Reviews of local pros in Acton, Massachusetts

Abby and Roberto run the best landscaping biz in town! They spend time with talking with clients to be sure they clearly understood the scope of the job. They send a detailed description of the work estimate. Their prices are competitive and upon completion, they follow up to be sure the job is done right.

I had questions about a much larger job and they took a significant amount of time to talk through all our options.

Always beautiful job and they always make sure you’re happy! And just all-around good people!

We've had Roberto and the crew at Superior Landscape do several projects for us and I can't recommend them enough. Sarah took the time to listen to our specific needs and desires for our walkway and garden beds and provided us with valuable suggestions and a design plan that looks perfect in our space! Roberto and his crew are skilled and knowledgeable and they work hard to get the work done in a timely manner. Our latest project with Superior we had them install a long walkway using old bluestone and they were able to restore our old stone wall and we could not be happier with the results. I highly recommend their services!

Superior Landscaping has completed two projects for us - a retaining wall and a custom designed fire pit. Each time, we were extremely pleased with the end result. Roberto listened to what we envisioned, and offered helpful, professional advice - which enhanced the end result.
Roberto, Abby and Sarah (office manager) always responded quickly to any and all inquiries. Once the project commenced, Roberto would stop by at least once a day to make sure that that work was progressing as planned, and that we did not have any further questions. All of the members of the Superior Crew show the same level of hard work and expertise.
My husband and I highly recommend Superior Landscaping for any of your current or future needs/ projects.

Superior Landscape Crew truly lives up to their name in every way. They mow our lawn weekly and consistently exceed our expectations. Their attention to detail is remarkable: not only do they mow perfectly, leaving no turn marks or scalped patches on our large, uneven lot, but they also do an excellent job trimming around the edges.

What sets them apart is their dedication and work ethic. I once saw a crew member start pruning our overgrown pricker bushes while waiting for his coworker to finish up. No one is ever sitting still on the job! They are also incredibly respectful of our kids' toys that are sometimes left in the yard. Instead of just tossing them aside, they often place them neatly on the patio or in a pile to the side.

The crew always ensures our patio and deck (which is elevated due to our sloped yard) are clear, regardless of whether they made the mess. This level of thoroughness and care, without any extra charge, is rare and commendable. They always greet us with a smile, wave, and cheerful attitude.

Sarah, the Operations Manager, is a delight to work with. Her consistent and upbeat communications keep us well-informed, making the entire experience personable and genuine. It's clear that Superior Landscape Crew respects and rewards their employees, which is just as important to us as the quality of their work.

I am thoroughly impressed with Superior Landscape Crew and highly recommend them to anyone in need of landscaping services. They are, without a doubt, the best in the business!

I can't say enough good things about Abby and Roberto and their team at Superior Landscape. We've had some negative landscaper interactions in the past, so it was just delightful to get such prompt and helpful advice, an immediate and reasonable quote, and then have the work scheduled and completed just a few days later, before the cool weather came in. Abby helped me understand what our lawn needed, and the work crew was expert, hardworking, and considerate. They even followed up to make sure all our questions were answered in terms of watering and leaf removal as the new grass takes hold. I wish all contractors were such a pleasure to deal with, and while I'm glad our project is complete, I might even miss having them around!

Now that this horrible long-lasting storm has stopped, I needed to leave another review for Superior Landscape Crew. Five stars does not seem to be even close enough - 5,000 yes! They showed up Sunday (2/16) morning for the initial plow of driveway, walkway and back yard walk away -on top of that with little notice, they took care of my neighbor's drive, etc. as they needed help. We consider ourselves lucky to have Superior and their crew taking care of us year-round - the communication, consideration, timeliness and feeling of safety they provide is unmatched. We would be remiss without a special shout-out to Alejandro & Nacho - two hard working guys who did a great job with a smile.

Part 2: This Monday morning (2/17) the hard-working Abby is sending emails at 12:30am concerning the dangerous ice everywhere. Again, this great team came and salted, and later Roberto came by and re-salted and plowed. The safe feeling they provide is priceless.

An amazing company - the best anywhere!!!!

We had Superior Landscape Crew put in a new front walkway and redo our front steps. Abby and Roberto came out to help with ideas and drew up a design and estimate. They pay a lot of attention to detail and point out things that we never would've thought to consider.

Their crew does excellent work and spends long days on the job, getting the work done quickly. They did a good job of tidying up the job site at the end of each day.

Abby and Sarah kept us informed via email and were quick to respond to any questions or concerns we sent them.

We love our new walkway and steps and get many compliments on them.

We also use Superior for yard maintenance: spring cleanups, lawn aeration and overseeding, and mulching. They do a very thorough spring cleanup and their aeration is great - it doesn't leave little clumps of extruded dirt everywhere.

We highly recommend Superior. Our neighbors liked the job they did for us so much that they hired them to do work on their house.

We've been working with Superior Landscape Crew for several years now, primarily for fall cleanups, and they have consistently exceeded our expectations. Their clear communication and exceptional attention to detail truly set them apart. From start to finish, their team is professional, reliable, and thorough—qualities that are hard to find in this industry.

Superior Landscape Crew doesn't just get the job done; they do it exceptionally well. The property always looks immaculate when they’re finished, and it’s clear they take pride in their work. It's always a pleasure collaborating with them, and we appreciate how easy they make the process.

