We have been using Cleaning Crew Capitol Hill since we moved into our new office over a year ago. They have always been very receptive to any requests and are very easy to communicate with. The staff is very friendly! It is always great to see them when they come in!

So kind, so helpful! Very responsive to coordinate over the phone and did an amazing job. I broke my leg and I’d never had a cleaning service before, but felt like i could really use the help. Cleaning Crew of Capitol Hill serviced a deep cleaning of my studio basement apartment on 9/15/19. I was out of town while they came by - scheduling, communication, and ease of allowing them access with a lockbox was all very efficient and easy - Sharron responded to all of my emails very promptly and called to confirm the day before. In addition to the deep clean, I paid for additional services to have the floors and spaces between my kitchen appliances cleaned which required some heavy lifting and strategic moving since my kitchenette is very tiny. I am very happy with their work and have an apartment that is cleaner than I ever thought possible. I haven't had a deep cleaning since I lived here and have a strong suspicion that my unit wasn't cleaned between me and the tenant before me so it's possible they undid over 5 years of ick in a day. Very impressive. Recommend them!

I would never hire this company again. Stay far away.

I needed a next day move in/move out cleaning because my tenants didn't clean the condo and I needed to move in the next day. Cleaning Crew of Capital Hill agreed to come out and clean at 7 am the next day so that I could move into a clean unit-- provided I pay $150 CASH.

Since this was a last minute cleaning, I had to meet with my movers, so my friend agreed to let the crew into the condo for me. My friend let whoever came (Rosslyn?) in and gave them the $150 CASH plus my $20 tip. I assumed the company was reputable and that the job would get done-- boy was I dead wrong.

I arrived back at my place with the movers around 11 am to find that the condo was not clean.

It looked as if the floors had been Swiffered some Febreze sprayed, the toilet wiped and the mirror cleaned. The kitchen counters were filthy; the appliances were dirty, the air vents were covered with dust. Not at all what I had expected for $150 and I have had cleaning services in the past, this by far would be the worst cleaning job I have ever seen.

I immediately contacted Cleaning Crew of Capital Hill again (Jonnel?) again to fix the issue and after multiple attempts to get a response I was told that someone would fix it by 11 am the next day-- no one ever showed up.

I followed up again and didn't get a response until the NEXT DAY. I was told "oh, they must not have had time" -- I would assume the professional thing would be to call your customer if you were not going to show up.

By this time I am pretty annoyed. So I told Jonnel that I wanted to part ways and that I can't keep moving my schedule for no one to show up, but-- all I need is an invoice to bill the tenants. After over a week of trying-- I still hadn't gotten the invoice.

I was told to call another person (who supposedly cleaned the unit) to meet me. She never called me back.

I feel ripped off and that this company has zero integrity or customer service. I am out $170, have no invoice and still had to clean my place.

Stay far far away from this company.

we have worked with Cleaning Crew of Capitol Hill since the beginning of 2011 when we hired them for regular cleaning of our 30 person office. i could not be happier with the level of care and service that we have received. easy communication, and the willingness and ability to adapt and help with anything that comes up are their hallmarks. a local family run business, they have helped us out of countless jams. i highly recommend you give them a shot at impressing you the same way

Elite came out 1x weekly until my rodent issue was resolved. We were able to come up with creative ways to keep the rats away from the back of my rowhouse. Very responsive and professional.

I needed someone to come out quickly to my house and I was so happy I found Elite Pest Control. It was super easy to go online and an book appointment. Super Fast and Friendly Great Service!

I have used Elite Pest Contol for several pest problems, mice, fruit flies and roaches. Each time by the 3rd visit the pest were eliminated. Anthony is very knowledgeable, efficient and professional in handling each job he did for me. His price is are extremely reasonable with a 60 day warranty. I highly recommend Elite Pest Control & I know that you will be pleased with the service the company offers.

Elite Pest Control is a high quality service. I have had a rodent problem for about a year now and have cycled through a few pest control companies. The owner, Tony, was professional, punctual, and most importantly knowledgeable. He worked with me to find the sources of the infestation, not only treating the symptoms. He also educated me on preventive measures I could take and checked extra crawl spaces and behind all appliances. I can not recommend Tony or Elite Pest Control Services enough. I don’t think I’ll need to use another service after this due to their attention to detail and quality of work, but if I do I would not hesitate to use their services again.

Phoned and scheduled an appointment during a two-hour window (that they suggested); no one ever showed up, neither did anyone text or phone to say that they were going to be late or that they were not going to be able to come.

I ended up contacting the main number and letting them know that no one bothered to show up during the window of time that they were scheduled to arrive, nor had I received any info, and thus I wouldn’t like to even bother with rescheduling (I mean, what’s to stop them from doing the same thing once again?).

