This place was fantastic, to be honest. They took my ring at on a weekend evening, if I'm not mistaken, and I, distressed, asked the guy (I believe it was some Greek guy, but I forget his name) for urgent advice regarding my newly-bought portable AC. It was pretty obvious from the getgo that I couldn't use these guys' services, but the gentleman still began giving top-notch, insightful advice that broke me free from the impasse I found myself in with my AC. The guy, whom I assume speaks for the rest of the folks in the company, knows his stuff like nobody's business and is a selfless, devoted and hardworking dude. I can tell a lot about a guy when he gives excellent advice on a difficult question and I can tell even more when it comes free. I highly recommend Riley.

Riley Heating and Air Conditioning removed an oil furnace from our home and installed a gas and central air conditioning unit. The installer dismantled and removed the oil furnace (by himself) that was in a small confined space in less than 2 hours. That was amazing! He came back the next day and installed the new furnace all in one day. He was very personable, and professional. It was a smooth and seamless process; it couldn't have been done any better!! Adonis from Riley was on time, knowledgeable and thorough. In his many many years in the business, he seems to have seen almost every kind of HVAC issue, so can accurately diagnose and fix a problem.

The technicians from Riley are always responsive and professional. They were great on doing maintenance of our older HVAC system and when we went to invest in a new unit the installation was ideal. I will not use another HVAC maintenance and repair company. I used a number of contractors prior to discovering Riley and Riley is the gold standard of what you want in customer service.

Had Riley Heat and Air over to fix a broken heater. The technician was prompt (he even called 30 minutes before the appointment to let me know that he was on the way). The prices were beyond reasonable and the service was quick and efficient. I highly recommend Riley Heat and Air.

There aren't enough great things to say about this company and their staff. Our AC stopped working on the hottest day of the summer so far (heat index of 110) and I called Riley around 8 am and was told someone would call me within 30 min with a time and if they could come today. Adonis (so sorry if that's misspelled!) called in 30 min and was at my door within the next 20. It was LESS than $100 to diagnose and fix our minor issue - I owe this company and Adonis everything!!!! We will be a forever customer.

Adonis and his team were on time, incredibly clean and efficient, and they were right on target with their estimate. They were able to complete the job quickly and and were always very easy to communicate with. If you have a HVAC issue, go with Riley Heat and Air!

Riley Heat & Air overhauled the ductwork in my house from top to bottom, including the unfinished crawl space below the ground floor. They also installed two attic fans to help cool the upstairs level in the summer. Adonis and his team did a really terrific job, and the high quality of the duct repairs and installation is still apparent 1.5 years later: the whole house stays cool in the summer and warm in the winter without large fluctuations between the different levels. When I recently requested a service call for a related heating issue, they arrived promptly and did not charge a diagnostic fee. I can't recommend Riley Heat & Air highly enough!!!

Adonis is very responsive and open to questions and talked me through exactly what was going on with our HVAC, and gave me the pros/cons of all the options. He takes the time to make sure you see and understand what is going on, even though you are not an expert on HVAC systems. We did a full system replacement with his team, and they did a great job with the install. We would recommend him and his team. Other HVAC technicians we have dealt with are not nearly as thorough or willing to give you the cons about certain approachs (especially those that would make more money for the technician). Adonis was always very responsive, always on time.

Adonis and his team installed a new HVAC system in my condo. They provided a fair price, were on time, responsive, kind, and thoroughly answered any questions I had. We were very pleased with Riley Heat and Air, especially after a less-than-helpful experience with another company. They responded to our call quickly, made a diagnosis, and we got a complete HVAC overhaul within 5 days. The technician (Adonis) was very helpful, and went above and beyond to ensure the service was finished in a timely manner... quite important given it was the middle of June in DC. Adonis even stayed late on a Friday night to finish the installation, even when the initial expectation was that it would be completed the following Saturday.

Since the initial installation, we've had an issue with a leak from condensation on the unit (I don't believe this was related to the quality of the unit or service, however), and Adonis/Riley were once again very helpful and prompt in taking care of the issue. He was back to the house within a day, and created a temporary fix for the unit until a more permanent one was available. A couple of weeks later he was back for the permanent fix. Both have held, and we haven't experienced any other issues.

I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of quality, prompt service... especially during what I'm sure is one of the busiest times of year for HVAC service.

Given how miserable life can be when the AC or heat aren’t work, a company like Riley Heat & Air with technicians like Adonis are comforting to have available.

Adonis has been servicing my AC for years. It has been on its last legs for at least five of those. Adonis kept it alive as long as he could! It finally died and Adonis got the new unit in and running within3 days! Highly recommend.

As one of many owners of an older home, I was concerned about how much cash I would have to invest on my recently failed central air condition unit. The technician from Riley Heat & Air arrived and quickly began his assessment. Not only did he carefully check my system but explained what he was doing step-by-step and even suggested preventative measures for the future. After narrowing down the problem (which turned out to be not a huge problem), he resolved it quickly and professionally...and it didn't break the bank. I highly recommend Riley, the courtesy, service, and professionalism I received was beyond compare, and it didn't hurt that it was affordable.

Addonis had serviced someone else in our building and came highly recommended. He did not disappoint. He is very responsive and doesn't try to upsell you on things you don't need. He will also teach you about how to maintain your system and what things you actually need to keep it running for many years. He has checked our HVACs for the past few years. Unfortunately, this year we had to replace one of our HVAC units and Addonis worked with us to get us the best estimate and installed it within a few days of knowing we needed a new one. We had shopped around and got quotes from other HVAC companies and Addonis gave us a more realistic and fair quote. He is also a licensed installer and provides warranties. He and his colleagues are courteous, kind, and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend Addonis for you HVAC needs.
