2 services done great service from both!
I had a great experience with Keith from Santon Plumbing & Heating. I called for a Clogged tub drain & sink drain and their technician Keith was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. He explained the problem and once the job was completed he had me check to make sure everything was all set. The issue was fixed quickly and the price was very reasonable. He even made sure to clean up the area before leaving. I would highly recommend Keith from Santon Plumbing for any plumbing needs and will definitely use them again in the future
I had a great experience with Nick from Santon Plumbing & Heating. He came to service my HVAC unit and was very Professional, quick and knowledgeable. He kept everything nice and Clean and explained what he did and made sure everything worked properly before leaving. I would highly recommend Nick from Santon Plumbing & heating for all HVAC needs and will definitely use them again in the future. -

When I called, the man who answered made sure he understood my issue clearly and spent time listening to me before sending our information to the dispatcher. Despite a late in the day call, someone came that evening. The worker spent time thoroughly testing our system to make sure he diagnosed it correctly. He was able to repair it quickly so we could have heat for a cold night. Our unexpected lack of heat was quickly and professionally remedied.

Matt Stagliola was fabulous. We still have a clogged drain, but Matt was so thoughtful and methodical in his approach. Very professional, personable, knowledgeable and polite. He explained everything he was going to do. He gave us multiple options, but advised less invasive options before more expensive and aggressive fixes.

Worst experience ever. Heat shut down on Sunday night. Called at 7:15am on Monday morning service. Despite two follow up calls at 3:30pm and 5pm, never received a follow up call or text. Started receiving texts on Tuesday morning saying I was scheduled for service. By 4pm I had still not received service. I called another company had they were willing to visit between 5pm and 5:30pm that same day, no extra charge. Inept and disrespectful service, won't be trusting them in the future.

I want to share how exceptional the service was from this company Paul and Alex were professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and went the extra mile for me. Landry has a client for life! Thank you so much. You guys are amazing!

I have used Landry’s services a few times over the last five years for minor work. In my experience they have been easy to book and do good work. However, every time the employees are practically begging me to give the company a good rating because it seems to affect their pay and I receive about a dozen text requests and phone calls after the work to rate the company so they can have the dominant position on Google which is very irritating.
The most frustrating experience I had was when I was inquiring about heat pump installation. The salesperson who came out gave an absolutely ridiculous estimate (about $30,000 for a 1000 sq ft house after rebates) and told me not to think about the price and just look at the monthly cost to fit it into my budget and asked me not to get quotes from any other companies, all of which made me no longer work with Landry. -
New Air Conditioning system in my home.
The Landry team worked with me to choose the best options for a new system and price it according to my budget. They were patient and answered all of my questions over several days
Their installation process was clearly explained to me from beginning to end. They worked really well as a team to deconstruct my old system, prepare the infrastructure for the new one and install it. They worked in a well orchestrated and professional manner.
These folks were GREAT. I can’t say enough about their efforts and the quality of the finished product
This new system in relatively quiet inside and out and cools the house effortlessly. -
The technicians, Larry and Hunter, were excellent. They took the time to understand the issue and offer suggestions. The work they did was excellent and efficient. They were very conscientious about cleanliness as well. We appreciated the service. $1,000+ for a kitchen faucet and drain installation (which we had already purchased) and replacement of the piping under the sink seemed a bit overpriced considering the work was completed in about 90 minutes.

Scammers! You know when you have a bad feeling in your gut and you’re not sure if you should go with it? Well, that’s the negative feeling I had with Landry Mechanical Inc Plumbing/HVAC and Electric! They came to my home multiple times and never could find the actual problem. The best part is when they tried to convince me that the cooling system that I had was not in different zones, they kept insisting that it was one, connected to the whole house, when in fact, I have 2 zones for the cooling system! Once he realized that I have 2 zones, he immediately said “oh yeah, you do have two zones”! I want to scream! I knew right there and then, that they were wasting time with me! I have to say also, that I never felt safe with them! I never liked their demeanor and they looked very sketchy.
I finally had enough and called another company who came and fixed the actual problem. They were very professional and made me feel safe, and did not overcharge me! Never again! Please audit this place! -
Landry mechanical was exceptional. From the first inspection to discussion about
the issues and to the installation of everything, they were wonderful.
We were informed about every detail and kept up to date on every step of the process.
They are incredibly detailed, efficient and very professional.
We thank you for making the whole process exceptional! -
The guy came to install 3bathriom facet, kitchen facet and 2 show facet. I was paying for labor only. The guy in a rush gave me a price of over 1000.00 and left without giving me a receipt. I call the office numerous times and informed that the guy left without giving me a receipt and I believe he over charged me. I have spoken with several individuals and explain to them, and they tell me they will look into it and call me back, but they don’t return the call. I think they are a dishonest company because refuses to provide me with a receipt and explanation My plans is to go in person.

This was the first plumber that I felt really listened to me. They are fair with their pricing and were able to provide several options to us, no pressure to choose the most expensive one. They're great communicators, including the owner himself, who I didn't expect to speak to directly. Him being so hands on and friendly with customers is in my book a sign of a great leader, someone who remains humble despite their success. Next time I need a plumber, they'll be the first ones I call!