I never received an apology or even an acknowledgment that they had broken their word to come to my residence to do a job. For companies in DC to be so expensive, so many of them are extremely unprofessional and appear to simply not want to work. I guess they would rather we just give them the money and they wouldn’t have to be bothered with showing up to do anything. #DisappointedInDC

Edited: To the Owner of Elite Pest Control, YES, this is the right business. I spoke with a gentleman who asked me to text him my address for the technician (as he would not be coming). As I wrote above, no one even bothered to phone or text to let me know that they would be late or not be showing up. Neither did they respond to my text when I let them know that no one had shown up. Please do not gaslight me. I have written far too many fair reviews to get this kind of information wrong. Thanks! 😊

Anthony was amazing with explaining what was attracting my ants. After treatment I did not have any more issues with finding ants inside of all the food in my pantry :) I was so satisfied I utilized his services when wasps kept nesting on my patio. They also hadn’t returned since. Very professional while entering my home. VERY Satisfied customer!!!

I had a sudden rat problem and was in total panic. Tried calling several pest control companies, but because it was right before the July 4th holiday, no was was available. When I called Elite Pest Control, they came the same day, figured out how the rats were getting in. We closed up the holes to prevent entry and the problem was solved.
I appreciated the proactive way they came and the fact they came every week to follow up.
I really appreciated Elite Pest Control and would recommend them to anyone with a rodent problem.

I love how incredibly responsive the owner is. If I ever needed him to come to my home or check something out he was always there if not the same day the very next day! This is not just a black owned business but a very professionally ran one. Anthony is a big “text” guy and it works perfectly for me because it’s fast communication which I can appreciate. Anthony and his team were very professional, thorough and responsive. He came on the first day that I called him, and he performed an extensive inspection to make sure that the source of our mice was identified and remediated. He was flexible about scheduling our follow-up visits and checked in with me regularly until the issue was resolved.

Anthony is wonderful to work with. Professional, personable and reliable. We had a mouse problem that he took care of. He set the traps and came back weekly for 3 weeks to check on them then texted me weekly to make sure we were not seeing any rodents. I would 100% recommend him to anyone I know and would use him again!

Anthony and his team are awesome! They get right into the work and diligently work to the root of the issue. For us, it was mice. We didn’t make it easy given our summer travel schedule but the team was flexible, patient, caring, and professional each visit. Elite pest control has been very helpful dealing with a mouse problem in my kitchen and basement. Anthony and Taurean have always been professional and flexible with appointments (willing to do mornings, weekends, etc). They also have been really proactive with following up each week and replacing traps. I would highly recommend them as a local company in the Columbia Heights/NW DC area.

Elite was very responsive: diagnosed the problem via text, the same day, set traps, and problem was solved the next day when a single mouse was caught in our trap. They followed up via text but the job was done. Very pleased.

The Elite pest control team was responsive, came the same day, and was really communicative throughout the whole process. They sprayed my apartment and laid traps in less than 10 min.

Ok. This review may be a little too premature, but I need it to at least document my first impression, my first contact and the service that I have received since contacting Elite for my parents home.

First my parents home is in DC where the mouse issue is now out of control. The house has had issues with mice for years. It's our childhood home that we still own and live in. They've tried all things to catch, but not necessarily tried to get rid of the problem. I've had service from other well known companies who left sticky's down. That really did not resolve the issue. My mom was so tired of seeing them that she wanted to sell the house. Something that I could not let happen because of that 1 issue. I was searching the Web for a company that was pretty well known when I came across Elite. I saw the reviews and was instantly compelled to at least contact them. I was surprised at the quick response. I was very impressed with how quickly they scheduled the first appointment. I was equally happy that my Mom liked the technician and that they started treating the home immediately. The technician went above and beyond by cleaning droppings in the kitchen area. He took the time to show her what he had done. She was really happy. I honestly did not think that it would get rid of the issue, but rather slow them down from entering the home. But the technician really had other plans. The very next visit visit he made certain that he plugged even more areas that he saw and then the last explained that it was necessary for us to get the strips to go on the bottom of the door for tyem to gain entry. He offered my mom the opportunity to contact him when we got the strips and told her he would put them on himself. After having such a great 1st impression I selected the continued treatment. Elite says they come until the issue us resolved. I will say that we have seen less activity over the last 3 weeks and I'm hoping that with consistent treatment from Elite that we can honestly, for the first time in my lifetime, get rid of the issue altogether.

This is about the unprofessional manner of the owner. We hired them after reading the reviews on google and scheduled them to come. The first time, they were late and missed the window that they provided us. Ok, no worries, it happens, and he offered a $25 discount. We agreed to the full service and scheduled the next visit. He provided the date and time and we agreed. The day comes, and again, I have to call them because they do not show up within the window (they did not reach out saying they would be late). I called and he then said "we dont provide windows" and I showed the text that he sent that showed that it was the window he provided. Again, apologized, offered $25 discount. We scheduled and confirmed the next visit. AGAIN they don't even show up (not late) and then says that we didn't confirm. Again I show him the text that we did and then he goes to blame me for not calling yesterday, and then saying they are busy, and all he can do is tell the tech and he doesn't control the tech (his employee). I wouldn't be so mad if they had just called to say we are running late or we have to reschedule, but we had scheduled work/meetings around them showing up. The cherry on top is he tries to blame me for not following up when they are late. The owner did give me a partial refund.
