Very friendly, but poor quality work

I have never written a bad review, but 2/3 times I have had work done the quality was poor and the technicians were not honest or straightforward with me. I feel like I have been taken advantage of.
- The technician who inspected my furnace seemed very helpful explaining everything about my system, then told me about the many things wrong with my humidifier and the several parts that needed to be replaced.
- When I asked for help figuring out why a single vent fails to produce heat, I was offered a quote to install a mini-split system, instead of finding the issue/blockage in that duct.
- When the technician returned to fix the humidifier, he broke the cover off and cracked the entire body of the unit because he could not reach the clasp holding it on. I heard a clatter and asked if everything was okay, and he said yes, then asked for a chair. Before leaving, he used a very tiny and insufficient amount of tape to hold the cover back on, so it was not visible without getting on a chair. He did not tell me about the broken clasp.
- The technician told me a feed tube had been kinked and I should buy and install a replacement. Photos from before the technician arrive show the tube completely intact, but zip-tied to something. The technician cut the tube instead of carefully cutting the zip-ties, and made up a story about it being kinked.
- I did not use the humidifier for a month because of the “kinked” tube I had to order. When I replaced the tube, I noticed the broken cover, cracked shell, and the tape. Within 2 days of finally turning on the humidifier, the tape holding the cover gave out and the cover shattered on the ground. The humidifier is now unusable, and I had to cover it with garbage bags and duct tape to keep my furnace from venting into my basement.
- The crew that cleaned my ducts did not recognize my 1960s vent covers which I now know to be common, and it took them too long to figure out how to remove them
- The crew only cleaned 7 of the 11 vents, even though I had moved all furniture and shown them all the vents. When I asked one of them if they had done the bathrooms, he said yes. I checked the bathroom vents later and they were filthy.

All in all, I have spent $400+ to repair a $300 humidifier that is now unusable, and I paid $650 to have 2/3 of my ducts cleaned. I reached out to Druziako multiple times before I finally got a response that they would come to the house to assess the humidifier. They claim the humidifier was broken before they came to service it, despite me providing photo evidence otherwise. Even if that were true, that means a technician knowingly put $400 of parts and labor into a $300 humidifier that should have been replaced. They have only offered to replace the front cover, which would still need to be taped to the broken body, making it tedious to replace filters or perform service. I had to cancel my appointment for them to try a new cover because of an emergency, and then I decided I would rather learn HVAC myself than deal with them again. I cannot recommend this company.

Very they are very professional and efficient and I was really well pit. I have to say very well prepared for the job that they’re gonna do as a trades are in myself. I was before I retired years ago. I know what it’s like and they were very good and I appreciated the professionalism And I thank you people for yours and hopefully in the towards the end of the summer maybe we can talk about the boiler or whatever they call them OK thank you Robert Noble.

Victor Druziako was the Sr Service Technician who serviced my request. He was professional, courteous, was able to fix and resolve my issue in record time. Our Furnace and Central AC was serviced today for their annual maintenance. The Technician’s name was Vic. He was very professional. He clearly explained the entire process, what was good, bad and what to look for on future maintenance appointments. He also addressed an AC temperature concern on our 2nd floor.
He cleaned the entire system too.

Had a fantastic experience with Druziako HVAC! They were incredibly responsive and friendly from the start. Gave us the best quote around with no pressure at all—just honest advice and great service. The new AC unit was installed quickly and works perfectly. Highly recommend!

Vic was able to reset the ecobee premium thermostat so that it would send out warm heat instead of cold air. This is a very technical thermostat, so he was able to go through and reset everything that was needed.

Had a problem with a mini split. Low on refrigerant. Tech said no indications of a leak. Unit was factory charged. Later on unit stopped working again. Turns out unit had a leak.

I recently bought a house and needed a new furnace and I wanted to add central AC to my house. I have a friend who has been a contractor for 20 plus years in the town I moved to. I asked him who he uses, he said he only uses Druziako. I called them up and they came out gave me all my options and advised me on the best way to add duct work etc. They gave me a date they would be there and said it would take 2 days to complete the install. They showed up on time. They finished it in 2 days. Guys were professional and clean. The whole project came out better than I expected. I couldn't be more happy. I would recommend them to anyone. I would also recommend central AC to anyone. It's a nice gift to give yourself :)

Vic came and was efficient and did a very thorough job of cleaning and inspectimg the furnace and installed a new thermostat.I would recommend him for referance at any time.I am completely satisfied with his sevice.

My 73 yo mother had a problem where her furnace was not working. I called Druziako and informed them what was going on. They were quick to send out a tech who came within the hour. Vic showed up, very personable and courteous. He diagnosed the problem in 15 minutes and informed me it was a board in the furnace. He stated he will call his suppliers to locate a board. In 20 minutes he told me he had found one in Portsmouth NH. Vic told me the board was going to be $695, labor $175hr for 2 hours labor, and the 15 minute diagnosis charge was $195. Vic told me he ordered the board and it should be in the next day, once he has it in hand they will call and schedule an appointment to install it. I paid the $195 which I believed to be a little steep since I told them up front what the code was and what another HVAC person told me they believed what the issue is. Well the next day comes, I hear nothing, another day passes, nothing. I contact another HVAC person telling him the problem and what I was quoted, he immediately laughs and says those boards are usually less than $200. I ask him to order one and 2 days later he comes and installs it for a total of $300 for everything while this entire event lasted 5 days and Druziako had never contacted me to keep me informed about the status of the board, nothing for 5 days, leaving my 73 yo mother without heat, but was quick to take the $195 for 15 minutes work that the other person diagnosed over the phone in 5 minutes. Diagnose the problem and leave us hanging without any status when or if they were going to repair the furnace. A quote over 3 times more than what the other HVAC person did the job for, as well as the additional $195 diagnosis fee, never completing the job. I am not one to usually make waves but this was unacceptable, leaving an elderly woman hanging and absolutely zero contact to inform us what is going on. Needless to say, I will never recommend this company nor ever use them in the future. Thank you to the other HVAC tech for doing the job immediately and for such a reasonable price, best of all keeping me in the loop about the status of the board and its arrival. Finally my mother has heat, thank God.

This team comes highly recommended! A year after buying our home in Lowell, the air conditioning stopped working during the peak of summer heat. We contacted them and they responded promptly, carrying out a quick fix, refilled the freon, and also warned us that the unit might fail at any time. Being a budget-conscious individual, I opted for the affordable repair and hoped for the best. Unfortunately, the unit gave out entirely the next day. However, their employee, William, was exceptional; he guided us through the different types of AC systems, assisted us with finance options, and was significantly more efficient with paperwork and permits than we were. They maintained utmost professionalism and meticulousness during the installation process. They also installed a whole house fan, which we use constantly now - believe me, it's worth every cent. They offered us an unbeatable deal, and even credited the money from the repair visit to our installation. A couple of days after the initial setup, we noticed a faint whistling sound when the unit was running - the kind of noise that's hard to notice but once you've heard it, you can't unhear it. They were on site in no time, showing great flexibility and determination to locate and fix the source of the noise for us. Some adjustments to the length of the ducting and voila, the issue was resolved. I can't emphasize enough how amazing this team is, and they'll be my go-to for any future AC repair work! We're still in love with the system they installed!
