2-3 boxes on a dolley and walked the dolley down the stairs- resulting in boxes ripping, silverware falling out, and upon unpacking me discovering that a lot of my glassware and platers were chipped, shattered, or broken.

Used Zip to do a local move on Sept 17, 2020. This was the best money I have ever spent! The team came in and did a walk thru and went straight to work! We had a 3 member crew (small but MIGHTY) and they were NOT playing around! My move went flawless and the customer service and care for our furniture and walls was meticulous! They made a dreaded thing like moving easy and smooth!

It was my first time to hire Zip Moving company, but it was one of the easiest moves that I have ever had. Edwin and his colleague (can't remember his name) are professional movers, were there on time, and managed to pack, move and unpack items professionally and on time. Totally recommend.

I am duly impressed by the three workers who love my belonging from two storages. They were efficient and professional. They did not nick or scratch my newly painted walls of which I am greatly appreciative. I highly recommend Zip Movers!

In general, moving can incredibly stressful—especially if it’s a long-distance move—but they ensured it was fast and easy. The Zip Movers consultants (Mia and Daria) were also incredibly friendly, helpful, and responsive. I strongly recommend Zip Movers and will use them again in the future.

Zip Moving and Storage is an incredible professional company that you should absolutely contact if you’re moving in the local area. For context, I’ve been in the military for over 14 years and have worked with many different moving companies, good and bad. I can confidently say that Zips is one of the best. Their prices are very fair, they work in a professional and efficient manner, and take great care in handling your household goods.

Joel and his partners were exceptional in every respect. They were prompt, cordial, and highly quick and efficient in packing, loading, transport, and delivery. They were respectful and careful with our precious belongings treating them as though they owned them. As a company Zip Moving and Storage was attentive and proactive anticipating each step along the way. Peace of mind in our new home. Highest possible recommendation.

I can not recommend using this mover. our experience with them was horrible. First they rescheduled us multiple times then after several 2 hour windows, they scheduled us for a 1-4 hour slot on Friday. The crew called me at around 2 and told me they would arrive at around 2:45pm to 3:10. When they hadn’t arrived by 4pm I called to cancel as I didn’t even know if they were going to show up. Well they decided that was a justified reason to charge us a $600 cancellation fee when they were not even there when they were supposed to be.

Joel and his team were excellent! they accommodated all of my last minute concerns, were through and gentle when handling my items, and his team worked nonstop throughout the job to make sure that my huge appliances fit in the especially tight spaces in my new home!

The company is not responsible for the estimates and the actual results. They estimated my move to $1,300 and then charged me to about $3,000. But the worst thing that they didn't finish! They left many items disassembled, some of items kept without important parts, etc.

I contacted them about the issues but they didn't answer. I had to hire another company to finish everything.