If you're looking for a landscaping company in Acton or the surrounding area, we highly recommend Superior Landscape Crew. They are one of the best in the business, and we’re grateful for the outstanding service they continue to provide. Thank you for all that you do!

Would recommend! We had them come out and dig some in ground garden beds along our fence line. Had some hiccups on the way but they were very prompt handling everything and communicative throughout. I also appreciated their professionalism and friendliness when we said we would plant out the beds on our own because of budget restrictions.

We've had the pleasure of using Superior Landscape for over nine years, for a wide variety of outdoor projects. These include fixing a retaining wall, moving septic leach field vents, re-seeding a large portion of the yard that was inhabited by grubs, adding a gravel edge around a newly-constructed four season porch (and moving our irrigation system accordingly), digging an 8 foot trench to prevent foundation water damage, constructing a new cobblestone-lined pathway, re-planting shrubs, and finally regular, weekly lawn maintenance.

Abby, Roberto, and their team are extraordinary in every way. Incredibly responsive (which is so rare in their field), diligent, and friendly. We're so glad to be able to support them, and to call them our friends.

We had a great experience working with Abby and Roberto's team at Superior Landscape for two projects - clearing a large area with tree and shrub removal plus extensive pruning. The process of bid development and proposal was thorough, including an on site walk through where both owners were present and asked questions then a detailed work plan with photos in the written proposal. The onsite team was professional, thorough, and efficient - highlighting questions/issues when they came up. Happy to support a local company and would work with them again.

The team at Superior are just fantastic. I’ve been a valued customer for several years at this point for their landscaping services and couldn’t be happier. They take great pride in their work and often go above and beyond, taking great care of our yard in ways that I sometimes don’t even ask them to. They are kind, courteous, and highly professional and the ongoing communication with their clients is unrivaled. Just a great experience all the way around!

We needed to have a retaining wall replaced, and Abby and Roberto did a top-notch job from start to finish. Their communication was excellent through every step of the process, and they answered all questions thoroughly. I felt confident in their supervision of the work done, and their crew was excellent. If you want the peace of mind knowing the job will be done right, I highly recommend Superior Landscape Crew!

I hired Superior based on a recommendation from my next-door neighbor. They came in and cleared out a totally overgrown bed for me. Abby and Roberto are super easy to work with and their crew was very, very professional. They did an absolutely beautiful job on it, without messing up anything around it. We liked it so much we hired them to do another area, a cool project that they got creative with. They can do it all, from digging out a jungle to landscaping a whole new outdoor seating area for us. I cannot say enough about this team! I almost forgot--I had a total panic attack about my underground fence wire for my dog, and they were ready to drop everything and help me, but I ended it up sorting it out myself. Really, these are such good people and they really do SUPERIOR work. Also! They are great to work with on costs. Abby lays everything out very clearly so you know exactly what everything costs. Totally sane and reasonable!

Tremendous work! From design to planning to cost estimation to execution, Superior did a great job in constructing my front porch/landing and walkway. I couldn't have been more satisfied, and I highly recommend the company.

We had a great experience with Superior Landscape Crew this spring! We hired them to replace our front steps and walkway and they did an excellent job. Abby was very quick to respond to any questions I had and she kept us updated on the timing of the project. We would definitely recommend them and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

Our ornamental trees and shrubs; magnolia, andromeda, boxwood, spreading yew, false cypress, and ducia, were all in need of serious pruning. With the heat and my concerns at age 81 about using ladders, we decided to get some quotes for the work. Superior Landscape sent Mark to note exactly what we desired, and produced a very reasonable quotation quickly, which we accepted. The crew, Jorge and Carlos, worked quietly and speedily with great results. We heartily recommend this firm.

My husband and I couldn’t be more pleased with the attentiveness, communication, efficiency, politeness, and final outcome of the landscaping projects completed by Superior Landscape Crew! Abby thoughtfully checked in over email as our projects unfolded and Carlos asked for feedback on site throughout and at the conclusion of the project process. Mark was wonderful as well, and suggested an approach that improved the long-term endurance of one of the projects. The guys pivoted to help me move two large barrel planters and dig up root systems entrenched in the ground to accommodate the planters’ new location. This was outside the original scope of work and we greatly appreciated their flexibility and willingness to attend to this task when I ran into issues handling it myself. It facilitated my ability to keep going in the garden without further delay. We will be enthusiastically recommending Superior to our friends and neighbors!

We just completed a major landscaping project including plantings, shrubs, trees, beds, etc. - and the results are amazing! Abby, Roberto, Mark and the entire team at Superior are fantastic to work with. From design through execution, the team worked closely with us to ensure the results would exceed our expectations. The project started on time, completed on time and the crew was professional. We highly recommend Superior for your next landscaping design/construction project!

We’ve gone back to Abby and Roberto year after year, and don’t hesitate to recommend their work to friends and family. They replaced our retaining wall, put in pavers, mulched and laid sod. We’ve used them for general yard cleanup and maintenance. Always great work, and super friendly.

Over the past 5 years we have used Superior Landscape Crew for all of our yard needs and have been happy with all of their work. They have done things for us from simply mowing the lawn and trimming our fruit trees and bushes to a larger project: replacing our wood deck and old patio pavers with a new stone patio. Their work is always excellent and that includes the materials they use, the crew who come to work, and Roberto and Abby's knowledge and attention to detail for every project, no matter how small. Everything is always done properly and professionally and we highly recommend them.
