I don’t know how they organize their business. But what I can say is the another Jeff Bezos. I called the the night before they show up in the morning and get the job done in the afternoon to complete some work recommended by home inspector for my over 1 million dollars home in Lexington. But they are not cheap. Isn’t that you get what you are paying for in this country?

Mike was great no nonsense down to earth polite and knowledgeable, can’t ask for anything more! Also I appreciate the quick response. Detector markup seemed a bit extreme.

Sylvester Electric was recommended to us by another contractor. The experience was nothing but professional. The job was completed ahead of schedule and at the quoted price. The employees were knowledgeable, polite and excellent with communicating throughout the project. We will use them again in the future.

Kyle was very professional and completed two days worth of work in one.

the water for the dishwasher was still shut off but because the
dishwasher ran and showed the "clean" light it took me
hours to work it out and turn on the hot water.
The new outlet is an inch behind and also below the valve.
Water Valves can routinely leak in drips so this is a bit close. I have verified that the new breaker is a ground fault interrupt type. The dishwasher was put back a tiny bit tilted forward (not plumb) and turn slightly (not mated with the hole for a dishwasher), with latitude for dealing with an old and crumbling particle-board counter. I will adjust it later. The conduit and maybe a new switch were thrown into the kitchen trash but probably should have been put aside for town-prescribed sorting of trash. Aside from that I assume I got a code-compliant electrical installation of the disposer switch which for 19 years was one cobbled up by a previous homeowner from an extension cord. So I got what I wanted.

The job was scheduled for 7:00 am. He arrived at 2:00. That is really a black mark.

The technician is professional and takes his work very seriously. He has eight years on the job.

Intake should communicate the type of fan. It’s a very old yet expensive fan, a Casablanca. If she had told him that perhaps another company would have been a better fit. Tech should not fine out AFTER hiring him.Thats 150 dollar loss for me. He said he was not trained specifically. He was able to assure me the wires were not a safety issue.

Next job was incomplete. That’s 350 loss for me. Also, apparently timers are different enough that it thew him a challenge. The result was the lights stay on all night rather than shut off at 10:00 pm.

I called this company years ago because my kitchen light switch was not working. They never even looked at the light switch and tried to sell me a $2,000 electrical home service contract. I said, no and we ended up paying $70.00 for the visit to come out with them doing nothing.

Carlos was the most amazing technician I ever dealt with. He was unbelievably courteous and attentive. He went out of his way to do a super clean job, and he completed the work efficiently in a timely manner.

Excellent experience. Several problems fixed within the space of one and a half hours. Amazing.

I have been putting off this review because I am not the kind of person to leave a bad review but I can’t hold out any more. This company was hired to upgrade my panel from a 100 to a 200 amp service. I hired them because I assumed they would do the best job, be the most efficient and professional and they could get it done in the time frame I needed.

Needless to say was I wrong. I paid $1600 more than the next closest bid and that was only after they gave me $1000 off if I signed that day. The office was so so with communication. They were almost a month late on the inspection. My ENTIRE panel is labeled completely wrong so I have had to hire another company to come and label it properly. The outside wires arent even secured to the house (they used a couple pieces of electrical tape and those failed. The installers left tools, their jacket, and a bunch of screws all over the basement which my cats and puppy found which would have been a disaster if my wife did hear them.

Overall would absolutely not recommend, completely bent me over on this job and I got a worse service and product than other companies that were WAY LESS expensive and came highly recommended. Avoid if you can.

Fantastic job. Cost less than anticipated, done short amount of time, and representative was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Will recommend Sylvester to anyone looking for a good company

Workers did a great job. Mike went beyond his job by coming by my area to make an adjustment to my motion light.
Not a fan of the approval system. It was confusing. I think it may be due to an update. Not sure.