Landry prides itself on being the largest family-owned HVAC company in Central MA, but that means nothing if all their techs are just young and inexperienced. During the heat wave last week, our 3.5-year-old AC unit in our new construction home stopped working. We’re on the service contract and get maintenance every spring, but we’ve had issues with the AC not working every summer.
We called Thursday night and two techs came Friday morning. They turned the breaker back on and the unit started running so they left - only for it to stop working less than an hour later. They came back Monday and the same thing happened. Even though we paid the $99 house call fee, they charged $480 for a “major diagnostic,” which turned out to be them calling manufacturer tech support and reading from a manual. They also charged a $100 fee just to check warranty coverage, even though the parts were in fact under warranty. Labor was not. They still couldn’t figure it out and offered two options: replace only the control board for $400 labor, or replace everything for over $1000 labor (control board, motor, etc.).
Since they had no clear answer, we chose to replace only the control board. An hour after they left, the AC failed again. We called back, and this time they sent two different techs that were more “experienced” in working on Trane AC units. After hours of testing, they said it was the motor/blower. Replacing it would take 2–3 days for the part to arrive and cost another $765 in labor. We reluctantly paid the deposit for them to order the part after already spending thousands on their guesswork.
Days went by without any update. Meanwhile, we had a sick baby at home during a heat wave and kept calling, but no one got back to us. Only after complaining on Monday did they say the part was in (even though it was supposedly ordered the prior Tuesday). They replaced it the next day and finally the system worked.
They are so quick to upsell you on something (they tried selling us the service contract even though we’re already on it, which just shows how not diligent they are and how unfamiliar they are with their customers, because a simple look at our file would show the maintenance and repairs we’ve had regularly since moving in). They’re better salespeople than technicians, and seem to navigate the iPads better than they can actually fix an AC unit. Over $1800 later and a whole week without AC in a heatwave due to inexperienced people. Look elsewhere for your HVAC needs.
The entire experience was frustrating, expensive, and lacked transparency. We felt like they were just guessing at our expense, piling on fees without solving the problem. -
I had a fantastic experience with Landry Mechanical. Their team was professional, punctual, and extremely knowledgeable. From scheduling the appointment to completing the job, everything was seamless. They took the time to explain the issue clearly, offered honest recommendations, and completed the work efficiently and with great attention to detail. The quality of service was top-notch, and their customer care really stood out. I highly recommend Landry Mechanical to anyone in need of reliable plumbing or heating services!

Randy came to our home today to flush our water-heater tank, and he made us feel completely at ease. We’re always a little nervous calling service companies because you never know who you’ll get—but Randy was exceptional. Randy was professional, patient, and took the time to explain and educate us through every step of the process. Randy made us feel comfortable, supported, and confident in the work being done. We truly appreciate him and highly recommend requesting Randy if you can.

We had to have major pipe repair/replacement done in the basement. Our technician Matt was very knowledgeable and very clear with our alternatives. They completed the work efficiently and timely. Would highly recommend them!

Excellent service from our technician, Matt. Landry is easy to schedule service online, good communication and the issue was explained clearly including pricing. So happy with the result, our garbage disposal leak was fixed quickly! Thank you!

I needed a repeat for a light fixture install that went bad and took out power to my garage. Mike and Josh showed up first thing in the morning and immediately spotted the issue and restored power, installed the light fixtures and also replaced a transformer for a video doorbell. All the work was clearly explained and done quickly and cleanly. So, I was very pleased with the experience and the electricians and will be calling Landry again next time I need some work done!

Opportunists who tried to push a new heating system when it wasn't needed! Our thermostat stopped working, so we had no heat. Landry said they could come out for $99 to evaluate the problem. They sent a very young, inexperienced HVAC guy who looked at the furnace for over an hour and could not determine the problem. He rattled off 5 or 6 things it could be, but informed us we would need to spend another $500 for an in depth diagnosis if we wanted to know what the actual problem was. He did suggest some very costly repair options $3000-5000, for what he thought would fix the problem, but advised us to replace the whole system as it is 13 years old anyway. We were skeptical but decided to talk to the "Comfort Advisor" aka sales guy and see what he said. He came out another day to discuss options. He said our previous technician had been at the company one to three months but was highly trained. He gave us quotes ranging from $10k-20k for a new furnace, or heat pump and was quite pushy in trying to make the sale. We had someone come out from a different company the next day to get a second opinion. They looked at the furnace for 7 minutes and found that the wiring to the thermostat was bad. He had it fixed and running in minutes for $165. Landry wasted hours of our time and caused us serious panic thinking we needed to spend tens of thousands of dollars on a new system for something that was fixed by someone else in minutes. I will not contact Landry for any reason going forward. I wouldn't trust them for a second. Very disappointing for a company that gets so many good reviews.

Our first contact with Landry Mechanical was via a home visit, the representative was very knowledgeable and easy to talk with. After reviewing our current heating equipment he was able to give us a written quote on the spot. Unlike another vendor we talked with that took 2 days to get back to us.
Landry was extremely helpful with getting us in contact with Mass Save, and the rebate programs they offered.
They showed up about one week later with a crew and all the “stuff” and completed the installation in one day, that night we had an air conditioned house. We are very pleased with the Landry Mechanical company and will recommend them to our friends and family.
I wanted to add a note about the great job that Patrick Humphrey and Ian Shack did with the installation of the system at our home. Patrick was knowledgeable and precise as well as respectful of our home. The final steps were to insulate the heating duct work and they did a great job.
Thanks again to everyone who worked on our system.
